Old, but cool”
I liked it. The rooms are old, but clean. Well worth the money. The staff is great. The home cooked meals are delicious and those ladies are the best. He tried to get me a taxi to leave in the morning, but they refused him. It’s stop number 14 on the Tobu bus line, 410 yen per person. A taxi is 2100 yen from the eki. It’s very convenient compared to the onsen hotels, which are way far away. Be sure to know the hotel name is Iloilo to tell the driver. The bus schedule at the bus stop is very accurate. We went up early to beat the crowds.
The man of the moment”
The young man at reception is one of those can-do types, joyful, accommodating and helpful. He also cooks! The room was small, but we walked most of daylight hours. Proximity to the Botanic Gardens, the Imperial Villa and the Kanmanga-fuchi statues were a big plus for us.
Ik heb genoten.”
Het was een heerlijk hotel. Lekker rustig met prima faciliteiten. Goed bed.
