Old but clean”
I found the hotel to be clean but old. The hotel shares a swimming pool and fitness room with an adjourning hotel that was excellent. The location is well located in the city center with a number of decent bars and restaurants close by. I found that there was a shortage of taxis and tuk tuks at night time so not a bad idea to get a business card from a meter taxi during the day. I checked around the area and found that there are newer and better hotels at a similar price. Talking about price, the booking price I paid was the same as the "walk in" price so with the addition of card/exchange rate costs it would have been cheaper not to book. This is the second time within a few months that this has happened and as a result I have just phoned and booked a hotel in Cha-am and got a cheaper price than advertised on here. I hope that this review is printed as it is an honest review that I can prove.

I stayed here for 3 days and it was a nice stay, I hope staff would learn bit of English as I had to use google translator to communicate with them :). but despite that I enjoyed my stay in this hotel and the restaurant inside the hotel was good too. very good Thai breakfast .

A mediocre hotel in a small town.”
Little outstanding about this hotel, either good or bad. All looks better from the outside than from the inside of one's room, which is a bit run down, maybe. The breakfast buffet was meager both days I was there. Limited selection of foods with all being cold, no orange juice, etc. The second morning I was there, there were no eggs, nor any of the hotdogs they cut up and boil and call sausage. An additional complaint, hopefully specific to the time of my visit, was that the bathroom in the room I was in smelled like a woman had recently given herself a permanent in the bathroom sink. The bathroom, and even main room, smelled badly of hair chemicals the whole time. Would I stay there again? Maybe. It's cheap, and a place to sleep for the night. But I have a hard time at rating the hotel very far above five on a scale of ten.

You get what you pay for”
On check-in they didn't have my booking, the reception didn't speak English, if it wasn't for my Thai girlfriend it would have taken longer than the 20min it took to check-in. The bed linin was torn and stained, the pillows old and hard as rocks. Towels were old and frayed, shower had very little pressure and bathroom had many flying insects. There were a pile of plates with uneaten food from someone's room service that sat in the hall for over 24hrs, I saw one of the staff sitting across from the plates for several hours on her phone, when I came back that night she was gone but the plates were still there through to the next day. Breakfast had very little farang food, eggs, sausage and toast (but get there early as it will be cold otherwise). All that said and done, this is a hotel for Thai's, if you're looking for a cheap place to crash at night and don't mind stained sheets and hard pillows then this would do fine.

Dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at.”
This is probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It starts when you check in and have to deal with the unfriendly and unhelpful staff. They can't even be bothered to greet, tell you about breakfast times etc or how to get to the room. Once we got to the room we were shocked at how dirty it was. Layers of thick dust covered most things (including the cups in the bathroom) and there were cobwebs everywhere. The bedding was stained and torn and the bathroom has dirt caked between the tiles. After complaining the manager and a cleaner came to see us but seemed completely uninterested when I tried to point things out to them. We wanted to get a room at their sister hotel (Taksila) next door but they said that because we booked through Agoda they couldn't change the booking. We were offered another room which was equally dirty and had no choice but to take it. Breakfast is not worth having (they don't even have fruit juice) and definitely not worth paying for. It appears as if the staff here has simply stopped caring since the dining area is just as dirty as the rooms. I would actively discourage anyone from staying at this hotel.

I had bad experience as the toilet in room 333 didn't function well even after I called the technicialn. I was even horifued when I saw cockroaches running on the floor...
