Long time no see”

I used to use this hotel frequently before the pandemic. I was supporting the renovation project and planned to visit again after the pandemic ended. However, it was difficult to see the end of the pandemic and my voucher was about to expire, so I was worried. Fortunately, travel restrictions were lifted nationwide, and I was able to visit just in time. The front desk staff and shuttle bus drivers were all very kind and helpful, and they even provided me with a larger room than I had reserved. I had a pleasant stay and would like to bring my grandchildren next time. Thank you for your hospitality.

It was comfortable!”

Although it's a bit old, the room was clean and well-maintained. Amenities were provided, and there were various types of lotions and creams available for use, as well as makeup remover in the large public bath. They also provided a bag for guests to bring their change of clothes and other items to the bath, which was convenient. The breakfast and dinner buffets were satisfying and delicious. However, the alcoholic drinks ordered during dinner were more expensive than those at a regular izakaya. It would be nice if the accommodation fee could be a bit cheaper.

Great for youth group travel”

Not too far from Yubatake and there is a shuttle. There are many things to do with teenagers, such as bowling, swimming, and arcade games. The bed was a bit hard, but it was okay. The buffet dinner and breakfast were better than other ryokans.

Excellent”

The log house was charming, activities such as archery, the maze, bowling and the swimming pool were fun and food at the buffet was nice. The outdoor onsen was great and felt newer than the rest of the hotel, which is in need of some refurbishment in some areas. The log house is quite far from the rest of the hotel, but they provide a convenient shuttle service. Town is only about a 15 minute walk away, but there are frequent shuttles to the town as well, making the location ideal. I really enjoyed my time in the log house, but I would not recommend it to people with a fear of bugs or a dust allergy. It is out in the woods, so bugs finding their way inside is only natural. The sheets, bathroom and kitchen were all very clean, but layers of dust have gathered on the massive logs that the house is made out of. I was fine after taking an allergy pill, but I definitely needed it, so that is something to bear in mind. Unlike what was written on Agoda at the time of booking, there is no wifi at the log houses. Another thing to bear in mind is that facilities like the swimming pool are not included in the price. You can get a passport that lest you make use of most of these. The jacuzzi in the log house was nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend this place in particular for families and groups of friends.
