Central position in Kinpun with easy access to Golden rock”

Bang in the centre of Kinpun, with trucks up to Golden rock mountain and pickups down to Kyaihtio both just steps away from hotel. Nice and comfortable room. If the price is acceptable for you, this is a convenient options to stay at.

Perfect location for the golden rock ”

Very nice western standard rooms, gorgeous bathroom. Perfect location for the golden rock, located next to the bus shuttle to get you up the mountain. Only bad thing is the breakfast was absolutely pathetic. Buffet set out but no actual buffet, you could pick rice or noodles. Definition of all the gear but no idea!!

Location ”

Well location next to the truck to go to Golden Rock, and also close to bus station. We were take a bus from WIN EXPRESS which suppose to drop in front of the hotel but they drop us somewhere in the world which we need to take a private taxi 8000 kyat by ourselves. DON'T TAKE WIN EXPRESS

Nice hotel, lively location”

Much needed comfort after a long, long journey. Huge room and helpful staff. We arrived as celebrations in the town were kicking off. Boy, those Burmese can party! Their enthusiasm took them through the night and into the next day. Great people but bring ear plugs.

Good central hotel with some limitations”

The very center of town, right next to the truck station for the ride up to Golden Rock, the single and basic rooms have shared bathrooms (there are other rooms down the road), and can get noisy early in the morning as pilgrims arrive on buses and vans and take trucks up the mountain at 5am. Otherwise OK, better than the guesthouses along the street, maybe not as good as the more expensive hotels around and outside town.

Centrall located hotel good for accessing mountain”

Can't get more central than this in Kinpun, the access village for the mountain and Golden Rock. Surprisingly quiet, as not much traffic at night. New hotel, with smallish rooms with shared bathrooms, as well as bungalows down the road. Wifi works OK, breakfast not too bad. Just 1 minute across the road to the bus station and truck dispatch point for the rock.

Bungalow long way from main building and town.”

Was not expecting being so far from town and main hotel. This was very unusual. They did shuttle us back and forth from main hotel but no phone in room so had to arrange in advance. Basically, isolated out of town.

Location is key here”

Located at the base of Golden Rock, the location can't be beat. Coming from Yangon on a 8:30pm bus and arriving at Golden Rock at 12:30am, I just wanted to wash up and get straight to bed. You literally step off the bus and the hotel is right there (remember to get a bus to Kinpun, which is the mountain base. Kyaiktiyo is about 15 minutes away). I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities, it was absolutely sufficient for a night. AC was on blast when I entered and more than enough room for one person. Having stayed at hostels before, the shared bathroom was fine, it was clean and spacious with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. I've seen much grimier places. I also had breakfast the next morning and ordered the stir fried noodles which was also very tasty! For a hotel breakfast in Myanmar, It exceed my expectations. Staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. Yes, this is more expensive than other places, it isn't a 5 star by any means and people just need to reset expectations. You are definitely paying a premium for the location here which is sandwiched between the trucks that take you up Golden Rock and the bus terminal to take you to other cities. It really can't be beat.

Very clean room, a room with share bathroom for me it's valuable. Air condition room,LCD TV, bottles of water, soaps, toothbrushs, clean towers and ropes. Good service, breakfast for me it's not bad for this price. 50m to Golden Rock truck station, 100m to bus station to Yangon.

Good hotel, but should be cleaner”

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Helped us a lot with our transportation to our next destination, which was quite a hassle as it was water festival. Bathroom could be cleaner and the kitchen as well, as we got food poisening.

Surprise”

The staff there were very helpful and friendly. Short distance away is the bus station. For those who are unable to eat local food you can bring your own instance noodle to cook yourself or ask the outside stall to cook and add eggs.

the best in town”

Actually, they have 2 areas. The 1st one is for normal hotel rooms, placed right beside truck station. The other one is for bungalow rooms where you need to go around 1-1.5 km(s) further from the main hotel. I suggest not to book bungalow because of its unsafe (my opinion only) since it is placed far from downtown & no bodyguard at all. It means anyone can access. I myself booked bungalow & need to deal with staff to back to main hotel which is better. F&B is so so. These staffs are kind & supportive. Clean room I must say!

Nice hotel on the roundabout on the main street of town. I had dinner and a beer watching over the main street, the bus station to golden rock is just up the road. My room was nice, twin beds with nice bathroom, OK breakfast.

I highly recommend this place”

I had a lovely one night stay here. The staff were extremely helpful in helping me figure out the route for my walk the next day, and showing me where I needed to go for various things. The rooms were very clean and well presented. I had the cheapest option, which had a shared bathroom, but this was also very well kept. Over all a fantastic hotel for the price.

out of expectation stay”

the hotel located opposite of the truck station to golden rock but the room that i booked is superior bungalow which is need transfer by the hotel receptionist using motorbike. there is no wifi, tv & anybody standby there!!

Practical place and nice staff”

We stayed at a bungalow, which was not in the hotel main building but about 5' away. It wasn't really a problem, we had our own shower and toilet (which would not have been the case otherwise). Everything was clean, there was an A/C and the staff was nice and helpful too. Would stay there again.

Good location with new and clean room”

We stayed there only one night, but it was great. I think it's better than staying at the hotel above nearby the golden rock mountain since price is cheaper and room is cleaner. We woke up early in the morning to catch the truck by 6am and reach to the golden mountain before 8am
