"We were warmly greeted by the reception staff and our check-in was fast. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the the hotel gardens and entertainment areas were clean and well maintained. There was some maintenance work going on but we were never affected by it. We enjoyed the two swimming pools and some of the other recreational activities like table tennis. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the morning breakfast was a great spread. Our son enjoyed the kid's entertainment area. The weather was rainy during most of our stay so we were not able to get into the sea or try some of the beach adventure activity that was available at the resort.
The hotel was close to the main road so we sampled some of the nearby restaurants and street food which were cheap and tasty. The Klong Plu waterfall is just a few kilometres away and definitely worth a visit. Not suitable for young children though. The resort provides scooters for hire but they are also available on the main road at a cheaper price. Island tours, elephant camps and rides, beach side restaurants and bars and snorkelling trips are some of the other activities available. Would definitely recommend this place to friends."

"This place is amazing! When I booked the place, I didn't expect much, just to play the pool with my 7 year-old boy. I think he's gonna like playing sliders. When we get there, there are lots of impressive things: the location, the look of the hotel, the service, the beach, the bar, the room, and the pool. One of the best things I wanna say to everyone is their service staff are very kind and well-trained. They are willing to answer all of questions you may have with the smile. I don't wanna say but you will feel like god. The bathroom, the pool and the bar are also very impressive. If I wanna to complain, only thing I can think of is parking spot is limited. If it's full, you need to park outside. But there is a staff taking care outside. So no big deal. I am definitely recommended this place to everyone. My boy doesn't wanna leave ^^"

"Our stay at the Dewa was lovely.
The unique design of the hotel and rooms in brushed concrete was unique, and we loved it. Our room was on the ground floor at the poolside, so you could literally step out of the room into the pool. The rooms are comfortable with huge bathrooms. Also a relatively reasonably priced mini bar.
Wifi is available in rooms and the hotel as a whole-very useful fo uploading pics to make your friends green with envy!
Very much enjoyed having happy hour cocktails in the beach bar overlooking the ocean.
The breakfast was amazing and delicious. In fact all the food in the hotel was delicious, and there is a tasty, cheap restaurant just next door on the beach called Family Restaurant which is worth a look. You have to try fried fish in sweet and sour!
All staff at the Dewa are attentive and happy to help. Altho we were there in low season, so there was an abundance of staff!
The beachside sunlounger area was great, but towards the end of our stay it was getting filled up with people from neighbouring hotels and sometimes we couldnt get a lounger-which was annoying. Also in high season I think you would have to get up pretty early to secure one!
Two must do things-the elephant trekking (the two hours not the one) is amazing and a great experience (go early at 8.30 whilst its still cool and the elephants are fresh). Also the beach BBQ-which some nights has a fire eater-is yummy and gorgeous eating on the beach! Also make use of the free shuttles, we went to the waterfall-which is beautiful.
All in all a gorgeous, unique, small and personal hotel that I would def recommend. "

"Pros:
1. Good for the families traveling with young kids and toddlers.
2. Nice Swimming Pool with shallow depth.
3. Beautiful Landscape and Gardens.
4. Free Shuttle to drop and pick up - Klong Prao Beach and Klong Plu waterfalls.
5. Restaurant serves very tasty and delicious food with good hygiene quality in affordable prices.
6. Very much kid friendly.
7. Small partially functional Jacuzzi Pool.
8. Beautiful balconies opening up to the natural landscape.
9. Most wonderful people manning receptions and other serviceable areas.
10. Awesome breakfast served within the garden areas.

1. Gym is poor.
2. During my stay - never seen anyone taking treatment at Spa.
3. Need to walk almost 800 meters and 600 meters at both sides from the main entrance to reach local shopping areas.
4. Did not see any unique souvenir shop within resort.
5. Bit far from the nearby beaches.

"This was my first time in Koh Chang and lucky enough, we found paradise hill, a newly built hotel near Klong Phrao Beach.
Please note that the hotel is not next to the beach but we only need to walk for about 100 meters across the street to the beach.
The stay was amazing and the room was super clean and spacious. The reception was very welcoming and don’t be afraid to ask them questions about where to eat or party ‘cause they are more than willing to help.
We wanted to rent a motorbike so we rented directly from the hotel for 250 bath per day to travel around the island.
Furthermore, on the day I booked the hotel, agoda noted that was my birthday so the hotel made me a cake and surprise me on that evening.
Again, thank you for making my 18th birthday so memorable and I will come back soon😘😘

"Panviman Koh Chang is a truly beautiful resort in a fantastic location on klong prao beach which is arguably one of the best beaches on the island. It is situated right in between White Sands and Kai Bae / Lonely Beach which makes it great for exploring all the different areas.
Panviman is hidden away down a private road which is about 1 km. As such it makes it really secluded and fantastic to escape the hustle and bustle. It's easy to access however as they have a free shuttle service and also local taxis will ferry you down for a vey cheap price, which is a god send in the heat.
Panviman is very grand and a stunningly beautiful resort. The villas are stunning in design and the rooms are fantastic. Some of the fitted wardrobes could do with refurbishing but as it is quite a grand resort you kind of accept this, but as it is so beautiful it does deserve a little TLC.
The pools are beautiful and the beach is stunning. The restaurants serve excellent food and drinks and we took advantage of the great food and service quite a lot.
What makes Panviman even more stand out is the service. The staff throughout the restaurant, bar, spa and front office are absolutely fantastic. From the minute we arrived we where made to feel so special! The staff are absolutely excellent and are obviously very professional. Winnie who is the Guest Relations Officer is a truly fantastic! She made our stay so special and the service she is able to deliver is genuinely amongst the best we have experienced. She is very attentive and is always wanting to make sure all the guests are happy and taken care of!
All in all with the beauty of the resort followed up with outstanding service I would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone. Couples, families and groups it is really perfect! What an amazing place and amazing staff!! Thank you so much for making our holiday so special."

housekeeping was good. Aana is prefect location in Klong Prow area half way if you want to go to White Sand beach or Bang Bao village

"This was like a dream coming true; staying at a place which has best of everything to offer which you would be thinking while making a booking.
Its located on the main road, which is a big plus knowing that this is a beach resort.
Has a quick, responsive, responsible, amiable staff which will go out all the way to make you feel special.
The hotel will make every effort to not to let you feel bad about your decision of choosing this as your place to stay.
Has one of the best beaches with an amazing view. And possibly one of the cleanest in Koh Chang with beautiful clear water as we happened to stay at a neighboring Four Star, just after this and except for a resounding name it was a sheer contrast to our earlier experience at Paradise Resort.
The room service was punctual, regular and proficient in their work.
Food at the Hotel's restaurant was of very nice quality (if not the best) since we are no Thai so really difficult making a judgment for us, but were comprehensively satiated by the sumptuous food available at a good discount.
There were some renovations going on at the children's pool next to the adult pool which was in proper working.
Will definitely recommend this place to all our friends.
We will miss you KCPR till we meet again.

"Cant understand some of the bad reviews, I think some peoples expectations are placed too high for a hotel in this price bracket. Travelling with a group of 9 including children and stayed in the beachfront bungalows, great experience that wouldn't be afforded in other '4 star' hotels. The swimming pool was small,unattractive, poorly located,in the shade for most of the day and hence wasn't much used by anyone. The bigger hotel next door had a massive pool ;-). Klong Prao is really nice but quiet - would split a week between the busier white sand beach area."

"Situated in the Klong Prao bay area on the island Ko Chang in the Gulf of Thailand, Klong Prao Resort offers a good variety of accomodation, excellent beach restaurant and excellent service at very reasonable prices.
During the dry season (December - March) the weather is warm (25 - 30 degrees centigrade)and bathing in the sea is very safe but an outdoor swimming pool, complete with bar is also available. Canoes can be hired for exploring lagoon, nearby river and sea.
Don't miss waterfall a couple of kilometers away. "
