Hotels near Las Cabanas Beach

The view from this resort is really amazing even if you stay in the garden view room (you can always climb up the hill and have rest on the lounges there). But it's a bit noisy because of 24/7 working electricity generator and water pump (I guess that was their sound). Although electricity and hot water is not very stable like almost everywhere in El Nido. Corong Corong is the best place to stay in El Nido I'm sure, and the beach Las Cabanas which is situated right near the hotel (but you have to climb from there some hundreds steps up, so be ready for that! if you have been to the best hotel on Santorini in Greece you won't complain) is really one of the best beaches of El Nido as well, and if you are near Las Cabanas you don't need these everyday island-hoppings to enjoy your stay in El Nido. E.g. the main beach of Corong Corong is nothing to compare with Las Cabanas. The service is standard (they will offer you all the famous tours ABCD, all possible activities and rent a van to Puerto Princesa or anywhere else), the staff is helpful with all your bags and all you may ask. Every time you'll go to the beach you may ask a towel at the reception. The restaurant is nice for view and dinner, included buffet breakfast is also good. The rooms are a bit small and stuffy. I don't like air-conditioners but I had to use it. No Wi-Fi and no SMART signal (only at the reception desk and in the restaurant up the hotel). Дороговатое место, но вид сумасшедшей красоты, особенно если в комнате с морским видом на Корон Корон (вид на другую сторону с садом и морем вдалеке тоже, однако, неплох). Но после тяжелого дня или как разленишься на пляже, трудно подниматься наверх по ступенькам, но тут уж... на то и вид! Кто бывал в Греции на скалах Санторини на ступеньки жаловаться не будет. В номере душновато, трудно проветрить, номер маленький, если открыть окно - круглосуточно шумит электрогенератор и водонасос, хотя всё равно перебои с горячей водой и светом случаются регулярно. Нет вайфа

Pros - new rooms, eco-friendly, hammocks, beachfront, near Las Cabanas Beach and restaurants and bars, quiet, beautiful sunrise and sunset, free movie showing at night, has a solar powered electric fan in case of electricity out, unlimited free drinking water, breakfast with large serving, good flow of water Cons- lots of mosquitoes so gotta bring insect repellant, need to spend for tricycle if you want to go to the city so I'm suggesting to check in on nights you won't be spending time in the city anymore, beach is not swimmable as the tour boats dock here

The hotel is well appointed. Location wise, it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the town center and beach area. We got a deluxe room and the amenities were exceptional. I especially appreciated the locally-woven buri slippers. The only problem we had was the internet, which is slow at best and the hotel wifi wasn’t working at all. The staff are very hospitable and friendly. They are very attentive and helpful. I’d definitely stay there the next time I visit El Nido and will recommend it to family and friends.

We loved our stay at Pukka Beach. We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff is so amazing and helpful! The location was perfect. A short tricycle ride into town and walking distance to Las Cabanas beach and other restaurants. The breakfast every morning was so delicious and you get to enjoy it with an amazing view. The only con is the stairs that you need to take to get to the hotel. They are pretty steep and narrow and especially difficult with luggage. There is also no sign when you get to the bottom of the stairs. You need to walk about 100m to the left to get to the actual hotel. Other than that, we loved it!

I enjoyed my stay and would come back. Casa Kalaw is one of the hotels in the new Lio Estate. The hotel is new, with clean and modern/coastal furnishing. The front desk and restaurant staff were helpful and courteous. I really liked the Lio estate as a whole. Nice clean beach, with several restaurants & bars to choose from (I liked Shaka). Enough to do aside from laying on the beach (SUP, kayaking). Best part is that it is not crowded. This may change as the place becomes more popular. You can book island-hopping tours through Le Swift (near the hotel, just ask the front desk). They’ll pick you up from the hotel. The hotel pool is nice, though I didn’t really use it since the beach is just 2 minutes away. The breakfast buffet and resto food is 👍. The only thing I didn’t like was that my room faced the walkway so I kept the curtains drawn. There is wifi in the room and around the hotel, and cellular reception is clear (if you cannot completely disconnect). Overall, I recommend staying here. Definitely much better than the accommodations in town. Not as exclusive but more affordable and convenient than staying at one of the island resorts (Lagen, Miniloc, etc), since it’s just 5 mins ride from the Lio airport (free shuttle if you are staying in one of the Lio resorts). The are also hourly shuttles to town (free) so you are not really isolated.

Immediately staff were very attentive. Rooms were clean, quiet and well equipt. Aircon a welcome relief from the days heat. No fridge in room but in an eco resort it's best to keep it that way. Metres away from the beach, restaurants and bars. Buffet breakfast was always a treat, fruit, breads, garlic rice (personal fave) and other interesting local produce. Really enjoyed our stay here. Only thing I'd advise is maybe on arrival giving guests more info about the resort and a map. We had to ask for a map and found loads of other shops we didn't know about! Also would have been nice to use the neighbouring hotels pool for a small fee in quieter times but we were lucky enough to get upgraded to Huni which had a pool, so no complaints, just thinking about other guests options. Loved our stay, would highly recommend and would love to come back!!

I appreciate greatly that Ting (the owner) bent the rules and allowed me a rather check-in around 8am. I arrived El Nido around 3am and had forgotten to take into consideration that the standard time for check-in was at 2pm. I like how hands on Ting is with the operations around the 12 room inn, and how helpful and friendly he and his crew are. Every morning during breakfast (which was similar everyday but filling for a tiny eater like me), Ting would make his round and ask every room guest their plans for the day. He arranged my rides for trips to the isolated Nacpan and Duli beaches and also to Las Cabanas beach at a discounted rate with his young friend who was also friendly and could navigate the routes safely. Overall I'm pleased with Swiftlets Inn facing the gorgeous limestone and their usage of solar panels to generate hot water, inverter air-cond and toilet with a cover that doesn't pinch the skin like the older versions do. The only small complaints are to include tea bags to the self service pantry instead of merely Milo and Nescafe, to provide drinking water and use a thicker blanket instead of a white bedsheet for air-cond rooms. Keep up the good job Swiftlets Inn!

We found the hotel and our room to be very clean. The room was quite spacious, the bed was comfortable, the TV had a decent amount of channels to flick though (both filipino and english), and the bathroom was also spacious and clean. As my room was street side, I was worried that traffic noise might be an issue, but this was not the case. Staff were also very polite and always smiling, and were always willing to try and help (if they could that is). The location of this hotel is in the heart of El Nido town (Barangay Buena Suerte), so it's very easy to walk around to a lot of the restaurants and bars, and is only a 5-10 minute scooter/tricycle taxi ride to the Las Cabanas area where you'll find more restaurants and bars (as well as along the way there). Would definitely stay here again.

Rosanna's is a very solid option for el Nido travellers. The location is excellent, sitting right on the beach with el Nido's picturesque view, but just far enough away from the bars that you don't get the night-time noise. The rooms were relatively simple, but they had a well functioning fan and air conditioning. The staff are helpful. The breakfast is rubbish, though they deliver it to your room which makes for a very nice balcony meal in the mornings. We stayed 8 nights and didn't really have any complaints, it is a very good base for el Nido. By the way, make sure you check out the next bay around (Las Cabanas) and another bay called Nacpan Beach. Much much better options for swimming and sunbathing. el Nido seems to have become basically a stopping point for accommodation and eating and drinking, rather than a beach in its own right. Palawan Divers is right across the street from Rosanna's and is an excellent outfit.

The hotel is located a road away from the center of town, and very close to the beach. Eateries were in walking distance, corner shops a stone’s throw away. Main road was about a minute walk and the beach 2 minutes. The room was very comfortable. We were 3 adults and an infant and the hotel could easily accommodate the third person on arrival. The bed slept amazing! Cushions were soft and puffy. Only minor issue was that we were on the 4th floor of the hotel, and there’s no elevator. So trekking up and down was a mission - but not impossible. The room has an Aircon which worked wonders, and a ceiling fan which also helped. Room does not have a kettle (but can request one) and no fridge. TV was there with some decent channels. Bring a USB with films if you’re into watching movies late night. There are water coolers on each floor!! (Hot and cold filtered water). Lifesaver!! WiFi at the hotel was pretty good most of the time. Our last day the whole island has an internet issue though. We used SIM cards as backups anyway. Breakfast was basic - filled a gap with some fried eggs and toast. Was happy with that. We could very easily access our day trips... ‘Harbor’ was a 5min walk from the hotel. Only time we needed a tricycle was to and from the airport and once to Las Cabanas. The hotel has a backup generator, but was never needed during our stay. Some construction of other buildings and roads around the hotel, but nothing impacting our stay. Would definitely return to this hotel. The owner was present during our stay. Very hands on and interactive. So much staff around too

We were there for 4 nights. What we liked the most was the tranquility of the place and the friendly staff. They were always happy to answer our questions. They also booked our Island Hopping Tour and hired our transport to Port Barton very easily. The highlight was the tricycle driver, he brought us to Las Cabanas beach and we asked him if he could pick us up later at a certain time. Not only was he there, but he arrived 15 min earlier and recognized us right away. Another time, we didn’t have the exact change when he brought us in town, he told us that there was no worries, we could pay him later. Cons : the restaurant would be nicer if it was facing the beach instead of the street.

Pros: - Good breakfast buffet (the selection wasn't that varied but it was adequate and everything was tasty!) -Communication with hotel was good (The transfer from and to Puerto Princesa and to Island hopping was very easy) -Room (Very nice shower and the interior was cute) -Beach (Lio Beach is really a nice place to chill and sunbathe!!!! Super relaxing ambiance. Water isn't as nice as the other beaches you'll go to during your island hop but it's not bad) -Eco friendly hotel and resort Cons: -Room (beds were a bit uncomfy for some reason. I think it's the mattress, but the pillows were great. During our last day, the aircon wasn't working well anymore) Overall, would recommend and would stay in Lio again. Might try other hotels in Lio estate but for the price and location, wouldn't mind staying in Hotel Covo again.

i really enjoyed my 3-night stay with my friends at garnet hotel. the staff were extremely helpful in providing all our needs. palawan folk, i find, are a warm and kind tagalog people who care for their home by minding waste management and keeping the beauty of the place intact. the hotel is just across the row where the beach is, and to get to the beach you need to cross a small private alley which also doubles as a shower area for a nearby dive centre - which gets awkward when someone is soaping up and you have to pass through and excuse yourself. but all in all, this is a great place to stay, not seedy looking but very professional. the breakfast is served from a restaurant across the street with a fantastic view.... breakfast is so-so but the view makes it incredible. the hotel provides free wifi, fast enough to use for facebook and to skype. almost every establishment in el nido is wifi-enabled - a pleasant surprise considering no atm machines exist in this place! for those who do not want the connectivity and be secluded from it all, well, you can always not bring your gadgets and it will work out fine for you as well.

The hotel was fairly brand new. The room looked better, bigger, and cleaner than the pictures. They should get a better photographer. The price was cheap and very reasonable. Their staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel's front is the jumping point for island tours and a few meters away from dining areas. They also have a viewing deck cum restaurant for you to see El Nido Bay. The hotel in general is waaay better compared to other pricier hotels at the beach front. Best of all, their staff were very honest. They found a gold ring we mistakenly left in their vault. They were able to return it to someone we knew in the town. We will definitely return to this hotel and we recommend it to our friends.

I booked this hotel for 1 night and end up staying 5 nights there :) Hotel is located just at the beginning of Corong Corong beach with a short walk to the beach and some 20min walk to the town centre. I stayed in a single room for a very reasonable price in already expensive El Nido. Room was very clean with hot water and good water preasure in shower. Owner of the hotel is Italian Antonio and manager is French Ben so they know what an average europian backpacker needs. They create a possitive familly atmosfere in the common area used for breakfast (delicious and included) and drinks at the evening. There is a power plant just 100 meters far from the hotel, but it is not a big deal. Your room fan makes probably the equal noise. And yes sometime the wi-fi is not stable and there may be insect on the garden, but come on, you are in Philippines and there is jungle around El Nido. That is why Palawan is so beautiful. Giving easily 10 stars.

+ great location! Not far from Las Cabanas beach. Lots of restaurants and bars near by without being in the busy main town. + very helpful and kind staff. They booked everything we needed for our stay in El Nido, including 2 boat tours and the ferry to Coron. + comfortable room. - the fan and AC in the room could have been better. They were either on and the room was very cold. Or off and the room was very hot. Even though the fan is meant to have different settings, it’s either on or off essentially. - The option for breakfast would have been nice.

Cost-effective hotel。With a family of five people, the room is huge compared with other hotels in the same price range。The waiter is very good，I forgot to book it for two days ，but the waiter helped reserve it. Thank you very much ，and hot showers（Many hotels in EI Nido don't have hot water）The beach is across from the hotel，there is also paid laundry service。I will book this hotel next time。

The staff was great. They allowed us to use the shower room of the room we booked since we just came from the island tour and we are already past our check out time. They have a hot and cold shower which is great. They have a complimentary breakfast which will keep you going for the upcoming tours. A ride away from the beach front for the tours. Hoping to come back again here!

It is hard to define in just few words how amazing our stay was at La Salangane. Since the first moment we arrived it was not only like feeling at home....but even better! EVERYTHING and EVERYONE at La Salangane was just AMAZING. I recommend everyone who is reading this review to stay at this hotel no matter if you are a family with kids or just a couple in a romantic trip or a group of friends looking for adventure and fun. Here are my recommendations: After your exhausting trip by van from Puerto (unless you could afford the ITI flight from Manila) enjoy a wonderful dinner at their restaurant and ask their staff about the activities they offer and they will arrange everything for you...no matter if its an island hopping tour (tour A and C recommended...in that order), diving activities (they have a brand new diving center which will for sure fulfill all your needs) or an "inland" tour (i recommend Nacpan Beach one full day and Verde Safari Beach+Bucana Fisherman Town another day). Next day enjoy their very nice breakfast on their terrace while watching the prettiness of the archipelago and then head for your tour or activity. Once you are back at the hotel have a cup of coffee while watching the sunset while their staff starts to light the candles on the tables and torches in the terrace wall. If you feel like partying tonight La Salangane is the perfect place to start the night after your dinner. Nice music, nice conversation with their people, nice drinks (try their fruit flavor homemade rum) and if you want to keep the party going ask them and they will tell you the best places to keep the party going. If you are not the kinda party person then don't worry...the music is not loud at all and they close the bar early so they will not disturb your sleep.

Very hospitable host who cared about her guests. I booked for 3 nights at the place. Unfortunately I could not arrive at the first day but did not inform the host. So the host contacted agoda to ask my whereabouts because she was afraid I could not find the place. It was a really heart-warming act! Then about the room, decent and home-like with a nice balcony overlooking the sea. Location of this place is perfect for me. It is neither in the city nor next to the road. It is tucked away with 10 min drive by tricycle and has a small strip of beach. You would find tranquility and comfort listening to the sound of waves everyday without music blasting from afar. But you need not worry about the transportation because there is always a tricycle awaiting at the front door. They also offer island tours that pick you up directly outside the house. For the price same as other tours, you get a more private one indeed. They can also prepare seafood meals for you at lower prices than that offered by the town. I had three delicious crabs, all juicy and fleshy, one night for php350 only! Anyways, the host is very nice and has good command of english, you can ask her about anything. Although I have a short stay at the place, the time was very enjoyable.

PROS Room is clean and air conditioned / Staff (Owner) is amazing .. she was probably the main reason we extended after finding the location a little difficult Breakfast (omelette and coffee) Scooters are available (old and worn - you will understand why when you see the roads haha) THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS OF REPAIRING THE POOL SO WAS UNAVAILABLE UNFORTUNATELY - THE OWNER DID TELL ME IT WOULD BE FINISHED AROUND THE MIDDLE OF 2019 (THEY ARE ALSO BUILDING A RESTAURANT AND GAMES ROOM) - So a lot of good things to come I feel CONS I was aware from reviews that this place was a little "out of the way" however, understand that this hotel is located deep in a village off the main road and the tracks leading to the hotel are very poor (deep holes/dust/loose gravel and sand) so ensure you are comfortable with this kind of terrain on a scooter or get your walking shoes out and a flashlight as there is no light what so ever. All in all.. I would recommend and I would stay again
