The Jomtien Beach Residence itself is a clean oasis on a not-so-clean soi (lots of dogs) at not-so-clean Jomtien beach. Fast check-in, quiet, nice pool. Fitness room. We used this place as a base to visit spots like the Aquarium, Cartoon Network water park, Tiger Zoo, Shopping. Really nothing bad to say about this place. Nice little kitchen so we could cook if we wanted. 2 TV's, 2 aircons, good WiFi. Daily maid service. Good value. We went once to the beach a short walk away. Had to go around the earth moving machines to get there but OK. There is a circular floating barricade to keep swimmers safe from jet skis and power boats. The water seemed slightly improved (cleaner) than previous visits to Jomtien. This being I suppose low season most of the completed condo buildings in the area looked empty as did most restaurants but, as usual, there is never-ending construction of even more massive condo projects and restaurants. Does the place really fill for a couple of months at high season to justify all this endless building? The beach sidewalk was, as last year, still torn up and "undergoing renovation."

Quiet, clean and classy”
When you arrive at this very quiet and peaceful soi 9 in Jomtien, make sure you ask for BLACKOUT shades so you can sleep at night. My one-bedroom rental (about 50sqm) was very clean with a kitchen, dishes, hot plate stove and full refrigerator. There are two air-conditioners: one for the bedroom and another for the living room/kitchen area. My balcony looked into a jungle. The swimming pool was squeaky clean and there was a fitness gym adjacent to the pool. Jomtien Beach Residence is an 80-meter walk to the beach and close by many good restaurants and a night market, but there are NO bars near the residence so it's very peaceful. At night, light from a public corridor easily infiltrated the two shades of my bedroom, and this small problem can easily be remedied with proper blackout shades. Make sure you ask for them when you check in, and you will enjoy a wonderful stay at this superior accommodation.

class apartment in quiet location ”
The main reason that i chose to stay in Jomtien is because it is a quieter location than that of Pattaya Beach, i was very lucky to find the Jomtien Beach Residence, this is one on the most modern apartments that i have stayed in, very roomy with nice big balcony, also the gym and pool are very nice and a very short walk to the beach, can easy take the Bhat bus from Jomtien to the nightlife spots, however there are also some very nice restaurants and bars in Jomtien.

Everything was great”
The hotel is located on Jomtien Beach Road which is not difficult to find, although the address printed on the voucher doesn't state that it's in Soi 9, lucky I called before I arrived to check. The room is very neat and clean (clean dialy, fresh towels and sheet provided) We love the space. Big living area, big balcony with sea view and big bedroom and shower. That part of Jomtien Beach Road is quietter which suits family with kids. There are 2 TVs and kitchen that can come in handy, no tea or coffee provided but we got them from the top of the Soi 9 (there are 2 convenient stores). The deal we had didn't include breakfast however there are plenty of restaurants nearby. All the facilities are in good condition, gym, swimming pool etc. Overall we had a pleasant stay at this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Very good for families with children”
Very good location, in a small street near Jomtien Road, about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. Actually, it is not a hotel but two apartment buildings on both sides of street. So apartments include small kitchens with good number of dishes (and pan, and skillet). Very good for families with children. Good, silent and comfortable place; I will come back to this hotel. There is “night market” in several minutes to walk. Good food is there. To go to the center of Pattaya is more and more difficult each year because of traffic, so be ready to stay in Jomtien area.

Great for families with small children”
absolutely good choice for families with young kids for a good price. we stayed in one bedroom apartment. although we have 2 children, we could sleep comfortably in a king size bed - it was really big! however, do not count on sleeping in a sofa in the living room, because it is very small. everyday we received 2 bottles of water for free. room service was fabulous, cleaning the room every day. the hotel is located inside soi 9 (be sure to tell this to your taxi driver, because it does not appear in the hotel address). it is very quiet soi, no bars there, so sleep was uninterrupted. overall, hotel is not really in the centre of jomtien - you should take baht bus for b that runs every second. however, there is everything you need - restaurants, 2 small convenience stores (7 eleven and family mart), fruit stall and the beach is just over the road. we were very happy with our stay and highly recommend.

If you really need to visit Pattaya.....”
As the vast majority of reviewers state, this is extremely good value for money. You can cook for yourself if you want, and given the rip-off prices in most restaurants along the beach, this is a good idea (especially if you have a Thai wife). The only negative (and it is serious) is the appalling state of the wifi. Most hotels these days will have good strength wifi, but here it was always like watching paint dry. Ok for email, I suppose, but anything else and you will waaaaaiiiiiiitttt and wait and wait..... The hotel is a little island of cleanliness and peace in the middle of what must be the worst city, not just in Thailand but the whole world. The Jomtien beach is absolutely filthy (dogs roaming, cigarette butts everywhere, occasional beer bottles, and, worst of all, the inevitable THUMP THUMP THUMP coming from someone's sound system from his car parked on the beach road. ) there is NO REASON whatsoever to visit this disgustingly dirty city.

top hotel great location”
two bedrooms two bathrooms kictchen three balconys one looking over sea one looking over pool ( top balcony sitting area with table next to kitchen ) third balcony not much to see i used it to dry cloths. if you want night life only a couple sois (streets)down. if you want to go pattaya walking street taxi bus about 10 /15 mins . 10 bht each person. you can get bht bus to take you /family anywhere for bht like zoo markets bht ect.just talk to driver. you get alot more for your money (hotel) in jomtien than pattaya but a lot more relaxed not for the young hearted looking for many ladies stay pattaya better for familys and couples to relax .

Great service apartment for a quiet weekend getawa”
Stay was pleasant. For the size of the room and the price, great to have your own living area, balcony and a small kitchenette. Friendly staffs and good facilities (pool/gym). My purpose was to find a decent price, clean hotel with a pool to sun tan and get away from the bustling crowds and i got what i wanted at Jomtien Beach. Room furniture are slightly aging and have seen better days, but aside to that, i will come back again. Literally a min walk away to the beach with a night market around the area. Only issue is Location is not the greatest but then again its away from the crowds. Finding breakfast/lunch are mainly restaurants and nothing quick unless its takeaway from the 7-11.
