“Perfect ten, impressed.”
Pros - The room was newly renovated and very clean. We booked a deluxe room, but the staff upgraded us to a deluxe pool view room, which was impressive. We stayed on the 7th floor and had a full view of the pool and the sea. The cool breeze was pleasant. The room had all the necessary amenities, with plenty of power outlets, a clothes drying rack, a hairdryer, and slippers. The bathroom had strong water pressure, and the TV had YouTube for the kids to watch cartoons. - The swimming pool had separate areas for children and adults, with a slide zone and a fountain. The kids loved it and played there morning and evening. The walkway around the pool is always cleaned by the housekeeping staff, and there are no slippery surfaces at all, making it safe for children. - The kids' club is very spacious, but there are quite few toys. There is only one slide and one kitchen table, which isn't enough for the kids. The hotel policy requires socks to be worn, but I saw foreign families not following the rules, and I felt sympathy for the staff. - The restaurant offers a variety of food, both Thai and international, but the taste is somewhat bland—understandably so, as it may cater to international guests, which is fine. - The staff provided excellent service from the moment we drove into the hotel until checkout, which I greatly appreciate. - Personally, I was impressed that we left our child's life jacket behind, and the hotel sent it to our home. Thank you very much. Areas for Improvement - I would like the hotel to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the children's pool, as we found leaves and dust; small children may be allergic or itchy. - The designated smoking area is located at the hotel entrance, right where guests are dropped off, which is not visually appealing. Since we have small children, the smell is quite strong, and it even reaches the breakfast area, making it impossible to eat outside. I would like to see it relocated. - For the kids' club, I would like to see more toys added, and there should be a staff member assigned to the room. Overall, for us, it’s a 10/10. It’s worth every penny spent, which was less than 2,000 baht. We will definitely stay again.
