With a little maintainance and cleaning this could be a lovely place to stay its right above walking street and not far from the river it was a little hard to find at first but we were new to the area obviously. All they need to do was dust and give it a new paint job as it hadnt been dusted for a very very long time and paint was in disrepair, that being said beds are comfortable and toilets clean hostess was friendly as were her cats.

Due to COVID-19 the hostel was clearly not expecting guests (i don’t blame them!) so renovation work was being done and the hosts seemed a bit off put by us staying. However, the cabin was nice, could do with a deep clean (thick with dust under the bed). We didn’t have contact with the hosts other than handing the key over. Hired a car to see the nearby national parks.

cute boutique hotel right in the historic center”
We loved staying here. It is a lovely restaurateurs old house right in the center of lampang. You can watch the walking street parade and market from the balcony. Our host song Songkran was most helpful and caring. We had a perfect stay. Please be aware there is no glass in the Windows of the historic building and you have to share the bathroom. No problem for us, just wanted to mention.

Great Location, Hard Beds”
This place is right in the heart of Lampang. It's on the same street as the weekend walking market. It is a 10-minute walk from the horse carriages. It is about 8 minutes from the local city museum and market areas. It is a 5 minute walk to the river and riverside bars. You can't beat the location! We went for the cheap room which was just over 400 baht with tax. This room was a concrete hut behind the colonial house. It is in direct line of the sunlight for most of the day, so it gets hot! It does have an air-con unit but it's not very effective. The room was small but very clean. The problem was that the beds were super hard! The mattress still had the plastic on so it was very uncomfortable despite the cotton sheets. There were shared shower facilities which were close to the room and clean. Overall, it's an OK place to stay, but the beds caused me to have a sleepless night.

Lovely heritage building”
Located right in the centre of Lampang’s old town in a beautiful old building. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The bathrooms are kept very clean. Easily reached from the train and bus stations using Songthaws.

This hotel is really cozy. They used the old colony house as the hotel. And many buildings here are colonial houses. nice experience to stay this hostel. owner's son can speck good English and seems he can be your friend here. I booked villa, not sure about other rooms.

Good location and comfort”
This hotel is like a home business. The garden room that I stay have private shower room. You must know that this hotel located in Kad Kong Ta that mean on Saturday and Sunday you can enjoy the market just only 5 steps from your room. For Thai people if u have car u must except the limitation about the close road on 4-midnight.

Friendly personal despite they don't speak English (only few words). But when we asked for a motorbike rental they drove us the next rental station. You can use plate, knife,.. From the outdoor kitchen. Only negativ: shower and toilet are a bit old and you will meet bugs and ants (it's more or less outside bathroom)

Amazingly beautiful historic building with unreal location. Free coffee and a little snack thingy every morning. AC was perfect. Also the owners are the sweetest couple ever, so welcoming, no English spoken, no worries!

Never come here again”
First of all, "Garden Twin Room" is not rooms that have good reviews. It is a hut in the garden made by concrete, no fancy and no atmosphere. It has half-transparent curtains that can be peeped from outside. Bed mattress is very hard and bended. Also it is wrapped with plastic cover and uncomfortable. The room is listed as 25m2, but actually about 10m2. What you see in the picture is almost whole room. Shower room and toilet are old Thai guesthouse style. Sink is dirty. No sheets and no towel was changed for 3 days. I think less than 300B is suitable for this room. This room was one of the worst experience for me. The owner, wife, was hostile rather than friendly. Her husband is a good man. If you are thinking about booking this room, I strongly recommend to choose other hotels.

Garden type rooms are very filthy, smelly and terrible. The floor of the room is a block, the humidity is severe, and it musty. The bed is hard and the futons are dirty. I stayed in the room for 10 minutes, but smelled and damp and moved to another hotel. The room is like a prison. The hotel itself is strange. Never stay overnight. The person at the reception is unfriendly and poorly supported. It's like throwing away money.
