Hotels near Takiab Mountain

We booked this hotel because of the free waterpark admission. The waterpark itself was fun and the hotel was new, clean and the staff was friendly. The views from the roof are probably the best in Hua Hin right now. The pool doesn't get a ton of sunlight so it is cold but the view from up there can't be beat. The location is a bit of a tease. There isn't much around it within walking distance although you can see the main strip right across the train tracks. However there is no way to walk over to that strip and you need to take a taxi. There is a 7/11 and a local restaurant across the from the waterpark and there is a big Tesco next to it but in terms of finding a restaurant that isn't at the hotel then a taxi is needed.

This the third time we've stayed at Nice Residence set in well kept gardens and lovely pool. This time we upgraded to a delux room with kitchen and washing machine. Well worth the little extra cost. We like the area because it's quiet, close to Cicada and Tanarind markets and beach. The hotel has a shuttle which travels to shopping centres, bus stop, night market, beaches further up the coast at no cost but you must book at least 1/2hr before leaving. The staff are always friendly and helpful and this time helped rectify an internet booking error which wasn't their fault. We would stay here again with out hesitation. The only negative comment is that the bedding, sheets and cover are incorrect size for the bed but in saying that it was changed daily, the only hotel which did this on our one month travel in Thailand.

My stay at Norndee was absolutely brilliant. From the second I stepped into the ultra modern hotel after a long journey from Bangkok I felt immediately calm and relaxed. I got a standard double room, which was very large, exceptionally decorated in a nordic style with a very nice bathroom. Breakfasts at Norndee were absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to help me organise transfers back to Bangkok airport and were very knowledgeable about local restaurants. I cannot understand why this hotel was so cheap apart from the fact that it didn't have a pool and wasn't beach front. That said it was only about a 3/4 minute walk from Hua Hin beach and literally 30 seconds to the super clean and pristine Cicada Food Market. I unreservedly recommend this place- best hotel i've stayed in for a good few years.

This is actually my second stay here at Bihai Hua Hin. Everything is pretty much the same, great. Just a 5 minutes walk to the beach. For European tourist, which you guys usually walk a lot more than Thai people, this would be nothing. The beach is not connect to Hua Hin beach as Tra Keab Mountain split the beach and the beach is a lot more peaceful. On the weekday À la carte American and Thai breakfast is provided, while on the weekend hotel will provide buffet breakfast. Swimming pool is a reasonable size. Hotel's parking lot can accommodate 7 cars. 3-4 more cars can park in front of the hotel which hotel security will help you on that. Only down side of my stay is the inconsistency of water temperature.

The Rep on arrival was informative and spoke great English, The pool was clean and big enough to accommodate the number of guests staying during our visit. The room was spacious and had everything you needed - Home from Home. we were on the Eighth floor overlooking the pool and mountains behind. The room was clean and parking was no problem, the guards on the gate both day and night were very pleasant. The location was within walking distance to the beach 500 meters, the part of the beach where the monkeys can be seen belly flopping into the sea off small rocks. The main part of Hua Hin was a 15 minute drive with great markets and beach side restaurants, we stayed 3 nights , wish we had stayed longer , will 100% be going back.

Super new hotel, nice sized rooms with good clean facilities and a great balcony overlooking the pool. No need to book the more expensive poolside rooms, which to be honest do not appear that private. Clean fresh rooms, good parking and nice friendly staff, out of town a little so transport is a must. However a real haven from the noise and chaos of Hua Hin. Fantastic large clean swimming pool which we all enjoyed, especially our 3 year old. Negatives… the builders were in adding a smallish extension, noise was a bit annoying but not excessive. More annoying were the ornamental sea shells they have hanging over every balcony. They do look pretty but in the wind they crash against the balcony railings and believe me the noise is horrible and a quiet nights sleep was not possible. On windless days not a problem, but we stayed 5 nights and the wind was strong.. It wouldn't take a day just to raise the hanging so that they did not bang against the railings. We did complain but got the Thai shrug and nothing was done, seems petty but it really spoilt our stay and I am surprised management don't act. Other negative not one single English speaking channel on the TV. We would stay

If you are a market lover, this is the place. But be careful if you're having a luggage. There's no elevator, imagine carrying a big luggage to the third floor with steep steps. There's considering when a child coming with you too. I did a mistake not to read the detail of extra charge 300 Bath when booking, as I assumed that it could be the same as the others that a child ageing 0-12 staying for free if using existing bed. Here is not, it considers the height, while my 8 yrs old boy growing up than usual kids, so I ended up paying extra that almost cost me 1,400 Bath in total. It's fine if paying extra, then you'll get breakfast and extra bed. The extra bed here means a pick nick bed sheet for sleeping on the floor. The bathroom is so clean. However, considering this final price, there are some other places offering breakfast, swimming pool at the same price to think about. Parking slot is limited.

Very quiet and so very unassuming from the main st . But if your looking for a nice friendly small quiet hotel , i cant speak highly enough of this place , great rates and friendly staff (Tom) hotel owner . Everything has been well planned and thought of here and nothing is a strees for the onwer , a close walk to the beach and Cicada night market , guest parking and a quiet courtyard garden . And a mini courtyard on the back door for clothes drying and washing etc . My only disapointment here was that i did not book for longer , now i can see why he books out so easily most days . Great Hotel !!!!!

Altough a little far from Hua Hin downtown, we felt the spot was nicer and causy. Still, it's located on the side of a highway, but it remains very calm and a very nice place to stay. The staff can be very friendly and the breakfast is not that bad :) Be reminded that it's included, so a warm rice soup or a simple thaï-american breakfast is a good way to start the day :) The pool is clean and warm enough and a nice spot to hang out when it's too hot to go to the beach. Awesome market nearby with excellent food to bring back to your room, balcony or terasse. There is also a nice little mountain with temples and viewpoint at a relatively short walking distance (15 min?) There are 2 big beaches at a 20 min. walking distance where you can easily spend your days. We booked a room for one night, then booked for a week, and then an other. We would recommand this hotel anytime. It's nice causy and clean, and not a big all-white all-inclusive type one.
