we had an awesome experience during our overnight stay at this hotel.. hotel staff were approachable and polite.. our (family) room was spacious/conducive, well designed and has complete facilities..buffet breakfast was excellent.. but the best part is the uncovered/open pool on top of the hotel bldg.. we truly enjoyed our night swimming underneath the sky full of stars! very relaxing spot of the hotel premise indeed! good spot for star gazing enthusiasts! there is also a mini bar and glass covered gym beside the pool..and a lot more amenities being offered by the hotel! great value for money! :) -vanillasky1986

Overall we were very satisfied. Downside is that the wifi connection in room 319 was super poor. I even need to go out in the corridor to connect but it was fast though once you're connected. Anyway, we love the place as per the staff's efficiency,they can help you with anything and they have their own travel agency located just one floor down which can help you book all the tours that you're interested without any additional charge(plus factor). About the location it's near two bar&grill restos so it was noisy at night but we don't mind at all,we love their performance anyway. It is also walking distance from all fast food chains(McDonalds, Jollibee, Chowkinf, HapChan,etc.) walking distance to Banco De Oro,Maybank,Etc.. There's no gym in the hotel but if you want to get fit there's a super cheap gym which was a tricycle ride away for only 30pesos. I forgot to mention that it was just walking distance,around 5-8mins walk, from the best Ka Lui and Kinabuch restaurant, you should go there and staffs can help you book at Ka Lui(they require reservation). Across the street is the famous Balinsasayaw,good food as well but lots of mosquitoes and poor customer service. Overall we loved the place and would stay there again for next visit.

I had a marvelous time at Microtel in Puerto Princesa. I liked the property because while it is the only hotel relatively close to the city that has access to the beach & the ocean. True that because of the low tide, the beach (with mangroves on the side) becomes a long stretch to walk before you get to the sea. But it was nonetheless a great view! The water usually reaches the edge (closest to the hotel) at nighttime. Water retreats again at daytime. The property is also close enough to the city center (with free shuttle services for the guests - the drivers are very efficient. Guests are also given their contact numbers just in case you need to give them any additional information. Guests may also request a particular pick up or drop off point in the city). I liked the room with 2 queen beds! The beds were very, very comfortable. The AC was working perfectly well! And the bathroom was not bad. The staff are generally friendly and nice. The pool was a good place to get a tan & there are a good number of lounge chairs. The restaurant is open until 9pm & they have grills for dinner. Free coffee, tea, water and wifi at the lobby. And there are enough couches, chairs & tables for everybody. The hotel was full when we went there but it didn't feel like it because perhaps the guests had different itineraries, and only a controlled number of guests are left using the facilities at any given time. The other guests are also generally friendly. The hotel sells postcards (P5 more expensive than in the city), but the hotel can also mail the postcards for you for a fee of P25 per postcard (on top of the postcard's cost). I found the housekeeping staff nicest, followed by restaurant & front desk on the second spot. The front desk clerks are very pretty and they seem to know each guest's room & requests. Security guards are very visible as well. Best of all, I loved the fact that the hotel is very, very peaceful, both daytime & nighttime, away from the busy city center.

It's no wonder why tourists were all trying to secure a room daily--the Best Western easily trumps other options in the heart of Puerto Princesa. While older and bigger resort accommodations offer beach-side views and plenty of activities, the IvyWall is in a league of its own whether you're a leisure-seeker or a business traveler. The hotel is literally just a few minutes away from the city's top restaurants. The airport is a five-minute drive. Trike options wait for you outside and tour services are available with third-party travel agencies partnering with the hotel. There are caveats though like a small pool and a limited menu. The breakfast buffet is superb and we heard it's the best in the area. It's one of the newest hotels so expect that you may have to remind the front desk of a few things. They got confused with our tour schedules but they were quickly fixed in our favor. The security guards area always ready to answer your question regarding tourist spots and restaurants. Overall the hotel offers great value for everyone.

Our stay was very nice. It was our 2nd time using this hotel in 2 years and it has yet to fail us. I particularly recommend the European/Asian chicken fusion dish from the hotel menu...great taste!! Try to book in advance a trip to the Underground River/ Sabang beach area. Try the zip line across the ocean from the jungle top. I also recommend the Honda Bay tour...they will take you to some unforgettable islands.

this is a very nice hotel and the rooms are very big. the towels, sheets and amenities were all great. they also have a shuttle to and from the airport which made it a easy stay. it is also next to a supermarket. we did not have a room with a bay view but i bet those are worth we stayed here for one night on our way to sabang. sabang is the area about two hours van ride from puerta where the underground river and nice beaches are located. puerta princessa is a nice place but i am not sure why anyone would stay there more than one night.

from check-in customer service was great. felt like the only guest in the hotel. dropped the bags off and asked if there were any tours/activities we could do that day. booked a 'city tour' for 1:30 pm, but since we were ready to go (11am), they asked us if we wanted to just go right away and have some lunch on the tour. also booked us on the shuttle to sabang, saving us pesos (that would have been profit for them). would recommend this hotel for anyone (unless you want a beach, in which case you're gonna want to stay at microtel)

We were in Puerto Princesa during the worst possible weather with 2 tropical storms within the week. Nevertheless, we felt absolutely comfortable and safe in the hotel. The staff were well-trained, the rooms were well-furnished and comfy, and the best part was when parts of town had no electricity, ours kept going despite several blackouts (we were sleeping anyway so no issue). The aircon kept going and it honestly didn't feel like there was a storm raging outside. Kudos to the wonderful restaurant staff who kept us fed, caffeinated and happy every morning. Special mention to May, a staff from the breakfast service during our stay. She was so pleasant and smiley, even taking time to greet us by our names. It was definitely a wonderful stay, and I would recommend Canvas to anybody who wants to visit Puerto Princesa.

We booked this stay last min only cause our flight got cancelled. But as soon as we were greeted by the hotel manager, we knew we made the right choice. I cannot rave enough about the staff. They seem really dedicated to making your stay a 5-star experience. We would especially like to commend the 3 ladies we encountered at the front desk and a waiter, Jan Carl. They took such great care of us, arranging tour, tricycle rides etc. They even threw a cosy new year party with snacks and sparklers. We watched fireworks altogether, it was magical. Room was well-furnished, very clean with comfortable beds and shower with hot water. Breakfast was a decent spread. Food and drinks at the restaurant are reasonably priced. The Filipino options are good. Location is not ideal but everywhere is a short tricycle ride away that won’t cost more than 100 php. We checked out at 5am and a tricycle was alr waiting. They even packed food and water for us to take along. We wish we could've stayed longer!

We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Centro because it is near the Robinson's Mall and it is easy to get a tricycle accredited by the Hotel which we rode going to Baker's Hill and Mitra's ranch. We were also able to observe Holy Thursday and Friday by joining the Visita Iglesia and Pilgrimage Tour which the Hotel arranged for the guests. The service van was a Toyota Grandia which made our tour very convenient. Even when it drizzled a little, our tour guide provided us with umbrellas during our Visita Iglesia. We were given enough time to explore the place. The Hotel is also just a walking distance away from the Robinson's mall. The hotel is also accessible to Baywalk park and souvenir shops. The Hotel has a small souvenir shop, a gym and spa although we did not avail of its service so much. The breakfast buffet is good although there is not much variety in the food choices. The hotel is clean and modern for a provincial location. The water in the Hotel's pool is warm at all times so it's relaxing to dip your tired feet after a day's tour or early in the morning to catch the morning sun. If you are a beach lover, then Hotel Centro may not be that interesting for you because it is situated at the heart of the city. But the Hotel can arrange for you an island hopping tour in El Nido if you want to experience the beach and island sight seeing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Hotel Centro.

Best accommodation we've stayed so far staying in Palawan, from Puerto to El Nido back to Puerto again! Airport Transfer - Very Good! Right away they are there waiting for you. (Kuya the driver was very professional and kind) Front Desk - Excellent! Friendly and smiling staff, offered us the welcome drinks. Just forgot to provide the internet password but it's fine. Room - Very Good! (Hotel is just currently having a renovation with the new building so just bare with the not so good entrance going to the elevator) Room was very tidy, very good smelling since I am pregnant so was perfect for me. Bed was so comfy and neat. Restroom is close to perfection with complete set of toothbrush, toothpaste, combs, shampoos, shower cups, hair dryer, and very clean white towels. Shower was so good, pressure and heater was perfect, only problem was that my New Zealand bf was a little bit huge and he complain about the edge of the sink which was close to the toilet and he got hit on the side. Over all tv was good, AC was perfect and drawers are clean, there was a safe too and the fridge was cool with complimentary coffee, tea, and water just the other 2 bottles cost us 40php thought were free. lol Restaurant- Nah, i don't recommend their food though, just average and not so good with my tastebuds, we ordered bolognese and siomai and tasted just average, i also knew and read from the review the breakfast wasn't so good or just okay and i checked it in the morning as we didn't book with breakfast and yeah, the breakfast wasn't that good when i checked it. I already guessed it since the dinner serving food weren't that we expected it should be; taste was blunt. Pool - It was okay. My partner went to a night swimming alone, and the water was seem calm and okay. I haven't seen any of the guest went to swimming during our 2 nights stay though. Our stay was perfect! We were fetched at the airport by a driver with an air-conditioned van, and brought to the hotel, which is about 10 minutes away (max.!) by car. The moment you roll on the Hotel Fleuris premises, you are immediately happy you booked your stay with them! It is really beautiful, and when you hop out the door, friendly staff is waiting for you, making you forget about your maybe hectic travel. The room is so HUGE and of course has air-conditioning and a beautiful en suite bathroom. The interior of the whole hotel is very modern and "western", if I may say so. Thus, everyone will feel comfortable right away! Breakfast was included for us, so we could choose from a variety of breakfast types, and they always served a fresh juice and water with the food. LOVED IT! There is also a possibility to book your sightseeing tours just next door, and the prices there are fair! Of course, there is also a really nice swimming pool, where you can relax and hang out, if you don't feel like doing a tour or going to the city. Just a minute walk away, you find Rizal Ave, where you have a choice of restaurants (talking about restaurants like Chow King and Jollibee etc., so nothing too high-end!), which is nice for lunch and dinner. However, one should not forget to mention the superb sushi restaurant, which belongs to the hotel complex. They serve big dishes and it tastes really good! The water they serve and use for the welcome drinks is always distilled water, which is pretty nice for Western people! All in all, I can only hope for this hotel to reach the evaluation "Fantastic", because that is what they deserve! I have travelled a lot all over Asia, coming to the Philippines i wasnt sure what to expect. I stayed at many hotels in Manila that were expensive or poor quality and cheap. Aziza hotel is an inexpensive and very nice property. the staff from manager Alan down to the waiters Mark and John was some of the best experiences i have had. from booking tours, to making sure you had a cold drink in your hand the staff was so accommodating. i didnt just have an experience there. I consider them all my friends and family now. I will go back as often as i can to Aziza hotel. the rooms were very comfortable with nice showers and washroom. views of the garden or pool didnt matter it was nice just to sit in their open air lobby. The night club has different entertainment each night from performers, to comedians with exception local food and traditional bar food. lazer dance floor and locals come so you will have a safe place to be part of the actual culture without leaving the hotel.

Although the hotel rooms do not have windows, or maybe only a few do, the hotel is very modern and comfortable. It looks very close to a 5 star hotel. The amenities are wonderful, you have tee and coffee for free to make in the room, shampoo, soap, dental kit, shaving kit, sewing kit. They have a gym and guarded parking for your motorcycle rental. The restaurant looks really good inside and they have a very cheap all you can eat buffet at roughly 6$ per person. The hotel is very close to malls and other places. However, the lunch-dinner food is horrible. You have so many choices, but honestly everything tastes like fake, like the vegetables are made in the laboratory. The meat is tasteless and the desserts are really really horrible. The breakfast however was okay. Also all you can eat buffet, but no cheese. They have an egg station, which is really cool. We tried to go to the bar, we asked the guy for some drinks but said he does not work in the bar and ran away. Then there was nobody else there for service. As the music was really bad, we left.. The restaurant staff and also all the other staff are very kind and courteous. They are undergoing construction work, but you don’t actually feel it. Wi-fi is good! Overall good experience!

There were 5 of us that stayed in this hotel. The price was very cheap for 4 beds. We really liked the place- it was very nice, clean, friendly staff, and nice pool. It's still pretty new, so everything was clean. The only thing that some people might not like about this place is that it is not within walking distance to eating areas, but it is not difficult to get a ride. The hotel hailed a taxi and tricycle for us while we were there. The breakfast was decent, but don't expect a 5 star breakfast.I would stay at this place again. It's nice and quiet. The bar is right by the pool, which was nice.

We fell in love with the place as soon as we got there. The entire inn exudes quaint charm, happiness and relaxation. The family loft room is very spacious and my son loved the loft area. Beds are also of good quality, there's enough pillows for everyone (important for us since we can't sleep with at least 2 pillows each!), the room qas so colorful yet still pleasing and relaxing to the eye. The entire groumds area is also very clean and well landscaped. Loved the chirping of the birds greeting you in the morning. We also love the location since its away from the busy streets of Puerto yet still near enough the restos, pristone beach and the malls if you ever need to buy something. Lastly, I wouls like to commend and thank the wonderful staff. They're always helpful, smiling, courteous and informative. Will definitely book here again on our next Puerto Princesa trip

My stay in this hotel was quite unplanned as i had just come from El Nido and needed a place to stay overnight before my flight back home. I was searching accdg to location (near the airport) and found this place. I didn't book at first and went to the hotel w/o a booking. So instead of booking direct with them, they let me use Agoda. Told them i wanted the points. It's a small quite place very near the airport and most of downtown Puerto Princesa so the location was very much a plus. They give you breakfast (plated) with not much choices but again because of the price then it's quite a good deal. The room is quite clean and pretty big. They have a small TV with good cable choices so that's fine too. Airconditioning works fine. No hot water but then that's ok for the price. The place may be old but if it's kept clean then that should not be a problem. All in all a good deal.

Our first choice hotel did not met our requirement so we roam around Puerto and saw Fersal. Our priority was to find a place that has an excellent internet connection (its for our work). The front desk was really accommodating, they allowed us to test the connection in one of the rooms first before we settled to book for 3 days. They also suggested to book online if we want to save some money. The room was spacious and clean, however, a bidet would be really useful. Our room was located near the elevator and the water dispenser (used for the complimentary drinks). With regards to the internet connection, we are Globe users and the connection using mobile data was around 6Mbps to 7Mbps while their WiFi connection was playing around 5Mbps to 6Mbps. Breakfast buffet never fail to impress us, the only suggestion I have is to serve real fruit juices instead of powdered ones. We also used their laundry service, which at first, encountered some issues. The house keeping picked up our clothes on Thursday afternoon and was sent back the following day. Turns out that the laundry is not being done at the hotel but by an outside company (I think the name of the laundry company is "Lily's" but I'm not sure). All of our white clothes turned into pink! Maybe they forgot to separate the clothes? I can only guess! I called the front desk and advise them of the situation, a few minutes later, the General Manager called and apologies for what had happened. The laundry service did correct the issue and hopefully no one will ever experience what we've had to go through. :) All in all, this is an exceptional hotel.

I knew I made the right choice when I booked with Marianne Hotel for my first ever solo travel. Since I am a bit anxious about my safety, I chose to have all the conveniences I could get and they did not disappoint me. From my online query up to my check out at the hotel, they have assisted me. Judy answered all my queries and has been really helpful. The staff at the hotel were courteous, friendly and nice. My safety was my primary concern and I didn't have to worry about it. I had a few personal needs that I didn't get but they weren't a big deal (like availability of meds, and wake up call - but I thought those were just extra miles they could provide their guests). The hotel was really nice and peaceful. If I will go back to Puerto Princesa, I would choose them again but I will make sure to bring my sister and my friends with me so it'll be more fun. Pool was available for use 24/7 which was just wonderful. You can swim just before going to bed. The buffet breakfast was great too it can keep you satisfied until your next meal. The hotel dont replace soap, shampoo, water and dental kit on a daily basis unlike other hotels but you can request for this so this wont be a problem. Huge beds. Coffee/Tea making facilities is not available. You can request for the water heater pot and just buy 3-in-1 sachets. Great service too. Staff are courteous. They come at your door within minutes if you need anything. One of the best in Puerto Princesa. Some tricycle drivers tend to overcharge if they know you stay at Asturias.

This hotel was an excellent find in a tricky market. Very nice, clean and modern rooms with a good shower that had good pressure and was hot when needed. Hotel provided wifi which worked well and a free breakfast which was simple but good. What impressed me the most was how attentive the staff were. I emailed a few days ahead to arrange a tour and they replied quickly and efficiently and I booked all subsequent tours through them. I also was arriving late at night into the new airport and asked them if they knew if it had taxis/trikes etc but to my surprise I turned up with a guy from the hotel and a mini van to give us a private transfer. I was very impressed that they did this for free without me needing to really ask for it. It is in a central location and close to the airport but has been built to give people a calm and quiet atmosphere. The only downside for me is not having a fridge in the room to keep the free bottled water cool but asides from that it was a good stay.

This hotel is good for business travelers (2mins from airport) and as transit point to other destinations in PP. For travelers going to undergroundriver, try to book with beachfront hotels along Sabang beach-- you ll have more time to enjoy the beach. This hotel is in the heart of the city, and you ll need van transpo to visit other destinations. PP is not cheap, van rentals is P3000, so better if you can group yourselves. Food is not cheap too

We are excited to spend a night at this well-reviewed hotel. Our stay became memorable and was beyond our expectation. What makes it so special is the owners' warm hospitality. The staff strive to respond the needs quickly and try to give 5-star service. You feel the warm welcome once you enter the hotel. The owners are always around and make sure our stay is comfortable. It was especially special for us since Mr. Enrico, the owner, knew we were there for our anniversary, he took time to celebrate it with us. We appreciate the special gift from the hotel. Also, it was also nice to talk to Mr. Lito, the co-owner, and hear his life in different country. We were so touched to experience the wonderful "Omotenashi"- professional hospitality provided at personal level. The room was very pretty and specious and thoroughly cleaned. I was happy to work at the balcony desk. The pool and garden view was fantastic! We enjoyed the breakfast and some coffee break at their restaurant.

I booked this hotel ahead of time since I had to budget my expenses. I booked for the shuttle service but I had a difficult time locating the person. I arrived at the hotel and did a fast check in. The room was definitely spacious. There are provisions for your luggage and room for other stuff that you have. The room was also clean and there is a big bed with ready to accept your tired body. Toiletries and tissues are present in the bathroom. Breakfast is awesome - if you have a Filipino taste then you should be good. I also booked my tours in the hotel so you won't have a difficult time dealing with different tour operators. Special thanks to the staff who made my stay great. Until my next visit.
