Na Muang hotels & places to stay

Jean-Marc and Odille run this tranquil walled compound of 4 new, spacious and clean bungalows. It is a perfect spot to enjoy Samui from - we based here for 2 weeks whilst we found long term accomodation. It has a nice small pool to hang out by but You need your own transport to explore. They only serve a breakfast but there is an amazing restaurant in the local village called Sweet Sister that's in walking distance. We would throughly reccomend staying here.

loved the hotel. home away from home. great place for relaxing stay. downside is it is far from nearly everything. recommend you rent a car. to us it meant having a great hotel for the pric verses an "okay" one on a beach. we made a trip to the grocery store, tesco lotus about 30 minutes away by car, and stocked the fridge. kids loved the private pool! food at restaurant expensive as a typical thai dish was nearly 300 baht. if you don't want to rent a car, hotel has a driver you can book to drive you at a cost. this is what we did. staff very friendly. manager was filipino and spoke excellent english. all of our needs were conveyed without any difficulty. great place to stay if you are taking lots of people. we had 7 in our villa and could have accommodated 2 more quite comfortably.

I didn't have much cash, and this was one of the cheaper places on the island. Really lovely. Fantastic clean little bungalow that had nicely sealed walls and airconditioning (not that we really used it). The surrounding gardens are gorgeous, and the little Thai family that run the place are adorable and super helpful (even lending my partner an emergency hairdryer). It is a little far away from a shop, but there is a little breakfast place over the road which had good food and a few other items for sale. Will definitely go back if I go to Koh Samui again...
