Nippori hotels & places to stay

Enjoyed the stay here at Grand Nishi-Nippori. It's very near the Mikawashima JR Station so it's convenient to travelers who purchased the JR Pass. It also has a good location with a supermarket and 7-11 nearby. The family room we got are spacious with complete facilities. Really good value for the our money. Though we only have a brief encounter with the staff, everything that we needed we're all provided for. I would recommend this to families and groups of friends travelling together.

I stay here for 3 nights. And I found that I made no mistake when choosing Meigetsu hotel. About location, I used to take Joban line from Ueno or Nippori to get into Minami-senju. I have no problem when taking trains because you must walk at least 5 minutes to get to station from any hotel. For me, 15 minutes walking from Minami-Senju stt to Hotel is no problem. There is a lawson 100 yen shop on the way. I can not find any better price than this hotel.

as a first-time-solo-traveler, I tptally recommend this place. Great location, only a 5 min walk from Nippori sta. Easy to reach and get around from. Located next to a coin laundry (the hotel itself has a laundry facility on the 4th floor) and a sento (public bath), the walking route: Tennoji temple, Yanaka old city area that stands inbetween Nippori and Ueno. bed is comfy, staff is friendly and helpful, cleanliness is good. Mori-kun is a bonus.

Located in a peaceful area with a great supermarket & bakery nearby.. Nippori station & Nishinippori station are only 5-10 mins walk away. Lots of great restaurants nearby including a once Michelin star rated ramen restaurant. Lovely clean rooms, although the bathrooms are very tiny & the walls aren't completely soundproof. This was a major problem for us though. The staff & owners more than make up for any negative issues. Highly recommend this lovely guest house.

Small apartment located about 5 min walk from Machiya station, so location very convenient. Many eateries around til after midnight, including 24 hrs bento shop where you can choose among many type of take away food incl bento box, onigiri, katsu etc, with cheap price. 28km from Haneda, will cost around ¥11000 by taxi. 20 min by train to Asakusa. Useful info: 1. Reception closed at 10pm. You need to inform them in advance if you want late check in. After 10pm there will be no one in the reception so if you need anything, plan in adv. 2. Apartment very clean and new but no housekeeping during your stay. They provide powerful vacuum cleaner to use. 3. Im staying in Japanese type room, very spacious. Can fit 6 person. Do note that double bed in Japan is 140cm, so for 2 big guy, will be a bit cramped to share the bed. 4. Common space is where you sleep on futon, but curtain is paper thin so it will be bright in early morning. Those who like darkness better sleep in the bedroom. 5. They provide washing machine but no dryer. You can dry clothes on hanger in balcony. 6. If you need taxi esp big car, reserve the day before. In my case, i had to wait 30 min before being informed that they were fully reserved, and had to hail taxi under the rain, with smaller car, our luggage barely could fit. Not good if you need to rush to the airport. Overall I had pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at this guest house — perfect for an individual, pair or group of travellers who do not mind walking a bit ( 3 min from the nearest train station) and going up stairs(no elevator). Great exercise. On the street level, there is a toilet and a room for a group of people but just know that the shower is on the 2nd level. The 4th level provides a rooftop view from where you can see the Tokyo Skytree at night. My daughter and I enjoyed the local color in this quieter neighborhood that has some nearby restaurants , and convenience stores within walking distance. The host is nice and friendly. Beautiful artwork are displayed. Thank you.

This place is highly recommended! It is what it is as displayed in the photos. Location. Nippori is quite an underrated location. You feel like a local living in a quiet neighborhood. There are sufficient restaurants, bakeries, and convenience stores nearby. There is also a supermarket which can provide all your needs. The train station is not that busy but can you take you easily to West Tokyo (Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro) and to Central Tokyo (Tokyo, Ueno) where most tourists want to visit. Lastly, easy and direct access to Narita Airport, so you won't have a problem transferring to different stations. Property. New and clean. With large comfortable bed mattresses, comforters, and pillows. Has a cabinet which can store huge luggage. Modern bathtub. Fast WiFi. Would need English translations to operate some of the appliances though. Host. Very easy to coordinate with. Answers questions quickly. Definitely a great find! Will look for this if ever I get to visit Tokyo again! :)

For exploring east side of Tokyo (the museums in Ueno, Akihabara, not to mention Minowa itself), Sato San's rest is just perfect. There's good food in the neighborhood of "Joyful Minowa", and all essentials are 2mins away. It's safe, shows another, warmer side of Tokyo. Best of all, Nana the owner genuinely wants guests to feel fine. I will stay in Sato San again even if I had the money to spend on a month in Hyatt.

I had a great stay ni Business hotel Fukusen. Staffs are nice, they allow me to keep my baggage because i arrived early. When i came back at night, my stuff are in my room. Very clean hotel, had powder room and refrigerator in every floor. Free tea, water, towels, bath robe, shampoo, hair blower, body wash, wifi, free use of japanese bath, refrugerator and microwave.. You can also rent washer and dryer. There's a vendo machine. I will definitely stay here again.

Gd location, 15 mins walk from nearest JR station. Quiet neighborhood where no tv nor nite entertainment around. Cleanliness not to satisfaction; especially where area not touchable such as bed underneath; exhaust fan etc. Bed is combined by 2 table with separate mattress which is hard and suffered with back pain after used. Sofa bed is much more softer. Supposed to use 1 single double mattress to improve. Walkable distance to tourists street where next JR station Nippori connected. Big space compare to Tourist hot spot but Ueno area much preferred as more entertainment at nite.

Excellent Points: -Very clean and equipped with all the necessity you need for a Tokyo home stay. -Reasonable distance to JR and Subway station Nishi Nippori. For those travelling with Keisei Skyliner from Narita,your first stop will be at Nippori station and exchange 1 station away using Nippori Toneri Liner or JR towards Nishi Nippori.Getting around Tokyo also quite easy. - Beds accommodate comfortably 2 adults, 1 toddler and a baby. You will get 2 queen size beds. - Family Mart for snacks and AEON/Topvalu for kitchen groceries just located stone throw away (approx. less than 100 meter around the corner).I get all my fresh supplies such as eggs,fish and rice from AEON. For Muslim travelers this is a big plus which enables you to prepare your own freshly cooked meals. - Apartment size is reasonable and comfortable for family accommodation.Toilet with bidet and washing machine is available. - Near UENO,ASAKUSA, and AKIHABARA The downside is that the Wifi is not working at all!

Overall it was a great stay she gave us clear instructions about the place and communicated with us really well. The place is pretty spacious the but needs improvement with cleanliness underneath the bed was a lot of trash and some of the wall needed to be clean cause of some stains of things I don’t know and bathrooms two but if this will be improved this place will be perfect.
