"Everything would be rated very good, but for us, the bed was like a brick. It was very hard to sleep on such a stiff surface. Other than that the stay was excellent. The wireless was excellent and the check in/check out done in a few seconds. They had an excellent variety of foods on the breakfast buffet (you can ask for an omelet too.) There was some road noise in the morning since the hotel was located on a main road, Rt 212, between Rt 2 and the direct route into the city from the south. It's location made it easy access from the south and was close to the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge."

"This was a great find. A cheap and high quality new guest house only 200 metres from the main pier, overlooking the Mekong river and with a view of the Friendship Bridge. The owner was very knowledgable and helpful, willing to give me a lift to the bridge on his motorbike as well as helping me find the van to Udon Thani airport and taking me to the bus stop. Coffee and drinks were cheap with a lovely little garden and two dogs. I stayed on my way to Laos and then came back on my return for a further 2 nights. The upstairs room was large and clean, the bathroom spotless and with a good shower. Thoroughly recommended!"
