"This place is really lovely but we went for the beaches and our first question to the manager on duty was where is the best beach, she replied Chewang, the beach we had just spent a half hour in a taxi leaving. The only beach within walking distance is not nice at all, she didn't offer any other options, we rented a scooter but the roads on Koh Samui are crazy, so we checked out early and moved place on a beach. Reviews talked about how great the owners are but they were not around, I'm sure that affected our stay as well. I would check to make sure they are going to be around. Again the rooms are really lovely."

"Fantastic property with overwhelming service and facilities. We had a Apple TV in our room and it was so much fun. Kayaking is offered free which is a great thing to do. Staff is superb! Everyone is looking to see how you can be more comfortable! I recommend that whoever goes to Koh Samui should spend part of their holiday at X2. The samui aquarium is a walk from X2 by the beach. THe 4K restaurant has a great view and even kiteboarding is frequently seen. THe travel time from airport is 45 minutes but totally worth it. Surely would repeat it if i go to Koh Samui Again!"
