Nice hotel near meanam beach”
Its nice hotel, nothing fancy, stayed one night, bed was comfortable, room was nice,clean and everything was okey... Staff were extra hospitable and when around would return... 😀😃

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Location is just of the Main Street on the way to the beach (2 min walk) so was perfect for us. only negatives were the beds pretty uncomfortable and little water damage on the floor.

Even with discount bad value for money”
I stayed only 1 night in the resort on my way to ferry and I could not sleep the night. The staff was friendly and the room was clean yet very much worn off. It was missing simple essentials like glasses for a water (that was provided) or kettle. The room had heavy smell of mould and bathroom the drainage smell. Instead of promised garden view I had a wall of another building 2m outside my window. There was pour sound isolation I kept being woken up by people coming back and going away or going to smoke. Generally not a good place if you hope to have a comfy sleep after long flight to continue your journey, not for the price I was charged.

Disappointing, rude staff”
The night receptionist was very nice and helpful but the daytime woman who checked me in was not friendly at all, unwilling to answer my questions and was actually rude. This was the main reason why I decided not to stay here longer and book another hotel for the next days. The water in the swimming pool was quite dirty and most importantly on one side of the swimming pool there was a fence made of some ugly green cloth which made the whole area look like a construction site. I didn't see anyone swimming there during my stay.

Super stay for relaxation and value for money”
Hotel; Staff are excellent, always there to help if you require assistance whilst not being over-bearing about tours and excursions. Renting a motorcycle is easy and hassle-free from 200THB per day. The hotel itself is one of the best we stayed at in Thailand. Decor is modern. Pool is superb with plenty of deck chairs if you fancy chilling for the day. Rooms are large, modern and comfortable with all amenities you'd expect. Mae Nam; The area of Mae Nam is very relaxed with many restaurants and shops within 200m. The big draw of Mae Nam is the beach which is only 200-300m away from the hotel with sandy beach and crystal waters. We recommend eating at the Homemade Burger joint at the top of the side road (on the opposite side of the ring road). Overall outstanding experience at Mae Nam Bay Resort and would certainly return and recommend to all.

We Stayed at Maenam Bay Resort twice in our 3 week travels around the islands and enjoyed it so much! The staff is incredible - the pool and rooms are clean. There is motorbikes for rent (200thb). air conditioner was nice. The hotel has minor problems but it’s not something to complain about for the price you pay. We enyojed our stays here

Excellent value, great room, ideal for Maenam Pier”
We booked this hotel the night we arrived in Thailand as we needed to be at Mae Nam pier the next day for Lomprayah ferry to Koh Tao. We requested late check in online and gave our flight details so they were waiting for us when we arrived. Almost brand new hotel, good sized room, huge bed, wet room with hot shower (didnt drain so well but it was warm water so I wasn't complaining!). 2 minute walk to Mae Nam beach, mini mart and small bars practically opposite and about 20 min walk to pier. Mae Nam itself isnt much to write home about and wouldnt go there apart from to get ferry but if you do this place is the best value around for a nice room.

Worth the money”
We stayed one night. It's brand new and in fact there are still some constructions at the back of the main building. Budget price with hotel standard room and even breakfast. Very comfy bed and shower. The location might be a bit far but easy to get if you rent a car or a scooter which is a must on Koh Samui. Strongly recommend it. BTW, the lady who works for the restaurant is very nice.

We ended up staying here 4 extra days to what we originally booked on Agoda. The staff were lovely and rooms were clean. Close walk to maenam beach which was a beautiful beach. Great little Indian restaurant across the road and also a 5 minute walk to spices Thai restaurant which was delicious. Would definitely stay there again, great value for money!

Excellent staff, 5 min walking to beach, super clean, everyday room clean, water & fresh towels. Pool could be cleaned for use! Anyway satisfied and Maenam beach is the best beach if you want to avoid crowd and commercial activities!

No restaurant or tea/coffee in room but excellent value & staff”
Couldn’t be beaten for cost, location & friendliness/helpfulness of staff but was in no way a “resort”. There was a restaurant area indoors & out but it was unused & you had no tea/coffee facilities in the room either. Sheets & towels were frayed & holey but clean. The decking area around the pool is still being repaired & is uneven with nowhere to sit under cover at present. Having said all that, we stayed longer than planned, just be aware it may not be up to what you expect, but a fantastic little hotel.

Great little hotel”
I stayed here for a night to treat myself as I’ve been sleeping in hostel rooms for the last 6months and this place was the dream! If your looking for. Fancy hotel this isn’t for you but if you want a basic private room with a comfey bed then it’s perfect! Plus is so cheap, it’s basically the same price as a hostel so great value for money! The staff our wonderful very friendly and helpful. Make sure you check out the Indian restaurant opposite the hotel it’s amazing!!

Got a gd deal as we were upgraded to the family suite which was very comfortable with a separate living space and bedroom. Loved it so much that we booked the same room again for 2 more nights. Very nice views and walking distance to the night markets and beach. Heard from the receptionist that prices will be raised soon once hotel has finished renovations. Hopefully it will still be value for money.

Clean room”
I don't think you can call that a Resort, but it is a nice place to stay with clean room and service. One receptionist was really nice smiling lady and helpful. Close to the beach, restaurants (a good vegetarian, a Thai and an Indian one) shops and ...it was quiet at night. The rooms are simple, large enough, clean with ensuite bathroom hot shower and a good internet. Note, in low season the hotel restaurant is close.

The hotel and its service was good. However, as a muslim traveller, no halal restaurant around the area (Maenam). Only foods found in 7eleven.
