what a perfect retreat!”

it was perfect! service we have received was amazing! i put a small request on my Agoda special requests when i booked. it's going to be my friend's birthday, that's why we decided to plan a trip to Myanmar. i was expecting for them to print it out and place it just on the bed but what happened was, my message was made rose petals all throughout! i couldn't believe it! it made me and my friend so happy! definitely something to remember! the staff were very warm and always had a smile every singe time. food was affordable for a resort setting. the view was perfect, lake in one side, and mountains on the other. had a lovely time!!!

Marvellous”

This place is very nice, once we reached there by boat, we were attracted by the nice surroundings, polite staffs and the peacefulness of this place. It is a very nice place for photography, peaceful, relaxing, and the chalet is big and clean with balcony where you can relax and a big bathroom with tub, you can soak in the bathtub and at the same time looking out the windows at the nice surroundings. Breakfast is okay, not bad in fact. Dinner have to be taken in the restaurant unless you want to leave the place by boat in the dark. But the price of the food offer was not expensive, is quite reasonable, at least I do not feel that they are overcharging because you have nowhere to go. Serving staffs are all very courteous. Overall really like this place very much. I really cannot forget the nice experience there.

Great hotel, painful location”

We should certainly have read a little more about this hotel before choosing to stay there. We did not realise that 'floating hotel' was so literal... Your only connection to land here is by paying a boatman every time. This limits your food choices to the hotel restaurant which, despite having good food, is far overpriced. It also means that once you're in the hotel there is not a lot to do. As a couple who like to see and do things in the local community as much as possible, we didn't really enjoy this hotel as much as honeymooners or retirees might. The staff were generally good and very welcoming. For a two star establishment, it certainly outdoes itself in terms of service.

what a great hotel”

from research on the net, i already knew being in inle lake was going to be amazing. but it really takes you being there before you recognise how beautiful things are in the lake. it is even more exceptionally beautiful thanks to this hotel. in the middle of nowhere, the hotel offers such great views of the lake and it lets you BE in the lake itself which is amazing. the only drawback is that there is absolutely no other food options besides eating in the hotel's restaurant which charges at nearly 2 times more than the local options which are already 2x overpriced for locals. so my tip? bring your own food.

Floating Hotel on the Lake!”

i stayed 3 nights in this floating hotel and it turns out to be a good decision since i enjoy the cool air and quietness on the lake. the room is not luxurious, but i love its bamboo walls and numerous windows facing the water. the only downside is that the hotel is pretty isolated, you have to take a boat to everywhere, even the hotel next door. that also means you have to eat in the restaurant if you don't have your food supply. the food in the restaurant is quite expensive and with limited choice. i tried the fish from the lake, it is ok but i think it is a bit overpriced. overall, the staff are very friendly during off season, they even offer free wifi in the lobby (if there is power supply and the weather is good)

Resort”

For three nights, we were the only four people in the resort. Kitchen service was slow, with one meal coming out at time, and 3-5 minutes before the next person's meal. Breakfast and dinner were like this. Beverage prices were to high.

Best & excellent staffs, Beautiful location, I will not stay at any other hotels in Inle even if they pay me to stay. Paradise Inle resort is the only hotel that meet all my requirements to enjoy Inle”

I stayed at Paradise Inle Resort in 2014 for 3 nights. I fell in love with this little hotel built in Traditional way on the water and booked again to stay longer this time. It never fail to make us fall in love with this hotel more. This fantastic is surrounded by beautiful breath taking scenery of the Inle lake and its mountains. The individual huts built for guests are very beautiful traditional design and it moves and sway gently when waves came to lake shore and move the water underneath. All rooms are equipped with clean bed, bath room and toilet, all necessary furnitures and own private balcony to enjoy the view of the lake and mountains. Staffs are extremely friendly and attentive. I have read some guests moan about minor insignificant details. In my opinion those who moan about this hotel are generally unhappy moanee who has no positive outlook and selfish self centre individuals who only know to indulge themselves without care for other especially the locals who are trying their best to show hospitality. For us, we will never go to any hotels in Inle except Paradise Resort which lives up to its name.

Perfect resort”

I stay here just one night and really want extend more but my plan already fixed. This resort is located isolately on the lake, great view for sun set and sun rise. Staffs are so frendly and nice. The room clean and beautiful

Nice hotel on the lake”

The hotel was impressive from the first time we set our eyes on it.There was a very warm welcome with traditional drums as our boat approach the hotel. The hotel complex was big and alot of rooms, each room is a hut itself. The scenery around is fantastic and you can catch great views of the sunset and sun rise from the comfort of the room. The rooms are very clean and spacious especially the bathroom. The small balcony is a added bonus and you can enjoy the lake view with a cup of coffee.Only issue is that the hotel is abit old and limited food choices.But overall a great experience.

One night is enough”

We were caught out as the booking defaulted to a price for single occupancy so we were up for an additional $90US for a second person for 3 nights. As all we got for this was a cheap breakfast it was a bit disappointing. It was also a surprise to find that the resort is in the lake (not beside the lake) and once you arrive you cannot do anything or eat anywhere else without taking a boat. Lovely location for 1-2 nights.

Our Stay in the hotel during peak season”

When you arrive to the place from outside it looks really good, at least better then we see other hotels. The sunset view from the entrance is spectacular also. The place in general is very nice but i would say a bit undeveloped. One thing they missing is TV in the rooms but that could be subjective. Rooms are very nice and cozy, plenty of room inside. Downside no twin beds for couples. Place is really missing some kind of entertainment maybe a pool table or some game room or live music would make it much better. Another thing since you are on the water and no where to go , you getting hammered by prices on food and drinks. In general the stay is very pleasant!

Great experience at Inle Lake”

My friends and I stayed at Paradise Inle Resort for 2 nights in late December. The weather there was very cold compared to other cities in Myanmar. The hotel has great location on the lake with fantastic view and ambience at dawn and dusk. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were good for the price. Overall service met our needs. Recommended.

Great stay”

Staff were very nice, support me with every quries. Food is quite good. Price is a bit expensive for me but over all is good. One thing to notice is that I booked a room with king size bed but i got 2 separate beds. It was a nice stay though.

Nice stay in this hotel”

We had a nice stay at this hotel.The staff was very welcoming and helpful (they helped us dry our laundry which we washed ourself because we thought the hotel service was too expensive). The room was nice,but we were disappointed to have 2 single beds when we had booked a queen bed.The wifi was also terrible.Finally,we were a bit disappointed by the restaurant.Lots of things on the menu were not available and during breakfast some items (for example fresh fruits) were all gone by 7:30am and not refilled.But in overall we had a good stay at this hotel.

Perfect in every way ”

We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful place. We can't find any faults as other people rated this hotel in reviews on agoda. This hotel is built entirely in water and it sways when gentle waves from passing by boats come. It was built with traditional building method of inlay people. So it's not like mechine and crane built

THE PLACE IS GORGEOUS...”

The only caveat is that it's in the middle of the lake - and once you're there at night, you're not leaving! That's fine if you're with your partner or a group, but not so much if you're on your own... Especially if it's the off season and there's almost nobody there. That's not a fault, but you really need to know it before booking!

Fair quality, not clean enough”

Inle Lake is nice and visiting there in December impress us a lot. Though the hotel is old but it's located in the Lake. small bangalows are surrounded the resort area but it's old and not very clean. Pls. prepare insect repellent if you are allergic to small insects/mosquitos.

Nice room and surrounding”

I've booked superior and standard rooms. Superior was nice but standard one locates too far from the front or even restaurant. I recommend you to book superior or deluxe to save your energy from that long walk.

Great!”

Great setting on Inle Lake. Staff were the best we had on our trip to Myanmar. Someone fell into the water as they were getting off their taxi boat, and within 20 seconds there were over a dozen staff trying to help. The setting is absolutely perfect - we had a very hard time leaving. Food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was great. Rooms are large and clean. Yes, there are some bird noises in the roof but it didn't bother us at all. The only issue we had was the shower backed up a bit.

to get anywhere you have to take a boat- which is good and bad; the resort is wonderful so being there was great, but you can't just go for a long walk, go shopping or go out for dinner; the staff were wonderful, the food was great, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there, an experience we are glad we had.
