Lovely staff”

Amazing, friendly staff who organised us a lovely honeymoon cake as a surprise. The food we had was lovely and we enjoyed the room, very clean and comfortable. We would stay again, very central location. Only con was overpriced taxis but we managed to organise our own at a fraction of what the hotel was quoting. Plenty of outside operators to choose from.

I have stayed 2 hotels of Amazing Hotel &Resort Group in Bagan and Inle. I much impress with the sophisticate of manager, the way caring guest, interior and outside decor, amenities items,... distinct and characteristic. They allowed us check In early and checkout late with no fee. The staff was Very very friendly and enthusiasm. It is completely deserve with the price. A weakness is a status of so many mosquitoes.

I cannot fault the staff: they were friendly, anticipated my needs and did all they could to help me. My room was spacious and clean. I loved receiving a small snack each night when my bedding was pulled back. Breakfast had a wide choice of food and eating it on the deck over the canal was a lovely start to the day.

This hotel needs changes at breakfast”

Good hotel great location however breakfast buffet is OUTSIDE and it was freezing. The food was cold, plates freezing so all food you put on the plate immediately went cold. Suggest they move the buffet inside except for cooking of eggs and waffles.

Stay was short but found the Hotel rooms to be very clean and comfortable, very clean. Spa shouldbe promoted more, have to say excellent. Wi fi although free sometimes was hit and miss. The area was very peaceful ................and location was excellent !

Smart hotel for a comfortable stay”

The hotel is a smart and well decorated hotel in Nyaung Shwe. It is well located and within easy access of the pier, shops, restaurants, etc. There is some noise from the road. The internet is erratic (but that is normal in Myanmar). Overall this is a good quality hotel with nice staff and good service. It is tastefully done.

Truly amazing”

It really was amazing! This hotel was quite expensive, but it was worth the money. The breakfast was a 5 course meal, and absolutely delicious that I was so stuffed by the end of it. I didn't even know there was breakfast with the hotel. When we arrived, they had a fresh fruit plate waiting, and some brownies. The room was really great quality, and quite new. The decor was very nice, and the overall ambiance was great.

Best of the accomodation we had anywhere in Myanmar. Retained Myanmar feel throughout and with high quality fittings. Wonderful to return to a cool room after a day on the Lake or surroundings. Stayed 5 days, happy throughout.

Special staff,wet location”

-track upon arrival,what to do here on two hole days?And electricity was down when we came,just after noon.But the little very warm and dedicated leader of the reception made the day.Her exellent ability to spot what guests want,sent us on a non touristic tour with a fisherman early the next morning.Roughly half an hour paddling through the silent,meditative silent floating gardens of Inle Lake,mingelaba to a lot of warmly welcoming people on the route,same with aprox.1,5 hours walk to a saturday market,and back another route to the fishermans paddling boat.An unforgettable experience!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff”

Air conditioning made a squeaky noise but after informing staff they changed us to another room. Would have been nicer to have a buffet breakfast rather then having to choose what you wanted the night before - not so sure about mushy peas with Snglush breakfast. Hotel beautiful and very clean - staff very happy to help.

Needs a bit of a revamp”

We were happy staying here given the discounted rate on Agoda but our room did look a little worn and the overall impression is definatly not one of luxury or a boutique experience. On the plus side everything was clean, the staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay. The only other comment I have is the slightly strange breakfast options. We had a choice of 4 set menus, chosen the day before - American, Shan, local or mixed. Sounds good but the American was dull and Shan/local was very heavy on carbs. Loads food but too much rice, crackers, etc. You aso get bread and pastries. Neads some tweaking.

The hotel is nice, clean and spacious. We called the hotel in advance for bus terminal pick up and early check in as we took the night bus to Nyaung Shwe. The room and the driver were waiting for us the moment(about 430am) we reached Nyaung Shwe, even though the check in staff will only be coming in at 6 am. The bar opposite the hotel is very good too, would recommend.

A wonderful experience for us”

1. The early check in. Due to the bus time, I knew that this will be an issue for me. However, the hotel staff was nice enough to help us in at 4am and wait (Sleep! Pillow and blanky provided) till 6am till they can help with our early check in. I felt so honoured. 2. The decor and room condition This is one hotel that really put every detail into account. I love the fact they prepared small notes to wish us the customers well, and even thoughtfully left us with some dessert when they clean the next day. We even got some fruits even when we checked in early. The room was nice and clean. I just think the plumbing needs some checking. Hot water can run out too (which was a big prob for me. It was just too cold! T_T) 3. The Staff They are FRIENDLY and VERY HELPFUL! Even when they had some problem understanding my questions due to language barrier, I still believe that they tried their best to make sense with some body language involved (and some sketches too. ahah!). Little tips: Use simple language, try focus on the main verbs and nouns needed only. 4. The location Couldnt be better. With the nice coffee in front, The Golden Kite and The French Touch nearby, lots of other cafes to enjoy, I cant be happier. Even the hotel provided good food too. This hotel was also 5mins walk to the bus station (May Gate, the place they dropped you usually when you took night buses). Lots of other places and attractions are in walking distance. I will definitely recommend this place to other people. Eventhough it might be a little bit pricey than other places, it is worth every of my penny (or cents).
