"If you want something cool, modern, close to nice cafes and shops and in a peaceful area... this is the place! The staff are very kind and friendly. The interior design is great, with personality and not boring. The room is good if you need space to work as well. And everything is very clean :) The restaurant is great too! Delicious food prepared with love! Ahhh, the beach is near. If you take a taxi you I’ll be there in 5 minutes. There is a Waitrose supermarket very near to hotel too. So if you something with good quality and peaceful environment, away from noisy places... this is the best option in Dubai! "

"The staff was rude. The hotel is old, and the rooms aren't updated so they are small, cramped and old. No elevators, only stairs. The pool bar doesn't serve drinks at the bar if you sit at the barstool--they require you to sit on a sunbed. The private beach is very small. The hotel is far from the rest of Jumeirah Beach hotels, and far from the airport. There's no breakfast, and there isn't even a coffee maker in the room. The closest "mall" has about 10 stores, none of which are the franchise chains except Zara Home. When I asked the hotel valet staff for a Dubai Taxi- he insisted that I have to take a private hotel Lexus instead. "

"Had the most amazing welcome at Jumeira Rotana by the Manager Mohsin Mohammed. We were given a huge welcome and a superb complimentary upgrade to a classic Suite with iconic views of Burj Khalifa. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping was excellent with rooms cleaned twice a day. The hotel has a rooftop swimming pool which is very clean, and a bar facility at the pool. There is also a sauna room and a modern fully equipped Gym. The hotel has two restaurants which include a bar. and breakfast has a huge selection available from 6.30sm. The hotel has recently undergone a full refurbishment to a very high standard. There are several modern restaurants close to the hotel including Pizza Hut, KFC, Lebanese, Chinese and Indian restaurants. There is a complimentary coach that can take you to the Dubai Mall or the local beach run by the Hotel. Overall I would highly recommend this excellent hotel to everyone. "

"The stay with the One and Only was excellent. All staff and facilities are top-notch and stand up to other 5-star elite resorts in the world. Highly recommend the Beach Bar and Grille for dinner. We also took advantage of the opportunity to take a boat cruise over to the One and Only 'The Palm' for dinner--complimentary as a guest with a dinner booking in the other One and Only property. The only negative thing I can say about the hotel is that it is beginning to show its age. At times, this adds to the classic/classy feel of the property, but some areas are beginning to show real wear (wood and plaster cracking, mismatched pain patching on exterior). Still a magnificent hotel."
