“Hot spring tour”
During my hot spring tour, I stayed at three different inns: Daitokan, Kamenoi, and Hotel Resort. Among them, only Hotel Resort had an open-air bath without a ceiling, offering a true outdoor bathing experience. Daitokan is conveniently located near the Yubatake (hot spring field) and provides a shuttle bus service, making it ideal for sightseeing. Kamenoi requires a short walk from the Yubatake, but it appeared to be somewhat newer compared to the other two inns. Personally, I felt that just staying at Hotel Resort and Daitokan was enough to fully enjoy the hot spring experience. For those traveling by car, Hotel Resort is especially recommended, as you can park close and walk straight to the hotel, making access easy. On the other hand, if you want to visit the Yubatake immediately, Daitokan is the best choice. Meals were satisfying for both breakfast and dinner, with quality that matched the price. Although the inns have a traditional, older atmosphere, the rooms were well-maintained and clean, ensuring a comfortable stay.
