It was my second time at COSI Samui and i really like the whole concept of the COSI Hotels. Of course you cannot expect Seaview or a nice breakfast buffet. The location of COSI is perfect hidden behind Central Festival, access to beach is easy by walking. Reception is open 24hours, so if you need to book a Taxi, Check in late or need anything else, they're super friendly and help you anytime. Keep in mind you need to ask for hairdryer at the reception if you need one. : ) I can recommend this hotel to couples, friends and solo travellers if you want some new modern and clean hotel. It's not the cheapest, but it's brand new without any flaws. It's the perfect hotel after a long flight from another country for the first nights in Thailand. : )

The hotel is centrally located just on Chaweng beach. The staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast is poor, not many choices and average quality. Food in the hotel is quite expensive, but one can easily go out to the neighboring streets for great food with less money. The pool is a highlight. It is very big and few people. But in the same time, there is almost no public space in the hotel, because the pool and the pool-access rooms basically occupy all public space. One can only go to the end of the pool or the beach. In general the hotel worth its money we spent. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here during low season and got the room for under 30 bucks. Booked their cheapest room (Superior Studio) which is actually in another building, much older but got a free upgrade to the deluxe studio room. If you are staying here during low season they close the old building and upgrade everyone to the newer building. So save yourself some money and book their cheapest room. The bed is comfortable, nice large flat screen TV in the room with a decent channel line-up (something for almost everyone), strong aircon, small balcony for having a cig but no furniture. Decent bathroom with daily toiletries provided and two bottles of water. The swimming pool is huge and a bunch of loungers around the pool. The major downside is their is no free WIFI in the room and you have to go to the lobby for free WIFI. Fortunately we are on the second floor and are picking up the signal in our room which is very sweet. You can purchase a WIFI card at the front desk for an outrageous amount of baht if you want too but it is a real rip off...WIFI should be like oxygen...Free. Great location near Chaweng Beach, less than 10 minutes to the beach and you can cut through the Centara Grand Hotel or walk another short block and access the beach down a sandy lane, less than 5 minutes to 7-11. The hotel is off the main street and is very quiet. I would definitely stay here again as the room represents pretty good value given the free upgrade. Best price is on Agoda, their walkup and internet rates are laughable at best.

OZO is a great property on great beach in Samui. It's not going to wow you with excellent design or excellent food, but it does what it does very well. We booked at the OZO because it was centrally located in the shopping area and on the beach, plus it's just a 10 minute taxi to the airport. We only did one night, but we could have easily done 3 or 4. The rooms are very modern, which is cool but I would generally prefer something a bit more Thai. OZO could be a hotel on any beach anywhere in the world, nothing about this place says "I'm in Thailand." But it is very clean, very safe. They do a good job taking care of this property, it's a great place to relax. The pool is maybe one of the best in the area. It's massive, very stylish and has a lot of people frollicking about. The beach at OZO is really outstanding. The sand on Samui is even softer than the sand on Tao and Phangan, even softer than the sand at Koh Phi Phi. Ozo has lots of beach chairs about, it would be an excellent place to grab a book and a Singha and straight post up for the entire day. The location nearby is great. Tons of restaurants and places to shop. We really recommend this place!

Pros - new, very clean rooms and bathrooms - great location in the middle of Chaweng - nice swimming pool and lovely beach - great if you are looking to party with a group of friends - hotel manager ( a lovely girl )reception staff and cleaners very helpfull and friendly Cons - very loud in the evenings - people are partying in the rooms and hotel staff doesnt do anything about it so if you are looking for some quiet time you will not find it there - restaurant staff speaks very little english so its a challange to order anything - lots of mistakes due to language barrier - don’t get breakfast there if you are not looking to eat noodles and chinese food for breakfast - plenty better places around serving also european breakfast - if you are traveling with young kids DO NOT book this hotel - they will not be able to sleep during the night - hotel full of people from China and Israel so if you are looking for more european place and relax you wont find it there

The service is very nice, I would give it 10/10. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked Deluxe and got upgrade to Premier Room. The room was very big with DVD player. You can get movie from the market and watch it in your room. It is located in the North of Chaweng, can walk to Central for 5 mins. Hotel has free shuttle bus 3 times a day, only from Hotel to Central. Or you can walk along the beach, it will take about the same. There are many beach restaurants with fire show. The drinks were a little expensive but try to go there on Happy Hour, which is normally last until 9 PM. You can get good deal for THB 100 cocktail or THB 50 local beer. Hotel also provides a very good break as well. This is suitable for all travelers.

Having eventually found the hotel, as there are no signs indicating its location from the main road I can only say how much I enjoyed my stay. I have been coming to Thailand every year for the past 8 years and stayed on Samui on 3 of those occasions and I must say that my stay at the Samui First Hotel has been the best. The hotel was for a 3-star hotel excellent, location for the beach also excellent,(although hotel a little further from the main part of town than I would have preferred) but I cannot fault the service of your staff which was always polite and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and will highly recommend it to all my friends in the U.K.

This hotel is located about 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Chaweng so do not book this imagining you'll be right in the thick of the action. Having said this, there are still plenty of bars and restaurants close to the hotel to save you having to trapse all the way into the busy centre. The hotel is excellently presented with the rooms, grounds and service well above what we expected for the price. The small yet pretty pool is a great feature but there is a shortage of sunbeds so get down there early to avoid the standard German bed reservation antics. Overall this is definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Thailand and the bed was gargantuan!

we booked the fx as a base to find a good hotel south of chaweng. we were so impressed with the fx we could have stayed longer and may well return. the staff were so helpful. the rooms are spacious, clean, good showers. i think the only thing i could say against them is that the corridors and carpeting could do with a little tlc. it was the only thing that would be ofputting. we would certainly stay again. i had the best pancakes for breakfast - freshly made.

I extended my stay in Kohsamuii 3 times. One reason was the nice Ploen Hotel it made me feel home and there I could find again the famous smile of Thailand, what is gone in most places. Everything was just perfect. The location, the size room with Kitchenette, all modern designed and in exelent, clean shape. The rates are reasonable, but check them everyday before you book, because they are going up and down every day starting with 35 US up to 100 US. If you booked already and you check on your Agoda App and find out the rate dropped for the same room and the same dates, contract Agoda and with their low price guarantee, they adjust your rate to the posted rate and send you a refund. A bit of work, but you can save up to 50% from the rate you already paid. Overall the hotel offers 5 Star rooms, better than all 4-5 Stars hotels I stayed before, where I paid 5 times mo

My boyfriend and I booked the Lotus Hotel for 3 days then another 5 days after a short trip to Koh Phangan. We love this Hotel. It's perfect for the rates offered and location! Rooms: Beds were quite comfortable considering most beds in Asia are like sleeping on cardboard. We loved the fridges in the room so we could stock up on snacks and cold drinks from the local markets. This hotel is located on the main street into Chaweng. It's close enough to all the action but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Just across the street from the beach was perfect for our morning runs. We rented a scooter from the hotel and it was perfect for exploring the island and costs almost nothing to fuel. Breakfast was free every morning. I was craving whole wheat toast (as opposed to the white bread you find everywhere) and the staff went out to buy some for me. We didn't actually eat at the hotel restaurant (as we liked to hit up the markets and buy most of our own food) but from what I saw it looked great! There is minimal amenities; a pool table and wifi but who needs a swimming pool when the beautiful blue ocean lies just steps away. We prefer getting out and exploring the beaches and waterfalls on the Island so we spent very little time at the hotel anyway. We did love chilling out in the lobby while we waited for the evening to start. The staff are what made this hotel stand-out. The owners Ryan and his brother have picked a wonderful staff to assist. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We went out one night with Ryan and his friend and he showed us how they like party in their home country, Turkey.... I've stayed at the Chaweng Budget Hotel now a few times during my many years of visiting Koh Samui. I've shopped around for various other hotels over the years, but I always seem to find myself wanting to come back to the Chaweng Budget Hotel. For one thing, the hotel is in a good location. South Chaweng is, to my mind, the best part of Chaweng Beach. You get away from the crowds and the noise, and yet you can get down to the busy strip easily enough if you want to. The beach itself is also much better for swimming at this end, and it's generally just a nicer area overall. The staff at the Chaweng Budget Hotel are always friendly. Each time I stay, it feels like coming home. The rooms are clean and well-attended, and they still offer one of the best breakfasts on the entire strip for this kind of money. Plus, you get to use the health and pool facilities of its sister hotel. All in all, it's hard to beat the Chaweng Budget Hotel for this kind of money.

We stayed only one night 2 rooms at Pandora, Mr Ilari is a very nice person being very helpful and show us everything in the hotel. We rent 2 bikes with Pandora to explore the island. Very convenient. Staff at Pandora is very accommodating, my boys love the breakfast serve at Pandora. Their comment on our overall 6 days hotel stay in Koh Samui Pandora is the best. Highly recommended ...

Booked this hotel for e last two nights of my holiday in Bangkok. Was pleasantly surprised about the standard of the rooms. Spacious, modern and luxurious. The best part was the friendly staff at the reception and restaurant. Always greeting you with the most cincere Sawadee and smile and being utmost helpfull when needed. The Kawh soi is a speciality from the North which I can recommend at the restaurant. Had better and more personal service here than many of the 5 star hotels I stayed at during the same holiday.

We have stayed in koh samui several times, at several different hotels, and this hotel has been the best value for money out of all of them. staff are friendly and helpful, and speak very good english. the complimentary bus into chaweng leaves every half hour, and you can arrange with the driver for a pick-up time. we had an extra bed in our room for my grandson, but still there was plenty of room to spread out clothes, etc. the balcony was larger than average. the pool was excellent and there was an attendant there at all times to serve drinks, which were very quickly served. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as we had a very pleasant stay.

I have been coming to thailand more than 20 times and this is one of the best service and quality for money hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are amazing, the owner is one of the most generous and friendly people you will ever meet, upgrading us for free and constantly discounting meals, making our cooked breakfast at any time of the day as well as taking us to his other businesses in Samui like the cabaret show and discounting everything as well as giving many things for free. The rooms are amazing and new, clean and comfortable beds with great bathrooms, good wifi and a great overall layout. The value for money here is unbelievable

I booked 2 days and ended up staying for 5 in early April. The rooms are big with balconies, I was upstairs. Good wifi and right on the beach. The place is really quiet given that is right in Chaweng. The beach chairs are nice and the staff is friendly. It's inexpensive and pretty basic but they do give you free water, shampoo, body wash and coffee in the room. It's all I needed. The bed was fine but they don't change your sheets, just make up the bed. Not a big deal for me but for some maybe it is. The A/C worked well but I have to say since it's a beach bungalow, I did get a lot of mosquito bites! If you are on a budget and want a place on the beach with access to bars, stay here. I think the best part is walking down the beach at night to all the bars and eating on the beach. Swimming is ok, just shallow water.

Nice big rooms with 2 beds, but you have to walk alot from the lobby till the room, it is kind of deserted and empty, when it came time to Renew my booking they were showing fully booked for the normal room and wanted me to upgrade to the pool access room which was more Expensive, this hotel was deserted saw very few people, but otherwise very nice for 850 baht which I paid

The Chaweng Beach Hotel is a no frills hotel and is a good spot if you are looking for something clean and cheap in Samui. There is no pool and no restaurant. A small breakfast offered, but I went for brekkie at the cafe down the road instead. The staff was really nice and they spoke English well enough that there was no confusion when checking in/out or when I had questions. The room was big and clean, a bit out dated but for the price totally acceptable. Internet is an extra cost and worked well, it's not the greatest but it's certainly not terrible either. They have a security guard at night as do most of the hotels in in the area. There is a taxi stand right outside of the hotel if you need a ride somewhere or back to the airport. The only thing that I found slightly odd was payment with credit card. I ended up booking another 2 nights there and payed directly to the hotel. They made it seem like the credit card machine was not working, but it was as I insisted on paying by credit card. If they ask you to pay cash, or go to the cash machine across the street.. don't. The machine works. I assume they prefer cash rather than paying the credit card fees. Overall, a great experience!

Hotel very good . Room was very comfortable , cozy , bed was very comfortable, has small balcony ( dry swimming suits ) Have good lobby with sofas and 2 computers , flowers etc. Reseption girls speak very well in English , they were very kind and helpful . Hotel has sensor lift . Room , lobby always Fresh and good smell .Breakfast buffet was also good ( juice , fruits 2 types Jam , breads , tea , coffe , milk , corn , flakes etc.Few minutes walk to the best bitch in Samui island . Close to Family market , 7/11 , Tesco. Near so many restaurant and shops( where can eat cheap food) . Hotel located in center Chaweng everything close . Room cleaning did everyday , bed sheet and towel changed everyday . Inside room everyday 2 Botle water . Hot water for tea 24 hours in dining room . We took for first time for one day but then liked so much then continuo living they are for 6 days . I recommend this hotel , I will back this hotel again .

Maybe the outside ihasnot alot of atmosphere but the room is great. The shower is big/fabulous and can get Very very hot. Separate toilet. The bed kingsize very good not hard...the other bed ( single) also good. So you have an kingbed and a singlebed at the room. Lots of towels all kind of sizes, even there are 2 large towels for the poobeds or beach ( Blue Lagoon ). I went to the Blue Lagoon beach.....you can buy food and drinks by the beachventers in the middle of Blue Lagoon and The Amari, good price of cours. TV great very very large size... lost of channels all internation some Thai channels to. The Wifi is pretty fast for Thailand. The reception good ...need them only for check in and out. I am very familiar at Samui. Restaurant Sala Thai around the corner surprises me and your next door of Prego famous Italian restaurant at Koh Samui. You can walk to the center, bars and shoppingmall ( Central Festival ). Iff u come for the room, pool, location and price its great

An excellent place to stay and value for money. The room was large and clean. The internet is pretty decent, and the hotel is near practically everything you might need. There is a family mart next door, so groceries are sorted. The tour agency will rent you scooters and you can book stuff with them. The restaurant next door though, is a little expensive for local standards but serve a decent variety and quality of food. Located just outside the Chaweng main party stretch, it is easy to grab one of the buses into the stretch, and since the roads around the hotel is 2 way, it avoids the crazy traffic during the evenings. It is a little far from the beach, and that's my only complaint. That aside, everything is pretty good with this hotel. I'd definitely go there again in my next visit.

Stayed at bhundhari for 2 days after checking out from another hotel. Had a beach front private pool villa which was outstanding. Very well maintained by the staff. Memories worth remwmbering from the time we got the pick up from another hotel to bhundhari. Location: At chaweng.. Not even 5mins drive to the main chaweng area. Big Buddha is also 5 mins drive from the resort but in other direction from chaweng main street. A perfect place for relaxing as well as partying. Facilities: Services at its finest. The pick up to the hotel and to the airport. The staff is very helful always with a smiling face. The resort is spread along 2 sides of the main road. If u r staying in rooms close to the beach then they always have a golf cart ready in 2 3 mins. The beach restraunt is nice along with the common pool with good music playing around throughout the day. The private pool is accesible from the room itself. And the beat part is the lightings. The view is mesmirising at night as well during the day. The lights in the pool allows to have agood swim during night hours as well. Bathroom is huge with a jacuzzi facing the pool and the beach. The sun beds are also comfortable enough besides the private pool. Had an awesome experience. A big thanks to Mr.Babu who was very friendly and attended to all our needs. You just think of something and Mr.Babu has the answer to it. From the time we checked in till we checked out throughout our stay he made sure that we had a comfortable stay. Hotel can arrange the car or bike if you want to drive along. Food: Buffet breakfast was perfect with a vast variety. Also the lunch dinner and snacks were good. Room service avilable also you can enjoy the food next to the beach. Conclusion: A perfect resort. Will definetly recommend bhundhari to anybody visiting koh samui.

Was upgraded to a Deluxe Bungalow for a discount upon arrival. Considering Resort is in heart of Chaweng, the resort is quiet and the lush gardens offer tranquility. The Bungalow was clean and had a rustic feel to it. The restaurant food was excellent with prices being very cheap for a resort. Wifi worked throughout resort. No telephone or free bottled water in room. The hotel staff struggle with English, but become friendlier the longer you stay. The lady/owner was very nice. The beach is great, amongst the best of Chaweng.

We booked here for 3 nights and ended up staying 6 more nights paid through the hotel. Small hotel with spacious bungalow style rooms with lots of light and nicely gardened areas around rooms. Rooms sit off the road so nice and quiet at night. Pool was nice with shade and sun options for lounging and a few tabled areas for sitting and eating. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Laundry by the kilo available onsite. Hotel also has some long stay options with microwave and dining area plus 2 awesome villa style rooms with living room areas and small private pools. Onsite parking area also. The only negatives we would say were some areas had spotty or weak Wi-Fi and only limited TV channels but we rarely used anyway. Some areas of the property are in need of updating or repair but this can be expected of almost any smaller hotel in Thailand. None of these things affected our stay and did not include any of the daily use areas of the property. Especially considering this was on the lower end of the prices for hotel with a pool it was a spectacular bargain and we will happily stay again

For tailor, go to Moda Milan International Suits and see Rooney (nicest guy you'll meet). The shop is around five minutes walk towards Chaweng shopping precinct (Burger King etc.) on the left hand side of the road. Down that same side street, you will find internet cafe (1BHT/min) who are also able to do tour bookings - see Chicken (English translation for his real name!). Be sure to book yourself onto the Jungle Safari - though attempt to bargain them down. Originally 1,700BHT, I got for 1,500BHT and a mate was able to bargain another agent down to 1,100BHT! At the end of this side road is the Ark Bar - best eatery in Samui-a must try. Also, nearby on the other side of the road you will find Martin's Place - small, friendly & tasty eatery with Italian and Thai cuisine. The people of Samui rock! If you can be in Samui for the Full Moon Party, do it. But hit Koh Phangnan for the party itself. Bus/speedboat transfers between Samui and Koh Phangnan are easily arranged at around 600 Baht.
