"Enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The hostel is well kept and modern. New bathrooms and the rooms are neat and clean. The cubicles are a great idea and offer spacious privacy at a very cheap place. Tv, aircon, power inside the cubicles. Location is 200metres from chaweng beach and walking markets. 500metre from ark beach club if you want to party. Breakfast and drinks at the hotel are cheap and good quality. Staff are very helpful and friendly with check in, booking transfers or renting motorcycles. "

"Good location and cheap price on Agoda. More expensive if you book at the reception. We stay in both Orchid Residence and Orchid Residence 2. The latter is perfect: big room, brand new private superclean bathroom. Just the best accommodation you probably can find near the beach. The first one should be settled but it remains a good solution to stay. "

"Stayed in many hotels in Koh samui and this one is by far the best among the 3 star hotels. Comfortable bed, very clean room, and an amazing roof bar. 23$ for a double room is a great deal.. Unluckily, the hotel was booked out and I had to stay in other hotels of the same price category, not even comparable with Cheeky Monkey.. So highly recomended. "

"Chaweng Buri made it my best holiday ever in the last 5 years. The first impression I had was service and hospitality from persons working there. All employees would greet you every time they met you. Another thing is the location of the hotel. As it is located at heart of the most popular Chaweng Beach, it is centre of everywhere. The hotel is 5-min distance to pubs, restaurants or convenient stores. Regarding the style, Chaweng Buri is exotic in that the hotel is designed and decorated with a tropical island style. You will be surprised that one minute behind the hotel’s reception, they bring you to a different world where greens, palm and coconut trees synchronise very well with the sound of the wind and local birds. This atmosphere is second to none for the any hotel in the area. The hotel is the beach-fronted and with wide white sand beach, this enables almost recreational activities. During night time, a famous beach club called ‘ArkBar’ is just 5 mins walk from the hotel beach! I chose to stay in Chaweng Buri Superior Garden Villa. It is well-decorated with Southern Thai style. Chaweng Buri provides excellent facilities in the room. Television and air-condition are given. WiFi are available for free throughout the hotel. It surprised me that WiFi signal is strong enough for you to surf the internet while having a sun-bathing on the beach! The picture attached explains how beautiful the room is. Another is about food. The food price is not expensive compare to the quality and portion of dishes. Pad Thai (Thai Traditional Fried Noodle with King Prawn) is unbeatable and every dish is cooked to order. Vegetable spring roll is another signature dish of Chaweng Buri’s kitchen. This is an incredible taste I never found in any restaurant in Thailand. Breakfast is also well-served with a variety of food. The only concern I had is mosquitos althogh that it is common to Thailand. Apart from that, Chaweng Buri is worth returning for my next holiday! "Stayed here during low season and got the room for under 30 bucks. Booked their cheapest room (Superior Studio) which is actually in another building, much older but got a free upgrade to the deluxe studio room. If you are staying here during low season they close the old building and upgrade everyone to the newer building. So save yourself some money and book their cheapest room. The bed is comfortable, nice large flat screen TV in the room with a decent channel line-up (something for almost everyone), strong aircon, small balcony for having a cig but no furniture. Decent bathroom with daily toiletries provided and two bottles of water. The swimming pool is huge and a bunch of loungers around the pool. The major downside is their is no free WIFI in the room and you have to go to the lobby for free WIFI. Fortunately we are on the second floor and are picking up the signal in our room which is very sweet. You can purchase a WIFI card at the front desk for an outrageous amount of baht if you want too but it is a real rip off...WIFI should be like oxygen...Free. Great location near Chaweng Beach, less than 10 minutes to the beach and you can cut through the Centara Grand Hotel or walk another short block and access the beach down a sandy lane, less than 5 minutes to 7-11. The hotel is off the main street and is very quiet. I would definitely stay here again as the room represents pretty good value given the free upgrade. Best price is on Agoda, their walkup and internet rates are laughable at best. "

"The hotel is centrally located just on Chaweng beach. The staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast is poor, not many choices and average quality. Food in the hotel is quite expensive, but one can easily go out to the neighboring streets for great food with less money. The pool is a highlight. It is very big and few people. But in the same time, there is almost no public space in the hotel, because the pool and the pool-access rooms basically occupy all public space. One can only go to the end of the pool or the beach. In general the hotel worth its money we spent. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this hotel. "
