You can dig the nostalgic Showa era in this town.”
I missed my flight from KIX, and then booked one bed for the night. It’s my first time to get the station off, but I liked the contrast between Abeno Harukas, the brand-new landmark building and this Noshinari area. The dining kitchen of this venue is clean and has cozy atomosphere. Although the bed seems small and quite close to the next ones, you can find it is very typical in Japanese accommodations 30-40years ago. Very friendly staff from Asian countries. I discussed about the nowadays situation in Hong Kong and other Asian countries with one of them. It was fun indeed. I will revisit again if I missed my flight next time!
Thank you very much for staying with us. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you again.
For a longer stay? ”
First of all, it has good value for money. You really can't find much better places with this price. The location is easily accessible (if not a bit hidden), and the facilities are fine. The cleanliness is a bit... inconsistent? I loved the shower rooms, but the kitchen and the corridors are a bit icky, found a few cockroaches and stuff. I've been out mostly so I haven't met the staff in person, but they were very nice and helpful in email exchanges. I think for a longer stay, one would appreciate such a place to save up a lot on accommodation.
Great place, budget friendly, near public transport ”
Great place, staff incredible friendly. Manager (Shu) super attend, cares for you to be comfortable. The atmosphere is wonderful, great space for socialize with other travelers. I've been several times, and they always make me feel like home.
Very good”
One problem with this place after staying for 3 nights. The ones not cleaning the dishes are actually the staffs (who works for free accomodation). Very often the pots, the pans were left inside the kitchen sink after they cooked. Then every morning there're a lot of uncleaned cups & plates from previous night.
social hostel ”
It is a nice little hostel where you will definitely get in touch with fellow travelers. It’s is not clean like a hospital but it is not dirty either. It is located in one of the cheaper areas in Osaka. I will come back for the 3rd time soon.
