Ok room with good central location”
Great location, you can reach the main street (the one following the beach) by a small street that start in front of hotel and pass by green mango. Daytime you can also pass through central festival in the shadow… Big room, ok service, safetybox at reception. Room facing main road could be noisy both for traffic then for air distance to green mango, but rear rooms face no roads and are quite silent to be so good located in the noisy chaweng. People at reception use to stay in a room at the back, doing their own business, so have to call them if needed, seems not so professional… but anyway they are professional. Nice price for location and room.

Affordable but loud room in a good location”
This hotel has many rooms and is quite cheap. The location is away from the beach, but still great. It is about 5 minutes away from the party venues (Green Mango, etc.) and another 5 minutes from the beach. Nearby is the Bongoes restaurant, which has cheap dishes and a great selection (the best in Chaweng as far as I could see) of vegetarian menues. The rooms are oldish (toilet is very small) but ok for the price range. On the downside, the street side rooms are *very* noisy at night. You think that you are next to the Green Mango. If you intend to go out every night until 2-3 AM, this may be ok, otherwise it is far too loud to sleep. The staff is ok, but after staying there for more than a week, they wanted 300THB to stay to 3 PM on the last day. After staying there so long, waiving this small overstay would have been courteus, to say the least. They rent motorbikes, but it's more expensive than in other places. When I told the staff, that I couldn't deposit my passport, as I needed the bike to extend my visa, the wanted a 2'000 THB deposit, although I was able to provide a Thai ID card of my partner. This was stunning, considering that no other rental does this and that the hotel had both a copy of my passport and my credit card information from the booking.

room over looked the road and had a little bit of noise; however the price was cheap, laundry close by, easy to walk through to chaweng and the many bars are on the shortcut.

Clean & basic hotel with a great location”
the hotel is easy to find and is in a great location for the nightlife, whilst remaining just far enough away to be quiet. the rooms are clean and spacious though in reflection of the cost are basic but ideal for the undemanding traveller - there's tv, fridge, a/c, en suite toilet + shower (wet room), and a balcony. the only downside is the free wifi is only in the lobby not the rooms. however the staff are friendly and helpful and the lobby manned 24x7. there's a few comfy chairs in the lobby area if you want to sit and surf the net, and there's even a water dispenser and a small library of paperbacks. my room wasn't cleaned / made during the 4 nights i stayed, however as i'm a tidy person this was not an issue. it would be worth asking at reception if you want your room cleaning.

OK”
Simple and basic hotel. Location is ok if you know the short cut to chaweng central/beach. For muslim, halal restaurant is very near (opposite nova samui hotel), just look for the signboard fareast halal restaurant on the road. However, at night it was very loud we could hear the music from nightclub,try to request for room not facing the road.

I've stayed here before and could not find another hotel that matched the location for the same price so booked again. Convenient for both the nightlife and beach, and just 10 minutes drive from the airport.

comfortable- short walk to shops/resturant/beach”
We initially booked two nights then after we enjoyed the resturants and beach we didn't want to leave! The staff were very helpful with the re-bookingh of the room for a further 2 nights. The internet connection was a little difficult to find at first- I beleive it depends on which room you are in?!Altogether a great experience I would stay there again.

Good location, nice basic rooms”
good location near soi green mango. helpful staff. would not recommend for light sleepers and sound can carry from nearby nightclubs. clean, basic rooms. towels did not seem very clean. ask for room on second floor as wifi does not work on third floor rooms. no elevator (have to carry bags up stairs). 24 hour family mart next door.

Pleasent stay in a nice hotel”
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel The rooms are very spacious with king sized bed, and it had a large balcony, It is situated away from the noise of the nightlife but still within walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful. This is not a five star hotel butit is comfortable , clean and extremely good value for money

Its alright for those on a budget”
It was alright for the price. Just needed to stay a night here to take an early morning ferry. Staff was nice and friendly enough. There is a Family Mart right at the roadside of the building. The door on my balcony could not shut fully. Probably the one way was to change rooms but I had already settle down into to room and didn't want to move. So i lived with it. Didn't matter much after many chilled beers went in.

cheap hotel, good location and very loud”
the hotel is cheap and worth the money it is perfectly located when you want to join the nightlife but this is also the biggest disadvantage because it is located next to the famous disco "Mango" therefore it is hard to sleep when you really want to. our room was with look onto the road

Great location, decent rooms”
For me, all I needed was a place to lay my head. It did just that. Nothing fancy, rooms are kept clean as long as you put the tag outside your door requesting service. Get a room facing the street if possible, the rooms on the back side do not have the best of views.

Close to the party but not too close”
Wicked. Bed comfy. 2 minute from the main strip where the bars and food are. Everyone always writes critical reviews about these places. Did the job perfectly. Would stay again. No pool but go to the beach

Dorm feel”
The room doesn't look like a hotel to me. Opposite, it looks like a room that used to be a dorm or student apartment. I saw black spots on my towel, blood spot at the bed sheet (not fresh blood but like not washed off properly). Even pillow has a spot. Furniture is old (cabinet). Bathroom is fine I have no complain but overall, I wouldn't pick the place again. The displayed picture on Agoda is so much different from real. The door has gap under and the bathroom has a small gap for window. I can hear anyone talking or smell ppl smoking in front of my door. The only good thing is the price is quite cheap and the location is near the van station where you can take to go back to the pier. Oh and not that far to the beach. That's it. I think the hotel really need to change the displayed picture so that they won't mislead customers.

fine for solo traveller. interesting walk along street with many massage places. no inroom safe, old tv but whoo wants to come to samui to watch tv anyway?
