Manali hotels & places to stay

Being a solo traveller, I was a little bit more conscious about my stay option, after reading the reviews I decided to opt for Snow Peak Retreat for my stay in Manali. I reached the hotel at 530 am, a good 6.5 hours ahead of the check in time. I had already made backup plans as to what I would do during the interim hours. However, as soon as I reahced the hotel, Mr.Guddu Sharma quickly gave me a room, where I rested for a couple of hours before I set out for my solo exploration in Manali. Mr.Rajneesh offered to accompany me on my solo expedition despite just having completed a long hauling shift.The room and food were top class, the staff is courteous and goes out of the way to help you out and make you feel comfortable. When I made a major blunder of leaving my wallet in the sightseeing cab at night, Mr. Jai accompanied me and helped me retrieve my wallet from the kind cab driver. He also dropped me till the bus stop,helped me board the bus, and left only after I was seated comfortably in the bus. Mr.Guddu Sharma, packed me some amazing sandwiches for my bus journey and refused to charge me for the same. The staff was particular about giving the best service to the customers.It felt like I was living in a home away from home. Definitely recommended!

Nice hotel to stay in a summer time but not in winter, no heater for the room, you have to ask the reception for it and do not hesitate to ask for 2 or 3 because it's very cold place when his winter time. But nice place to stay, staff are very friendly and serviceable, request anything and they will do they best to provide it to you. The hotel are located about 7km far from the city so you will need a taxi service to go in center, but the hotel provide his own taxi at anytime you need. Hotel are quiet and get a nice view on a hill, you are in a middle of a village that's nice... Room are basic and shower too, but good place to stay for a budget traveler.
