Peaceful , comfortable bed . Restful room. Food well you will dine here not just eat! Fabulous food. Host warm and welcoming. Only one night wish had been more. Prices very fair. Cons having a car would be a good choice. This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay!

I would not come here anymore”
We spent one night in this apparently nice hotel. The location is very nice and the receptionist really polite and kind. All the other staff don't speak English but this would not have been a problem if they would have given a smile. We booked a table for dinner and after ten minutes trying to tell them we wanted to eat (we also have a 2yo) they told us using google translator they were full. It wasn't true because then the receptionist came and gave us a table. The music also was too loud and we couldn't fall asleep until 11pm.

Idyllic River Setting”
After an 8 hour drive from Prachuap Kiri Kahn both my wife and I were road weary and hungry. This resort had been recommended by a friend. I am glad we stopped here. The meal was fabulous, the room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and most of all the staff were very attentive and really friendly. I will stay here again in the future.

Good hotel with Maeping river”
The resort is located next to the Maeping river, but the rooms are not near the river. Anyway, the view is good, the foods are good. They have 2 cats and 1 dog, they are so lovely. And can park the car under the rooms or in front of the rooms.

Thank you. We decided to put the restaurant on the riverbank, with the resort rooms just behind. More people (including resort guests) use the restaurant so it made sense to cater for the majority. The rooms are only a few seconds' walk away. We're glad you enjoyed your stay
Peaceful Retreat”
A good place to stop on a drive to or from the North, or as a peaceful getaway from city life. The rooms were clean and comfortable with parking directly in front of each room. The breakfast was prompt and delicious, with a chill vibe right on the Ping river.

Maeping Mango is a little way out of town - just over 2 kms from the main highway - but we hope guests find the extra drive is worth it. We wanted to provide a peaceful setting where people could relax. Thank you for your kind comments
Nice stay”
The cleanliness, the food, the room, and the privacy are worth paying for. Only that we did have trouble contacting staff from room's telephone (it was not working) and the staffs are not attentive. However, the view was impressive, and staffs at the restaurant were nice. The breakfast was nice too. Overall, it was worth the money. Besides the fact that it was quite difficult to reach for some service from the room, everything was very nice. Highly recommended!

If you stay here you will be very happy. The property is one year old but the landscaping looks like it has been planned for10 years. The location on the river and setting overlooking the river is amazing. The owner was everywhere and so proud of her place. The rooms were beautiful with everything first class. We ate a gourmet meal at the restaurant with a variety of elegant Thai dishes. The lighting on the property are so romantic that even a 70 year old Geiser was impressed. There was even a 4 piece band playing at dinner. Breakfast overlooking the river was also outstanding.

The rooms and the breakfast are based on what we like to see when we travel. The food is down to Khun Nichapa - she is an excellent cook and she has trained the kitchen staff to cook according to recipes and approach so that they don't present indenti-kit Thai meals. We planted the garden while we were still building the resort, giving it time to grow, and we left as many of the original trees as possible. With the garden and the riverside location we just had to have romantic lighting. We're pleased you enjoyed your stay. David A Co-owner

Great stop for a night on the road from Samut Songkhram to Chiang Mai. Nice people. Comfortable room. Park underneath your room. Dinner on the terrace overlooking the river. Took our own wine. No problem. Freshly cooked breakfast. Thai eggs were excellent. Only minor downside - unpleasant instant coffee. Decent wifi. No English channels on the tv. Short drive to the town and the markets and the old city. But nice to stay by the river.

I should explain about the TV: we don't, at this stage, have English-language channels as demand is small but we hope that the ready availability of free wifi helps make up for it. Location: at river with nice view for dinner and breakfast, of course a bit outside of town. Cleanliness: as good as it can be. Friendliness: the owner is helpful in any way and takes care of her guests. Rooms: functional and convenient, but bad noise isolation towards the neighborIng room. Food: we had a really excellent Thai dinner, the river fish is highly recommended. Summary: Highly recommended!

My first time here with family because I didnt want to drive 7 hrs in a row back to BKK. Just only us and another couple in the resort. The room is clean and the breakfast by-the-rever is also great! Only one comment here is that the hotel should have, at least, a sign on the main Asia rd. otherwise you wont find it easily.

The signage is a good idea but to cover both directions and the two main routes into town is a big investment for a small resort. Signage can be expensive in Thailand - signs are taxed and if they use English the tax goes up. Our website has detailed directions and we're happy to provide them over the phone. Quiet comfortable place with helpful staff”
Really comfortable bed and decent rooms. Staff could not have been nicer. I got very sick and they were kind in trying to take care of me. Great place to stop if you are looking for a place to stay while traveling. However quite far from the town if you want to explore the city.

The downside of our location is that it is about 5km from the city and about 10km from the historical park; the plus side is that the semi-rural riverside gives us a very relaxing atmosphere. It does help if travellers have their own car. We can, however, hire tuk-tuks (subject to availability) or motor scooters. We're sorry you were will during your stay

Though it located in a remote area ,close to the river bank, the room was acceptable with cleanliness and neat.The shower was fine with enough pressure.The food tasted awesome and the staff was in readiness. However , it was suitable with the guests who had their own cars as it located far away from the main road with complex routes to reach the site.

Ir's good to know you enjoyed the resort and the restaurant. The location has its benefits - mainly a serene, even romantic atmosphere - but, as you say, it is a little out of the way and difficult if guests don't have their own cars. We can, however, hire tuk-tuks (subject to availability) and motor scooters for guests who don't have their own transport. Thank you for the review
