Very nice place”
Lotus Village is beautiful, quiet and located in the center of New Sukhothai. The rooms and the garden are really nice and breakfast is good. We loved the place but we were actually sorry we didn't stay in Old Sukhothai in a hotel with a pool: you will want a pool after visiting the Park and also if you have some time to spare before your departure. So absolutely no complains about Lotus, but I'd stay somewhere else next time. There is nothing to do in New Sukhothai at night, not even a night market, so I would not stay there again.

Comfortable garden resort”
Lotus Village made a great escape from the ugly dust bowl of New Sukhothai. The gardens are delightful, the bungalow was comfortable, and the breakfast good. Tried a manicure at the spa; it was rushed and not properly finished. If I found myself in Sukhothai again, I wouldn't hesitate in returning to Lotus Village.

Great location and service but poor sound proofing”
Great location in the middle of the city and 10 min drive away from Sukhothai National Park. Lovely hotel grounds - lots of flowers and trees to generate a very tranquil setting. Service was great - we were also given a map of the city and the park which was very useful. The only negative comment I would have to make concerns the lack of sound proofing in the otherwise very nice bungalows. We were actually woken up very early by people getting their breakfast.

Wonderful Wonderful”
This is a wonderful little oasis in the heart of Sukhothai City. It is an easy walk to anywhere you need, and the staff are caring and great. The owners also run the hotel, so it's professional and well cared for environment. i am already booking my return trip for the hotel for next year

A good place in Sukhothai”
Spent 2 nights in Sukhothai at Lotus village. Considering the major flooding they went thru 2 months ago, the hotel did a great job at cleaning and putting everything back to normal. We had a nice clean room and breakfasts were good. On the downside, beds are incredibly firm, somewhat like sleeping on the floor. But that may be only a personal taste...

Lovely hotel, great staff”
This was a wonderful little gem in Sukhothai with a very Thai style. The property is beautiful with gardens, the front desk people were very helpful and friendly, rooms were clean and breakfast was great! I highly recommend this place.

Bungalows in very pleasant setting”
A set of bungalows in a very pleasant green setting. Still close to markets, restaurants, shuttle bus to the old city etc. Although very close to the river the hotel grounds have not been flooded when I visited during the rainy season (many other places had to shut down). Simple breakfast with great coffee included, you can add extras for a price. Some reviews mention the robust check in procedure. I had the same experience but this just seems to be the nature of the owner. In fact I found all staff very nice and extremely helpful.

Lovely grounds”
We stayed here one night, in the new city of Sukhothai. The bungalow was nice and the grounds very pretty, peaceful and full of orchids. For easy access to the ruins, however, we decided to move to the Old City fore the rest of our stay.

Nice village-like resort”
the resort has probably 20ish villages, with nice setting inside and outside the room. if you have time, you can sit in the garden, have coffee/tea, and enjoy a whole afternoon. 10-15 walking distance to almost all the places that you may want to go in the new city. staff speak good english.

I really liked that hotel”
the hotel is conveniently located not far from the center of town, but just away from the noise. good food is only 5 minutes away and a lot to choose from. the rooms are nice and clean and the main lobby, breakfast, social area very inviting to chat, have a drink, surf the internet. the wifi does not reach every room, but it works and is reliable. when you check in all information is provided immediately, how to best see the main attraction of town, the historical park. the staff also can give you good info on buses, trains, you don't have to do any running around. the staff is anyway great. all in all probably the best value for money stay in 4 months of travel, if you prefer small personal operations instead of bigger, more frilly hotels.

Lovely, quiet bungalows with friendly owner”
this is a lovely little village in sukothai, full of charming bungalows. we arrived late and it was a little dark as we tried to find reception - which closes at 9pm (we almost missed them because our bus was an hour late) - but a very friendly lady took us to our bungalow. the bungalow was very basic, but it was very clean, as was the bathroom. as you are located outside of the main area of sukothai it is very quiet but a few mins walk gets you to the market, the night market or the taxi to the old town.

Elegant wooden bungalow in lovely garden setting”
Enjoyed being in Sukhothai and exploring the old Sukhothai on bicycle. Staff gave us helpful advice about sites to visit and booked us a tuktuk. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts but would have liked access to tea / coffee during the day. Good internet access.

Comfortable rooms in a beautiful setting”
This complexe of rooms and bungalows is situated close to everything while being in a very quiet area. The rooms are a fair size and clean. I took one with air conditioning but didn't use it as the nights were cool. The reception staff were quite helpful. The breakfast was good but choice was limited if included with the room. The grounds are very nice and peaceful. Good value hotel. No negative comments.

Great nature feel to hotel”
pleasant hotel - rooms are bungalows with usual air con etc (no tv). the eating/ bar ara is very pleasant - hotel in a kind of jungle setting - trees shrubs etc. if you are driving, it is difficult to find (especially at night when i arrived) and the staff finished at about 9pm so if you arrive later, i'm not sure what you do? however, they ar pleasant and friendly. forget the free breakfast - 2 small slice of toast - the only saving grace was the excellent pot of coffee. that was the only real disappointment.

Cosy hotel with friendly staff”
This hotel has quite good location, very close to day market (where you can stock up yourself with fresh fruits) and within easy walking distance from night market (good for dining). Few massage parlours are just next to it (hotel offers massage service on their premises, but it's quite expensive compared to outside services). Room I'd booked was quite big and spacious, wi-fi was working well, breakfast included was very decent and well presented. Staff proved to be very useful and helpful, my laundry was done super fast, rooms were done on a daily basis, so there was nothing to complain about. Overall, very good value for the money paid.

Beautiful traditional teak thai bungalows”
This hotel is very quaint. It has many traditional teak thai bungalows which are huge, and clean. The owner, manager able to communicate very well, and willing to help with any information required. The only problem for me was, no fridge in the room. Also didn't have a tv, but that didn't matter. Breakfast was very good, and served with a warm greeting and a smile. You could have dinner there also, but we opted to walk to the night market, which was only about a 5 minutes walk away. Would recommend this hotel.

Ok value for the price”
I loved the location: tucked away down a small side street but still close to everything. Contrary to other reviews, I stayed near the main house but didn't find it noisy- probably depends in the time if year. The grounds were beautiful ! My room was spacious but not very clean. The sheets were stained... I could tell the stains were old and they had been laundered but still ... Not pleasant. Overall I guess it was good value for the price.

Good location yet quiet”
nice breakfast. near markets. we walked from the main bus stop which was about 2.5 miles. or wasn't an exactly pleasant walk but we had been on the bus and felt like stretching. there were a bunch of tuktuks but they seemed expensive. look for the local bus which is close to downtown and near the hotel to save money.
