+ great and very spacious villa (were upgraded from 1 Bdr Villa to Honeymoon Villa, which is 600 sq. m. in size) with lots of space for sunbathing and relaxing near the pool; completely private; every room is air-conditioned separately from others, which gives you the opportunity to make yourself most comfortable; LCD TV (3), sound system, jacuzzi bathtub, rainforest shower, pool shower, kitchenette, 2 WC, wardrobe, lots of other things to make your stay enjoyable + very beautiful gardens, well kept and maintained daily + parking in every villa + nice infinity pool (for those who stay in the suites - main building) + always smiling and greeting staff + shuttle to Chaweng's sister hotel (Kirikayan Boutique Hotel), which can drive you to Fisherman's Village at Bo Phut, if you'd like + nice restaurant (more in terms of decor and ambience, than food itself, but nevertheless definitely worth a try) + best price on private pool villas at Mae Nam, if not on Samui in general + nice neighbours - little iguana, little frog (living in a drain), kittens - very adorable :) - insects (ants, flies, mosquitos, even roaches), but this is the part of staying at villa with lots of open spaces - villas definitely need a refurbishment, as some things fail to work correctly from time to time - absence of own beach (distance to Mae Nam beach is approx. 800 m, but the hotel does not have its own beach there, so the nearest private beach would be at Kirikayan Boutique in Chaweng, a 15 minutes ride from here)

Best choice for romantic honeymoon escape!”
Our stay at Kirikayan was perfect, We loved the charm of this resort and it felt like it was only us staying there. The design of the grounds makes it the perfect honeymoon getaway and the staff always go above and beyond to exceed all expectations. They all knew our names and what room we are staying in before we even introduced ourselves. We will be staying here again without question and highly recommend this hotel to anyone! The free shuttle bus into town was a fun way to see the normal Samui life (well maintained Songthaew) running back and forth between the hotel and its sister hotel on Chewang beach, where you can order cocktails, massages and food and charge it back to your room in Mae Nam! They would happily keep our bags secure whilst off on a shopping trip and show us the best bargain spots around town as well! All in all we leave Kirikayan hoping to return asap, it has made our honeymoon perfect. .M ps. If you speak to Apple she is the most amazing woman, full of helpful tips and tricks, any time we mentioned anything we would like to do she would have an answer with the best ways to do it. She is a truly wonderful staff member for Kirikayan and a highlight of our day to chat to in the morning.

Amazing Hotel Friendly staff! chaweng Beach resort”
we arrived at kirikayan luxury pool villas & spa hotel and it wasnt what we expected! for a four and half star hotel it was not what we expected! we didnt like what we saw, pool was dirty, everything in it, beetles,flys,spiders. we had a wait as we arrived early so our room wasnt ready for us, we waited at the bar, waited for half hour before someone came to serve us. says theres a pool bar but there isnt! there was one there but not in use, didnt get a good feel from this hotel, toilet near pool was unclean, smelt & toilet seat was broken. we seen there was a (free)shuttle bus to and from the sister hotel in chaweng beach, so we went there as our room was still not ready. we arrive at the sister hotel and i was in heaven it was amazing!!!! pool bar! on the beach! cleanliness! i loved it, i went to reception and asked if we could stay there. the reception staff was so nice, they couldnt do enough for me they arranged for us to stay there extra charge we didnt mind at all as long as we didnt have to go bk to the villa, they transfered r luggage form the village to r room in chaweng so we was happy

Fantastic 5 day break at the Kirikayan spa”
From the moment we arrived in Koh Samui and then onto the Kirikayan Luxury Villas and Spa Resort we knew this was somewhere special, the facilities ie the pool area the spa and restuarant where perfect, set in beautiful grounds and kept in perfect condition, the staff couldnt do enough for us all the time we where there, we got upgraded to the penthouse suite which was out of this world, i would recomend this Hotel Spa to anybody thinking of staying in the area, i have already had friends looking to book this place.

Definitely worth a return visit.”
I certainly got more than a bargain for when I stayed at the Kirikayan Luxury Pool Villas & Spa Hotel. My penthouse room, that I had booked as a flash deal, was absolutely huge and had the most amazing views from the private rooftop terrace. I had the choice of a jungle view from one side of the terrace, or a sea view from the other. The staff were very friendly and professional, and the proximity to the airport and distance from Chaweng made it ideal for a different taste of the island. I'll definitely be back!

Best hotel i've ever had!! (exp. with 150+ hotels)”
Our stay at Kirikayan was the best hotel we've ever had. Staff: Staff is extremely friendly, interested and personal. Especially the receptionists Golf and Apple. All of our wishes were their demands and they did their best to give us a holiday to remember. Room: We booked the penthouse suite, but when we arrived with heavy rain there seemed to be some problems with the penthouses. They informed us at check-in and were delighted to give us an upgrade to a villa with private swimming pool. The best welcome you can wish for!! The villa was spacious with a kitchen including American fridge, living room with a big screen and excellent couch. In the other room, next to the pool we had our bedroom with Jacuzzi and an amazing bed. The garden of the villa was also quite big. Service: Free shuttle to chaweng and back (or every stop in between) Free airport transfer Free newspaper every day Only thing to improve was the average breakfast. Breakfast was good, but a little more choice would be much appreciated.

Huge Luxury Villas”
We booked a one bedroom pool villa, but we were located in two bedroom villa (with one bedroom closed). The villa was huge and bigger than expected (so even too huge at the beginning), but we got used to it after a while (note that two bedroom villa consists of two houses: 1 - living room, dining room and kitchen and 2 - bedrooms, bathrooms). The hotel is a lovely, luxurious place for relaxation. You may have your breakfast served in your villa for free, big flat TV with DVD and huge library for DVDs to rent (for free), cleaning twice a day, small nice touches as flowers every evening in your bed. Location is a little bit off - it is a 10 minutes walk to the main road and probably 20 minutes to Mae Nam beach but access to this beach is difficult (the beach belongs to other resorts). The bus to Chaweng beach should be more frequent (is only 4 times a day). Overall, this hotel is really a good choice.

It was the best room I have ever had in my life! The suite was huge, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The most friendly staff and great services with fresh fruit and homemade cookies. The breakfast was so much better than all the other hotels we stayed in Koh Samui. I forgot my glasses in the room, contacted the staff, and my glasses was sent by post mail within 2 days. And the change was absolutely fair! Can't be more satisfied. Samui was not my favorite island, but I would like to go back for my vacation only because of Kirikayan!

guys outing for a day stay at karikayan family suite. initial trepidations after reading average and some poor reviews were soon removed upon arrival. greeted politely, was welcome with fresh ice cold coconuts & cold face towel. what a relief! we arrived at koh samui after a hectic 8.5hrs journey from hat yai via road. suite was clean, new and inviting. we had a low floor suite, which also has the amazing huge pool next to our room. staff were courteous, i'm very impressed as the staff practice no shoes policy when entering to guest suites, feels like home. requests for amenities like extra guest card & adapter wall plug were promptly delivered. overall it was a pleasant relaxed stay for us at karikayan with good to excellent service particularly at front desk, with helpful staff to help things along. excellent -sized junior suite and magnificent pool. would definitely return again.

Fantastic getaway”
From the airport pickup we knew we were in good hands. The driver was waiting for us, had cold scented towels and bottled water waiting for us in the car. The resort was not too far from the airport - a 15 minute drive. The staff checked us in quickly and welcomed us with orchid garlands and (my favorite!) a cold refreshing coconut! We had booked a one bedroom villa, but were upgraded to a honeymoon villa - HEAVEN! Dome, the general manager, was all smiles - one of the most helpful and pleasant people we have ever met while traveling. We rented a car for one day to sightsee around the island, Ek at the front desk had the car rental company bring the car to the resort-very easy! The hotel offers a free shuttle to their sister resort in Chaweng, and there you can sit on the beach and use their facilities. We were only a little disappointed that our resort was not higher up in the mountains to afford a view of Mae Nam beach from the villa. Otherwise we enjoyed the villa immensely. The breakfast brought to our villa daily was beautiful and delicious! We also ate one dinner in the restaurant, which was also excellent. We each had a few treatments in the spa, which was a good value, especially as they give 20% off the hotel guests. The therapists and products they use were very good. All in all, the hotel is highly recommended and we can't say enough good things about the rest of the staff.

Perfect hotel with great staff”
When we go to Koh Samui we go to Kirikayan in Mae nam. Saza gave us a great welcome and we had a lot of fun together. But all staff is very friendly. The rooms are big and clean. The hotel is in a quiet area . Go there if you want to relax.

Beautiful hotel in a good location with exceptional staff”
We stayed for a week in a sea view jacuzzi suite Pros It is a beautiful, very clean and well maintained resort. The hotel suite was massive with a full fridge, three balconies, many cupboards and a jacuzzi room. Nice pool with swim up bar and sun loungers. Excellent quality cocktails with a 241 happy hour at lunch and then again in the evening. Very accommodating and friendly staff Good breakfast with both buffet and fresh order options. Free transfer between Mae Nam and Chaweng so you can make the most out of both areas. Down the road from a top trip advisor rated French restaurant. Cons The beach was a good 20 min walk, which was absolutely fine for us. But it's worth making note of this if you have mobility issues or children to kart around. The shuttle drops you right at the doorstep of Chaweng beach though. We loved our room and had nice views on all three balconies, but calling it a 'sea view room was a bit of a stretch as you could only just glimpse it.

Received an upgrade to double bedroom villa. Bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom are spacious. In-house pool is very nice and clean. Staff is very helpful to show you around and advise on your trip in Koh Samui. Room and garden service are very excellent. A wide choice of breakfast. Wife hotspot is fast and connectable. Good resort for family and couples. Love to come back to Kirikayan!!!

Love this resort overlooking the hills”
The suites are very spacious, a real luxury, value for money. The pictures advertised on websites are exactly in the suites or villa. The architecture design is great, appreciated the fine craftsmanship of landscaping & buildings, very characteristic. Loved the main swimming pool, nice scenery overlooking the hills. Away but walking distance to Lamai Beach, however may use facilities at Kirikayan Resort @ Chaweng beach. This resort is very suitable for families, spacious enough for kids to move around. Wifi connection is good. Would love to visit this resort again.

Wouldn't Hesistate”
Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly faces. We were then promptly shown our villa. The ambience of the tropical orient is evident nearly every which way you look. Our villa was extremely well appointed; separate bedroom, two living rooms, kitchen, two bathrooms, private pool and car space. Even when the do not disturb sign was outside they still left us with bottled water at the front of our villa every morning. During our stay there was a rupture in one of the main pipes heading out from mainland Thailand to Koh Samui. This did disrupt the electricity supply to our villa. During this time though the staff were extremely apologetic and helped in which way they could. There is also a nice little restaurant amongst the villas and the staff there are friendly and attentive. It does cost more than street food but this was service with a smile. I would stay here again.

Lovely villas with excellent service”
We had a lovely stay at the Kirikayan Villas. The villas are great and the privacy is brilliant. The only bad thing I can say about the villa is the shower/bathroom is in desperate need of updating. The water dribbled out of the shower rather than ran, but other than this no complaints. The service from the staff was outstanding and they would help with anything you required. There is also the complimentary shuttle bus back and forth from Mae Nam to Chewang which was brilliant. The restaurant or room service food in the hotel was also great. Being able to have breakfast in your villa daily was also great and we had no problems with getting what we ordered each morning. All in all a great stay.

Quite nice but still have improvements on facility”
Sometimes the door lock is not working properly, in that cases would make us unable to get into our room that may cause some procrastination toward our scheduled activities. On the other hand, the purification system of the bathing water should have some maintenance since the water is quite "in a dirty" way in comparison to the clear and safe-considered quality. However, the overall of the service is excellent. We not only had a great time interacting with the reception, but also the shuttle bus service. The arrangement of Kirikayan Luxury Pool Villas & Spa Hotel is also astonishing. We really had fun with the spa experience and the sunbath by the pool. To conclude our opinion, we also would like to recommend the place to all the travelers with limited budget but would like to have high quality of accommodation.

One of the best honeymoon location”
first day arrive at late evening. check in honeymoon villa, worst were water pump malfunction. lodging to the next 2 bedroom villa. no doubt the honeymoon villa were awesome ! worth every money if running low season or promotions. 2 person for honeymoon villa size 600sqm were speechless. huge: room, living area, gazebo, pool, jacuzzi area. travelers may email to communicate with the hotel before you check in for special request and with instant reply in the same day. no doubt, samui island were meant for full moon party and for alcoholic. perhaps is not a perfect choice for couples / family to shop. all the shopping hotspot or street shopping prices were to pricey compare to phuket / krabi or island amongst them.
