The hotel room itself was very similar to the likes of Premier Inn within the United Kingdom, basic, well maintained and clean! The room can not be faulted, air conditioning worked very well, shower was good and has an in-room safe! The only slight downside of this accommodation is there are no sun loungers by the pool, however the hotel is walking distance to Chewang Beach where you can sit on a sun lounger free of charge as long as you purchase a drink from the beach club! COSI rooftop pool provided a brilliant setting to watch the sunset at nights! I would recommend the hotel to anyone heading to Koh Samui due to the great value for money this provides!

I enjoy my stayed at Chaweng Villawee.The location is amazing. It's just 5 mins away from Chaweng Beach and nearby Central Festival ,7-11 ,Night Market , ASK BAR , Green Mango , very convenience. The staff very helpful. Khun Ae and Khun Keam they are very excellent. Nice swimming pool. I very like it. Only one thing should be improve " Breakfast" there is no choice.

The hotel is centrally located just on Chaweng beach. The staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast is poor, not many choices and average quality. Food in the hotel is quite expensive, but one can easily go out to the neighboring streets for great food with less money. The pool is a highlight. It is very big and few people. But in the same time, there is almost no public space in the hotel, because the pool and the pool-access rooms basically occupy all public space. One can only go to the end of the pool or the beach. In general the hotel worth its money we spent. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this hotel.

I only stayed in the hotel for one night. For the price I am paying I think it was worth it. It has its own swimming pool which looks like a nice place to chill. It takes about 15 mins to walk to chaweng beach. My room was in the 2nd building hence the lift is not connected. I had to take the lift to 4th floor and walk up one level. The room and hotel is a little bit dim for my liking. There is a lot of shops around the area. It takes about half hour walk to the clubbing area where green mango club is.

Honestly I can't say enough about the hotel and staff. The hotel is located not far from the airport on the far side of the main town. It's a very short walk to the center and you pass dozens of restaurants, shops and club on the way. The rooms are very clean and it was the best bed I've slept on in Thailand in forever. While the bathrooms are not large, they are not small either. The shower is large, enough for two people. The pool is great as is the restaurant/bar. Never ate breakfast so can't comment on that. They have a service that rents motorbikes (read scooters) and cars from the lobby everyday. Very helpful as it's the best way to get around the island.

Pros - new, very clean rooms and bathrooms - great location in the middle of Chaweng - nice swimming pool and lovely beach - great if you are looking to party with a group of friends - hotel manager ( a lovely girl )reception staff and cleaners very helpfull and friendly Cons - very loud in the evenings - people are partying in the rooms and hotel staff doesnt do anything about it so if you are looking for some quiet time you will not find it there - restaurant staff speaks very little english so its a challange to order anything - lots of mistakes due to language barrier - don’t get breakfast there if you are not looking to eat noodles and chinese food for breakfast - plenty better places around serving also european breakfast - if you are traveling with young kids DO NOT book this hotel - they will not be able to sleep during the night - hotel full of people from China and Israel so if you are looking for more european place and relax you wont find it there

Great rooms and good service. Was so nice to see the manager talk to every guest - a great touch. Restaurant and bar prices are on the high side, but then high compared to local prices... having said that, what hotel charges LESS than outside. It was by no means extortionate, and less than 4* hotels in the UK. The beach at the Kandaburi is great. There was some litter there, though after speaking with the Manager, it appears as though there is a local action group that the hotel is part of to push for a local property owner to clean up the beach as it affects many hotels. To walk along the beach to a busier section is about a 20 minute stroll. If you want to use a songthaew (local bus), about 50 Baht pp (AFAIR) should be enough to get you into the centre of town. The hotel is split by the road. The rooms at the top are slightly smaller. We had an upgraded room that was on the lower side of the hotel, near the beach (131). It was a corner room, and was amazing. The bathroom was enourmous - I have seen smaller bedrooms! We were welcomed at reception with cool towels and a drink, and entered the room to find a rose petal filled bath and heart arrangement on the bed, along with sparkling wine, a cake and fruit (it was our honeymoon). Our room attendant was great, giving a turndown service, and arranging towels into animal shapes etc! As for food, we only ate breakfast at the hotel. There was a massive choice of hot food, an omlette/egg/pancake station, Asian and Western options and quick service for tea and coffee. For the price, I really couldn't fault the hotel. Yes, there are some minor gripes around the beach cleanliness, but it didn't deter me from swimming in the least. I would go back in a second...

Stayed here twice on a recent trip, once in a standard room and once in a family room. The family room was great and over looked pool and was quiet, standard room was smaller, but still okay, but found to be slightly noisy at early hours with youngsters coming in from nights out, but nothing that we couldn't handle. Hotel is araound a 10 min drive (in a truck cab) to the Green Mango area which is where the main bars and clubs are. Lot's of good restaurants in Chewang. Would stay here again.

it was our first time to ko samui. we drove all the was from penang. we stayed at fx chaweng for 2 nights. the room is nice and comfortable enough. more than average since the hotel is quite new (1 year +). the hotel is nearby the main chaweng beach road. (10 mins walk from the hotel). there is a tour agent beside the laundry service shop. luckily for us, we met a very friendly travel agent who would take us for a mini tour around chaweng beach road on her motorbike. ang thong marine national park tour was not to our expectations. the snokerling part was lousy. the water was quite dirty (petrol from the boats) the best part was the view from up the hill. the kayaking was abit dangerous but enjoyed it. there is one seafood restaurant in chaweng which we would like to recommend is kruathai. the food over there is nice and the price very affordable. green mango club is awesome! recommended for party lovers. ark bar beach club is not bad too. if you plan to go shopping, better make it in lamai. the price over there is much cheaper compare to chaweng. thoroughly, we enjoyed our stay in ko samui. looking forward to our next trip to ko samui!

Central located, close to the beach, nice big quiet rooms with all amenities, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean, the perfect place to stay in a nice hotel, rooms are better than , better than in any 4, or 5 star hotel, for example the overpriced lousy, run down small rooms at the Centara Beach Club Hotel, but you have just steps to the beautiful Chaweng beach and you pay much less. Thanks to the friendly girl at the rezeption, the make my stay very welcoming.

My 2nd trip to KoSamui. Stayed 4 night this time and absolutely loved it. Despite the weather was windy and cloudy during the stay(luckily no rain) we spent our time discovering the island . With no doubt the best hotel staff during our Thai trip. Very friendly and helpful with some awesome tips and recommendations. We arrived on friday and been suggested to visit Fishermans village. That was really awesome as the market takes place only on fridays. Great recommendation for Thai food restaurant and things to see around the island(loved the Jungle club,waterfalls,etc). Hotel itself is 10 minutes walk from Ark bar and in pretty quiet area. Breakfast included was alright.Familymart and 7eleven next door. Good place to rent a scooter 30 meters up the street. Only downside was internet connection in the room,but that`s pretty much the case all around the island.It worked good in the reception/restaurant area though. Overall great stay!!

I've stayed at the Chaweng Budget Hotel now a few times during my many years of visiting Koh Samui. I've shopped around for various other hotels over the years, but I always seem to find myself wanting to come back to the Chaweng Budget Hotel. For one thing, the hotel is in a good location. South Chaweng is, to my mind, the best part of Chaweng Beach. You get away from the crowds and the noise, and yet you can get down to the busy strip easily enough if you want to. The beach itself is also much better for swimming at this end, and it's generally just a nicer area overall. The staff at the Chaweng Budget Hotel are always friendly. Each time I stay, it feels like coming home. The rooms are clean and well-attended, and they still offer one of the best breakfasts on the entire strip for this kind of money. Plus, you get to use the health and pool facilities of its sister hotel. All in all, it's hard to beat the Chaweng Budget Hotel for this kind of money.

If your looking for a 5 star hotel then this isn’t it. But if your looking for affordable,comfortable accommodation only 200m from the beach then this is the place for you. Stayed here for 7 nights in a bungalow and couldn’t fault Pandora all, you get a lot of bang for your buck. nice quaint comfortable rooms a decent breakfast down to the strong hot showers this place is great. But most of all are the staff and management they make you feel at home,nothing is a problem for them. The hotel is close to money changers ,7 eleven,massage and bakery. Then it’s a short stroll across the road to one of the best beaches on the island. Thanks pandora I will be back

Booked this hotel for e last two nights of my holiday in Bangkok. Was pleasantly surprised about the standard of the rooms. Spacious, modern and luxurious. The best part was the friendly staff at the reception and restaurant. Always greeting you with the most cincere Sawadee and smile and being utmost helpfull when needed. The Kawh soi is a speciality from the North which I can recommend at the restaurant. Had better and more personal service here than many of the 5 star hotels I stayed at during the same holiday.

Booked through Agoda as the rate was a 3rd of the rack rate for the same room. When booking I requested a lower room as I have a heart condition but was allocated a room that required climbing 60+ steps to reach it, on the strength of this I only stayed the 3 days. Nice pool but out of the way by the lake. The free shuttle service to Chaweng beach road is handy but the drop off point is not central and it is approximately 10-15 minutes walk to the Green mango area and as the traffic is one way, there is no option but to walk. The pool is nice and big and the gardens are lovely. The menu is limited and the same as the room service menu.

My friends and me had a great time in Koh Samui. The island is beautiful and there's plenty of fun stuff to do. But what made our time in Samui even more special was our stay at The Samui Beach Residence. The hotel is located close to the beach and yet comfortably far (700 mts to 1km) from the noisy nightlife Samui has to offer. The Hotel owners Mr. Pascal and Mrs. Cherylle were delightful hosts. They made sure that our stay was memorable and fun. They gave us all the essential information a tourist needs about Samui. Our rooms were the best part of our stay in Samui. Tastefully furnished and comfortably set. The rooms were kept neat and tidy. And we would always look forward to coming back to the room after long days and late nights in Samui. The Hotel provides free wifi to its customers but unlike most other hotels, the Wifi is super fast. The hotel boasts a variety of different breakfasts including a Halal breakfast. The food (breakfast or otherwise) was plentiful and really tasty. The hotel is located in a safe locality with a 24/7 department store just 20 yards from the lobby. There's a big shopping mall 5 mins walk from the hotel. And all best pubs, restaurants and nightlife are just 10 mins by walk. This hotel is what all hotels should strive to be like. I booked 2 days and ended up staying for 5 in early April. The rooms are big with balconies, I was upstairs. Good wifi and right on the beach. The place is really quiet given that is right in Chaweng. The beach chairs are nice and the staff is friendly. It's inexpensive and pretty basic but they do give you free water, shampoo, body wash and coffee in the room. It's all I needed. The bed was fine but they don't change your sheets, just make up the bed. Not a big deal for me but for some maybe it is. The A/C worked well but I have to say since it's a beach bungalow, I did get a lot of mosquito bites! If you are on a budget and want a place on the beach with access to bars, stay here. I think the best part is walking down the beach at night to all the bars and eating on the beach. Swimming is ok, just shallow water.

Nice big rooms with 2 beds, but you have to walk alot from the lobby till the room, it is kind of deserted and empty, when it came time to Renew my booking they were showing fully booked for the normal room and wanted me to upgrade to the pool access room which was more Expensive, this hotel was deserted saw very few people, but otherwise very nice for 850 baht which I paid

The Chaweng Beach Hotel is a no frills hotel and is a good spot if you are looking for something clean and cheap in Samui. There is no pool and no restaurant. A small breakfast offered, but I went for brekkie at the cafe down the road instead. The staff was really nice and they spoke English well enough that there was no confusion when checking in/out or when I had questions. The room was big and clean, a bit out dated but for the price totally acceptable. Internet is an extra cost and worked well, it's not the greatest but it's certainly not terrible either. They have a security guard at night as do most of the hotels in in the area. There is a taxi stand right outside of the hotel if you need a ride somewhere or back to the airport. The only thing that I found slightly odd was payment with credit card. I ended up booking another 2 nights there and payed directly to the hotel. They made it seem like the credit card machine was not working, but it was as I insisted on paying by credit card. If they ask you to pay cash, or go to the cash machine across the street.. don't. The machine works. I assume they prefer cash rather than paying the credit card fees. Overall, a great experience!

My stay was pleasant. Only 2 problems was the water kept going out and taking a few hours to half a day to come back on. Some other people were really angry who stayed for one day since they could not bath. But we were there for a week so I could wait until it was on. They hotel was modern, breakfast was basic but was free so well worth it. Distance to the beach is really close about 2 mins. And waking distance to green mango etc is not bad. It feels very safe walking back at night and overall I would definitely go back.

Maybe the outside ihasnot alot of atmosphere but the room is great. The shower is big/fabulous and can get Very very hot. Separate toilet. The bed kingsize very good not hard...the other bed ( single) also good. So you have an kingbed and a singlebed at the room. Lots of towels all kind of sizes, even there are 2 large towels for the poobeds or beach ( Blue Lagoon ). I went to the Blue Lagoon beach.....you can buy food and drinks by the beachventers in the middle of Blue Lagoon and The Amari, good price of cours. TV great very very large size... lost of channels all internation some Thai channels to. The Wifi is pretty fast for Thailand. The reception good ...need them only for check in and out. I am very familiar at Samui. Restaurant Sala Thai around the corner surprises me and your next door of Prego famous Italian restaurant at Koh Samui. You can walk to the center, bars and shoppingmall ( Central Festival ). Iff u come for the room, pool, location and price its great

An excellent place to stay and value for money. The room was large and clean. The internet is pretty decent, and the hotel is near practically everything you might need. There is a family mart next door, so groceries are sorted. The tour agency will rent you scooters and you can book stuff with them. The restaurant next door though, is a little expensive for local standards but serve a decent variety and quality of food. Located just outside the Chaweng main party stretch, it is easy to grab one of the buses into the stretch, and since the roads around the hotel is 2 way, it avoids the crazy traffic during the evenings. It is a little far from the beach, and that's my only complaint. That aside, everything is pretty good with this hotel. I'd definitely go there again in my next visit.

Stayed at bhundhari for 2 days after checking out from another hotel. Had a beach front private pool villa which was outstanding. Very well maintained by the staff. Memories worth remwmbering from the time we got the pick up from another hotel to bhundhari. Location: At chaweng.. Not even 5mins drive to the main chaweng area. Big Buddha is also 5 mins drive from the resort but in other direction from chaweng main street. A perfect place for relaxing as well as partying. Facilities: Services at its finest. The pick up to the hotel and to the airport. The staff is very helful always with a smiling face. The resort is spread along 2 sides of the main road. If u r staying in rooms close to the beach then they always have a golf cart ready in 2 3 mins. The beach restraunt is nice along with the common pool with good music playing around throughout the day. The private pool is accesible from the room itself. And the beat part is the lightings. The view is mesmirising at night as well during the day. The lights in the pool allows to have agood swim during night hours as well. Bathroom is huge with a jacuzzi facing the pool and the beach. The sun beds are also comfortable enough besides the private pool. Had an awesome experience. A big thanks to Mr.Babu who was very friendly and attended to all our needs. You just think of something and Mr.Babu has the answer to it. From the time we checked in till we checked out throughout our stay he made sure that we had a comfortable stay. Hotel can arrange the car or bike if you want to drive along. Food: Buffet breakfast was perfect with a vast variety. Also the lunch dinner and snacks were good. Room service avilable also you can enjoy the food next to the beach. Conclusion: A perfect resort. Will definetly recommend bhundhari to anybody visiting koh samui.

We booked here for 3 nights and ended up staying 6 more nights paid through the hotel. Small hotel with spacious bungalow style rooms with lots of light and nicely gardened areas around rooms. Rooms sit off the road so nice and quiet at night. Pool was nice with shade and sun options for lounging and a few tabled areas for sitting and eating. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Laundry by the kilo available onsite. Hotel also has some long stay options with microwave and dining area plus 2 awesome villa style rooms with living room areas and small private pools. Onsite parking area also. The only negatives we would say were some areas had spotty or weak Wi-Fi and only limited TV channels but we rarely used anyway. Some areas of the property are in need of updating or repair but this can be expected of almost any smaller hotel in Thailand. None of these things affected our stay and did not include any of the daily use areas of the property. Especially considering this was on the lower end of the prices for hotel with a pool it was a spectacular bargain and we will happily stay again

This is a hotel that provides excellent value for money. The location is a short walk to Solo and the Green Mango Club a big plus when you jsut want to stumble back to your room at night. The hotel being new has modern amenities and a crisp clean look. The staff lacks experience but makes up for that with enthusiasm. Be careful setting a wake up call as the hotel called us about 30 mins late on two occasions. Overall the Stay was great except for the rooms which werent cleaned properly and the smell of sewage that hit the rooms the last couple of days.
