"My wife and I stayed at the weekender for 4 nights in October 2012. The Weekender has many room types from very budget to upper class. We stayed in a Deluxe room. There are big, beautiful and clean. There is a large building at the back of the resort right near the road where the standard rooms are these were all getting a make over with a lot of building work going on at this block. The Deluxe rooms over look the pool area and the beach. There is 1 big pool and 2 smaller spa type pools below it. They are beautiful and over look the beach. As we visited in Low season they didnt have the full buffet breakfast every morning, we were able to order off a small list what we wanted. But breakfast was enough to start the day. The grounds and garden is very well kept and clean. The staff were very helpfull and Nide arranged our transfers to Koh Phangan and we were picked up at the hotel and taken straight to the pier for our boat all tickets etc all arranged and I could not have done it any cheaper myself so it saved me a lot of time. So well done Nide it all went really smooth. The hotel is in the perfect position in Lamai, there are so many shops and restaurants surrounding it that you never have to eat at the hotel if you dont want. There are night food stalls set up just a short walk from the hotel and they are amazing. The best and cheapest food we ate whilst in Samui. Make sure you eat there, you wont be let down. Lamai is nice and quite compared to Chaweng its perfect for a relaxing holiday.Would stay here again if in Lamai."

"After did for so many filtered of hotel, thanks god, this is the best selection of hotel. We enjoyed big pool and beach front hotel room. But the hotel is a bit inside from main road, you will need to walk out like 5-6 mins to access to main road. Therefore we rented a bike with hotel so that we able to drove to far to explored others areas than Lamai beach. We would like to suggested Lamai View Point. Must check it out if you happen to come Lamai. The massage service Infront of our hotel is superb, we had try massage and scrub. It is Just a few steps walked from hotel room to the beach & massage place. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. You can also rent water sport -like jetski with nearby company. We felt It is cheaper compare to Chaweng Beach. But for the environment surrounding we felt it will a little more quiet compare to Chaweng Beach. Definitely will stay this hotel again! "

"We stayed 5 x nights in a pool side room. The Hotel is located right in the middle of Lamai Beach Town, with the beach only a 200 mtr walk. We stayed in the low season, which for us, was great as the Hotel was very quiet (only between 6 to 8 rooms were occupied at any one time) which gave the Hotel a Boutique feel. As it being low season, the breakfast was basic (you could get eggs cooked for you if you wanted, but that was the extent of the hot food), but you had choices of cereals, breads, cold meats & fruit, which was fine. The staff were very attentive & spoke very good english. The only negative I could find with the Hotel is that you experience dull noises from the nearby Bars around the area, but if you want to stay in the centre of the town, than that's what you need to expect. Overall a very pleasant stay & will be definitely staying back at Am Samui when back at Lamai (PS. Lamai Beach is a lot better beach than Chaweng) "

"Lamai Inn 99 is a great place to stay if you are on a budget but still want some home comforts like tv air con hot running water swimming pool etc. when booking it was amongst the cheapest places to stay in Lamai on agoda but what you get for the money probably beats a lot of places charging more in the same price range. dont get me wrong this is a budget place but it is smart and clean, the room we had which was in front of the main building was spacious and new looking and you cant beat the location - the beach on one side and the centre of Lamai shopping and nightlife on the other....recommended!"

"My wife and I did a lot of research about Samui, including all of the different areas and the different hotels. We chose Lamai Beach because we thought it would be quieter than Chaweng up north and we were VERY pleased. Samui Jasmine is an ideal place to stay for a multitude of reasons: Pros: - The staff. They are friendly, outgoing, and very professional. The housekeepers are like ninjas! We would step out to have a quick breakfast (maybe 20-30 minutes) and the room was completely made up by the time we returned. - Location: truly AMAZING. I worried that Lamai would be a bit *too* quiet, but it was ideal from our perspective and Samui Jasmine is in the absolutely best location for beach access and for local shopping and strolling. We were here in the VERY low season of late June and every other hotel seemed completely dead. Samui Jasmine always had customers without feeling overwhelming and obnoxious. "
