Hotels near Starbucks

I booked two superior rooms for a party of four. Prior to checking in at the hotel, I corresponded with the hotel per E-mail to find out whether the supeior rooms had a view of Taal lake. I quickly got a response from Asst. Vice President for Marketing, who graciously answered all my queries. Though the superior rooms only had garden views, offered me an upgrade to a premiere room, which had a Taal lake view, for a nominal fee. I decided, however, to stick to my original booking. Nevertheless, Ms. Fong instructed her staff to block the best superior rooms for my arrival. I checked in late at the hotel, way past the usual 2 p.m. check in time. who was at the front desk at that time, apologized that, despite my late arrival, my rooms were not yet ready for occupancy. To make up for this, immediately ugraded my party to a premiere room. The room with a view !! What more could I ask for. The premiere room, which was located at the east wing of the hotel, was large and had a balcony with a breathtaking view of Taal lake. Complimentary coffee and tea were also offered in the room. For those who can't do without their laptops, the wi-fi signal in the room was strong. The only setback was that the pool was a bit of a way. One had to walk all the way to the west wing where the pool was located. The west wing was also where the superior rooms were located. The evening buffet at the "Café on the Ridge", the hotel restaurant, had a good selection. However, I think the desserts could have been better. All in all a great experience. I'd do it again.

We chose this hotel due to the many good reviews and boy they did not disappoint us. We wanted a quiet getaway for our Anniversary. We booked the twin deluxe room as someone had just booked the last available king room for the same price minutes before we placed our booking. I then wrote to them asking if we could get a king room in case a room becomes available. I also asked if we could have anything to acknowledge our anniversary (just something printed on paper like "happy anniversary"). They responded to my message immediately and said they would try their best to accommodate my request. When we arrived we were welcomed by friendly staff (check in was a breeze) and assisted to our room, I was very pleased to see that we were given a king deluxe room and upon entering the room there was a beautifully printed out happy anniversary behind a plate with chocolate cake (which also had happy anniv. written on it) surrounded by petals. *insert emoji with heart eyes* This just made our stay extra special. We enjoyed our swim in the pool and the spacious overall facility of the Hotel. Breakfast buffet was okay. Would definitely recommend this to my friends and family and surely will be back when we want some time away from the city. Thank you again to the Staff for exceeding our expectations! Keep it up!

one of the best hotels we've been too in tagaytay room is very spacious (we got the premiere after paying for upgrade cost) but the view we got is less than desired my kids, especially my daughter, had a blast playing in the spacious and large playground area and toying around with the animals especially the hens/chickens, ducks owner was even gracious enough to give us the chick of fancy of my daughter bursting with laughter, joy playing with the chicks the staffs are very kind and courteous despite being a little undermanned - they're doing their bests to satisfy the guests very few downsides: 1) treadmill not working- need to replace 2) better if the teambuilding facilities can be restored - so we adults with our older kids can play in these too 3) water warmer for the cold pool 4) hire singer ladies for the acoustic nights 5) a broader selection for the breakfast- i.e. no fish served for the non-meat eaters 6) make the menu prices a little cheaper very little things to point out. we generally enjoyed our stay.

Booked a room through Agoda, and it was so worth it. The staff is excellent - friendly, diligent and committed to giving you wonderful service. The room was very clean and it was quiet. The hotel is at a good location, and even has a starbucks upstairs. We got free starbucks drinks for our stay! We opted not to have the free breakfast since we had other plans, but it sounded very good. They even gave us milk and cookies at night. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, am very happy with my choice. The only thing I would suggest (and this is me nit-picking) is that the free drinks in the fridge be water instead of soda and juice. Just not a fan of too much sugar.

We stayed overnight and I can say that this is the one of the best hotels in Tagaytay because of the location. Overlooking Taal is simply amazing and seeing the sunrise is awesome! Second is convenience because it is just beside Robinson's supermarket and some resto like Giligans, Starbucks, Razon's, Classic Savory, Rai Rai Ken and Hap Chan and 5-10 minute walk from Skyranch. Simply one of the best hotels in Tagaytay!

Pros: - Excellent staff! Very pleasant and courteous. Checking in/out was a breeze! - Super fast wifi - Full equipped kitchen (bowls, plates, water goblets, cups, saucers, knife set, cooking utensils, 4 burner stove & oven, fridge, rice cooker, microwave, kettle & exhaust!) - Place is very secured - Really quiet and peaceful place. The location is great, too! It's just along the highway, about 2-3 mins drive to Ayala mall. - Beds and pillows are of hotel quality. I also love how you get extra pillows! - Room service is cheap! You can also have food delivered which is awesome. - Strong water pressure - Lots of parking space - Huge closet space although we didn't get to use it since we only got to stay overnight since they were fully-booked the next day. Cons: - The gate for checking in/out is different so we had to back-up (road is a bit steep and it's hard to go back to the main street because of the busy traffic). It's best to put a sign outside.

We stayed during the Valentine 2019 weekend (Thursday to Sunday). Our room was described as "lakeview" (Deluxe 2, 2nd floor), and indeed it was but only partially as there were trees that blocked the part of the lake with Taal volcano. The location is convenient in terms of having an unlimited Korean restaurant in the same hotel, a McDonald's in the adjacent lot, and a 7/11 across the McDonald's. Ihawan Republic restaurant is also within walking distance (they have great food). Two things caught my attention the most. First was the cleanliness. I'm practically a diagnostic tool for aircon dust (I ALWAYS sneeze in a room with dirty aircon). Our room never made me sneeze at all! I also walked around barefoot and my feet didn't become dirty (they provided bedroom slippers which I did not wear initially). Second was the very efficient housekeeping team. There were four of them and they made-up our room in about 5 minutes. Overall, I would book this hotel again if there was a promo.

Eco hotel is a compact and eco-friendly made hotel - this is the concept, and i don't see why other reviewers fault them for that very concept. the best thing i liked about this hotel is the modern eco architecture, design and rooms. the rooftop and lake view rooms offer a great view of the lake since they are located at the ridge (we stayed at room#12 on the second floor which is a lakeview room). second best think i liked is the convenient location - restaurants on both of it's sides; Pamana restaurant on one side (for average to high budget) and Bradley's bulalo on the other side (average to low budget). in front of them is Ayala Serin (there's more restaurants and grocery store where you can get more than the essentials). since they do not serve breakfast (only basic bread, jam and coffee), may i suggest to do food shopping the night before at Ayala mall (they have boulangeries there like the french baker where you can get nice selection of breads) and some fruit, milk, cheese and juice at the grocery - the food will keep in the room since it's pretty chilly in Tagaytay. Ecohotel has a toaster in their breakfast nook for heating, and they provide utensils, plates and glasses (even for your wine! so you can bring in wine too) for dining. there is also a h/c drinking water dispenser. I ordered coffee - Php80; it was a great barako blend and machine pressed (you can choose mild/standard/strong) but we also had the "complimentary" coffee the next day in the morning (served 7-10am) - it was very watery - I do not know if the staff just does not know how to work the machine or used leftover coffee beans from the day before / or if that's really intended. along with a non-working soap dispenser at the shower, that's the only minor things we can fault about our stay. but overall, a cool and amazing hotel which we are happy to recommend and stay at again for sure!

Pros: Very Affordable. Clean beds and pillows, clean bathroom. Good working A/C. Starbucks is within walking distance. Japanese Restau was just outside the hotel. With Campfire Grill at the top floor of the hotel where you can order your food via call and have it delivered at your room. Staffs were very accomodating and the best part was that we were allowed to check in early at 12nn instead of 3pm. :) Highly recommended if you're just looking for a quiet, clean and yet affordable place to rest after roaming around Tagaytay. Cons: Just found that there were water drippings along the stairways which I found a little bit unsafe when going up and down. (may be from rain. idont know where it came from) But wont stop me from staying there again. Cheers!

This time we looked for a place away from the main highway so we can get away with the human and car traffic, and I guess we just hit the jackpot. This place is the best place to be- not far from restaurants, parallel to skyranch (you can actually see the ferris wheel from the balcony), just a ride away from the places you want to be, near mahogany market for the freshest harvest, and of course, Tagaytay's bulalo. And location is just the icing. We were welcomed by the best staff who assisted us and let us check in quite early because we came in at around 9am. And when we got into our room, we were greeted by the sweetest clean smell. it's as if you're in a 5-star hotel. And the linens? Best linens I have to say. Though you need to be extra careful not to soil the linens because they might have to charge you. The restaurant downstairs offers a number of choices for your free breakfast. They also have the best crew who caters to our requests which sometimes are not in their menu. They have karaoke for wednesdays and thursdays, and live bands on fridays and saturdays. But since it we were there during the Holy Week, they showed Christian films instead. Overall, it was one of the best places we've been too, if not the best. Miss Anne, was the most accommodating. :) Thank you.

With all the negative reviews I have read about the hotel here on tripadvsior, I almost thought of not choosing this hotel. But since there are still some good reviews, I decided to give it a try. And contrary to what others are saying about the hotel, its more than what i expected. Yes, I think the hotel needs a little upgrade and renovation on the entire property, but even so, the hotel is okay and still a good choice especially if you are always out. Days Hotel’s plus factors are its location, view, spacious and clean rooms, comfortable stay, swimming pool, parking area, great services - all for an affordable price. Our room even had a balcony where you can stay while enjoying a great view and nice conversation esp at night. Booked a superior room via Agoda with free breakfast. But the breakfast of the hotel is a Set Breakfast only. They say, they only serve a buffet when they have many bookings. Fortunately, they have many guests as today is a holiday and so we experienced their buffet. Honestly, this is their down side, their restaurant. The food selections are very few. This is where we got a bit disappointed. Steamed and garlic rice plus longganisa, tuyo, adobo and ampalaya were only the food on the buffet with an Egg station. Plus, they have only wheat and ordinary bread with 1 Jam and Butter. Whether Set or Buffet, might as well not avail it anymore. And opt for a great breakfast outside instead. For the wifi, it is fast but is only available on the lobby for free. Over-all, if you are looking for a secured parking on a great location, with spacious and comfortable rooms plus a swimming pool, then the hotel is recommended for an affordable price - minus the breakfast. :)

Me and my wife with our 8-month old kid had generally great stay in the 2-bedroom suite. The rooms were clean, including the bathrooms. The quality of finish of the rooms were comparable to larger 4-star hotels. Things for improvement: 1. Keycard mechanism on door is low on battery. So had to manually open the door using door key instead of tapping the keycard. 2. Disposable sleepers in the rooms were not supplied readily. Had to ask from the staff. 3. We booked a 2-day stay but the electrical power was automatically turned off at 12:30 PM. Had to report to front desk if there was brownout. Staff said she has to program the keycard to turn the power on for our 2nd day stay. 4. There's only ample parking for 11 cars. If you come back to your hotel i.e. after a late night coffee at Starbucks, you'll have to park at their gated basement. 5. The suite had a balcony but had no view.

We went to for Valentine get-away, and I must say it turned to be one of the best Valentines. Check-in was prompt, and the staff was super friendly and attentive from the first till the last moment of our stay. Every request was answered "yes" and delivered quickly. Things to like about hotel: unique design that makes the experience special; great staff; 30 min massage we got for free; large and tasty breakfast; WiFi in the rooms and the lobby; relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking for a nice weekend with your significant other, choose Theodore - you won't regret! A tip: if you want to have a nice dinner, I'd suggest to go 50m down the road to Pamana - that's a great Filipino restaurant, nicely designed and with tasty food

The place was perfect. Location is right beside where the action is. Room is very clean, new and neat. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is relatively cheap as well considering we booked one night before the trip. Staffs are also available when I have to call them during midnight. The ONLY concern possible concern though is the bathroom. It is a bit see through but the shower area is completely covered. If this is not a problem, then this hotel is one of the best choices in Tagaytay

We were assigned 2 rooms on the 15th floor where the view is really nice. Both hotel rooms are reasonably priced because they look new, very clean, with clean bed sheets, with basic amenities, with TV, and best of all, the staff are very courteous! I would like to book again in this hotel next time. The hotel is very near Ayala Malls Serin and some restaurants. My 3 grand children enjoyed our overnight stay here.

This hotel is actually a good one. The location is a bit far in the tagaytay proper but manageable with the jeepneys along the way min. fare only. This hotel can help you travel leaving your car in the hotel because the traffic is really terrible in the tourist area and also hard to find parking. The parking is yours below your room with your own garage gate. You will need to walk from the jeepney stop to the hotel and not a problem at all bec. it is also exercise. The pool is the gem of this hotel open until 11pm, good one for you to relax after a long tiring tour. Downside is that our CR's door lock is broken it cannot be locked. I did not complain with the hotel so not a problem at all. I'll book again here next time.

This Is a very Quiet Away from the Noise in the City Center. You have a Great View of the Surrounding Land that the Q Hotel Is On. The Rooms Are very Clean and the Staff Is very Welcoming; Kind and Caring about You and Your Desires. If You Selectbtge Correct Booking; it also Includes Breakfast and they Will Do the Best to Accomadate You for Special Things to Eat or Drink if Possible. You Can also Earn Miles for Your Frequent Mikes via your Airlines that You Use. The Room Was very Clean and the Staff Was Excellent. I Highly Recommend the Q Hotel. It's Worth the Price.

a bit expensive. breakfast was awesome. staff also awesome. the hotel is it self but then surrounded by some of the best clubs and restaurants in the area. WITH A VIEW from the common areal. The The views are awesome views to the lake and the party clubs and people were great. our room had 5 beds........kids loved the t.v. and facilities..........VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND...AND ITS A 10 MIN WALK,,,YES WALK TO SKY RANCH.........THE weather is a bit cool here because of being on a mountain but the VIEW IS AWESOME.!!! Just wear jeans or pants and a light jacket.......recommend ....it does get windy...........HAVE A BLAST HERE........BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME...not cheap...............STAFF ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD.!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a great vacation stop over in Tagaytay at Aspen in Wind. The location was perfect, the top floor in the tallest building in Tagaytay directly overlooking Taal lake and volcano so an amazing view of the lake and mountains from the balcony. Everything you need is either on-site - 7-11, Pizza Hut a European cafe/deli, a Taiwanese cafe, a bank a laundry and even a hardware store! a short walk up the hill you have Starbucks and a supermarket. Jerrys Grill is across the road and a short walk down the hill offers loads of other restaurants. Jeepneys stop just outside the site so it is easy to get out and about if you don't want to walk. We took a motor tricycle to the boat pier to get to the volcano which was great fun. The apartment is great very bright and clean and everything is brand new. We had no problems with the water heater which is easy to adjust as is the air-con and digital microwave. We are from CA but not tech gurus but you don't need a degree in rocket science to operate anything in the apartment and Miss Letty shows you how to operate everything on arrival. If you do like your tech toys this place has a great Smart TV with strong internet and a variety of cable channels such as HBO for movies. We used our Netflix account. It also has international adapters. If you are on the large side you may find it small for two people but we would say we are a normal size US couple and as we travel in Asia often we are not shocked by a 36 Sqm condo. The site has indoor and outdoor pools, darts, pool table, badminton, tennis and basketball courts. There is a small charge to use them but its no big deal. The facilities are there if you want to use them but in Tagaytay you come for the views and the breeze both of which are amazing. We just chilled on the balcony all day. Waking up to be surrounded by mist and watching the clouds lift to reveal the lake and volcano for us was a unique experience.

I booked the Jasmin room, and it is really tidy and spacious, looks better in person than in the pictures. Extra pillow and blanket were provided for free. Breakfast from Sinangag Express is also provided, which is just beside the hotel. The hotel’s 3rd floor has 2 rooms (Irish and Jasmin- where we stayed), these are fronting the main road that is why noises from vehicles, etc. can be heard. I suggest you request for a room on the 2nd floor (they have 6) - not fronting directly at the main road. Also, eating inside the room is not suggested, drop a tiny piece of food and you’ll see a parade of ants in just a few minutes, ants were so fast that i had to put our trash bin outside the room. Staffs were very friendly and accomodating, though rooms doesn’t have refrigerator, they offered us to use their ref at the lobby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel, i just hope they fix the problem with the ants, maybe book a pest and control service =)

there are a lot of good things about this place but i'll start first with the cons. there's a swimming pool but it's unusable specially on a january when it's very very cold. our room was on the 4th floor and it was a little tiring to walk to the stairs everytime you have to go somewhere, image those who would be assigned on the 5th flr. there was a construction on-going at the back part of the hotel, and they still assigned people beside the construction, it was a little noisy, but from a hotel, you try to expect to get the relaxation you need. for the good parts, all employees are approachable and willing to help. the hotel is just a few meters from the city proper and there are a lot of public transpo for trips to other places. the room is nice, the bathroom is clean, the whole place is clean, the view was good (although it was at the wrong side of tagaytay), the food was adequate and there are ample facilities. if you ask me if i'd go back? yes! the cons are heavily outweighed by the pros. the bad stuff are mostly small things i can do without.

We booked the Superior package for 3 days, 2 nights. We arrived an hour or two after check-in time and they were perfectly fine with it. The room, though with no view (and perfectly understandable for the package), was perfect. Spacious, with TV, cold aircondition, and quiet. The bathroom was a bit compact but who needs a big one, it's a bathroom! However, the bathroom floor drainage need some fixing by lowering it deeper so the water will naturally flow to it. Other than that, it's all fine, with a set of towels, shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste. The breakfast area was a blast. You have a good view of Taal lake and the volcanoes in it. Even with the sunlight in, you won't feel the heat because of the cool weather. Unlimited drinks and a good selection of Filipino dishes. It was so good (2 breakfasts) that before we left, we ate our lunch there too, affordable price. Friendly staff, although they were not that familiar with the places you can visit, they heard of it, yes, so I'll give it that they're not good with distances (like I do). They also have an event area outside the hotel building itself. A good place to exercise in the morning, take photos, and all. If we'll visit Tagaytay again, they're at the top of our list.

Total waste of money and time. should stay instead to other hotel in Tagaytay.. Dirty and smelly room (#5). Overused and dirty beddings/sheets and Towels. when we enter our room there's two used towels hanging inside the cabinet. No slippers and even a chair provided inside the room. Only saving grace - the good mannered staff and dining crew. Overall, this a total rip-off and NOT coming back or recommending this to visitors in Tagaytay. Lesson/s: Dont rely to the pics here in Agoda and wonder why theres 2 comments only for this hotel. There are many good/best hotels in this area.

Hotel Aroha has the same facilities as other 3-star hotels. What sets it apart is their attentive staff. They anticipated our needs and went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable during our stay. Some areas for improvement: 1) Wifi signal keeps dropping out, even though our room was near the router 2) Hair dryer is not included in the amenities Overall, the experience was great. We'll definitely come back next time.

The main thing that this place has is the magnificent stunning view of the Taal, so make sure to book the rooms that offer the view. Still, the lobby garden and the breakfast lounge both gives an excellent view of it if you're booked in rooms with no view. During our weekend stay, I must say the breakfast selection was wide and great. We booked the deluxe view and we are totally digging the air purifier in every room. The bathroom is made complete with a shower area, bathtub, toilet and sink, but the best thing if you have kids is you can turn up the blinds from the bathtub area and just look after your kids bathing while lying on the bed next to the bathroom glass panel. This glass panel makes it look like your in an aquarium! Last to mention is the kind thought of booking my room in front of the kid's play area since it was noted that I will be travelling with little kids. The check in/out process was quick. Although, I find the 3k cash security deposit too big for a local hotel.
