Pleasant staff ”

We arrived quite early at the hotel and they let us check in without any extra fees. We wanted to rent a motorbike mid-day and they got us a discount. The staff was very pleasant and tailored to our needs. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. I would recommend.

Very nice place to stay”

The rooms are very spacious and clean, wifi is good and the staff is very friendly and helpfull. You can get a bicycle for free to explorer the area and/or bike to the beautiful gardens. Breakfast is good but doesn't have a lot of choices. We really liked our stay here and definitely recommend it.

Nice New Hotel”

We booked a Deluxe room which was a very spacious corner room with large windows and a small balcony that overlooked a nice rural scene of vegatable and garlic gardens. The beds were comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water and the room was kept spotless during our three night stay. Pyin Oo Lwin gets quite cool this time of year and we were offered a small electric heater that helped take the chill out which we appreciated. There were a couple of staff members that spoke good english and they were very helpful in arranging our ongoing travel. All the staff were very friendly and eager to please. They served a good breakfast. The hotel is located about two km from the city center. We enjoyed the more rural setting but the walk into dinner at night has some dark stretches of rough road shoulder to negotiate. Very near the hotel there were a few popular tea/beer shops that served up some pretty good simple meals like fried noodles and rice so that was a food option at night if you weren't up for a longer walk. Overall we enjoyed the location and thought the less frantic location was worth the walk.

a 2-star hotel with 5-STAR service”

Fantastic! beyond expectation. I arrived at 6 AM with outside temperature of about 15C, and the hotel did something that blew my mind. Not only it never scolded me by citing the normal check-in rule at 12:00, Instead, it offered us free breakfast, hot shower, and give us the room as soon as there is a room available. I was and am speechless with the owner and her staffs genuine hospitality.

My stay @ Royal Green Hotel was lovely. The staff were very helpful and the room was super clean with comfy beds. The only minor inconvenience was the shower, which was not hot enough for a good bath.

The Royal Green feels welcoming from the moment you come in! They are super friendly, you can hire motorbikes for a great price and the location is terrific for everything! I highly recommend this for your stay in Pyin Oo Lwin.

Great value hotel!”

Nice and clean place next to the street not so far feom the Botanic garden by car. Great breakfast for the price, the room is clean and staff are very helpful. The only cons is low wifi but doesn’t really matter whe you’re on the move but would be handy to have a fast one just to checkout some travel info from time to time, recommended!!

Excellent new hotel in Pyin Oo Lwin”

Loved this little treasure. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and they are also well equipped with a kettle and fridge and also cute slippers to wear! They thought out everything well. They will organise flights for you from the hotel too. Recommend it!

Fabulous Gem of a Hotel”

We booked a superior room and what a great little hotel this is. Large rooms, spotlessly clean, welcoming lobby and attentive, friendly staff. Great breakfast to top it off as well as good wifi. We wished we were able to stay longer.

Great place to stay for the gardens”

Good size room with everything we needed. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Rented bicycles to go to the Botanic Gardens and arranged taxi to Mandalay. So good we stayed in the sister hotel in Mandalay, The Royal City hotel, which proved a good choice.

Very pleasant stay”

The room was very nice, with comfy beds, tea and coffee and everything you need. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they were literally running after us to open the doors or take our bags. Breakfast was always a lot and very good. You can rent bikes for 2000 kyat (half day) or 3000 kyat (full day) to go around the city.

Excelente”

The staff went above and beyond for us - when we tried to find an Indian restaurant by foot but came back empty handed, they took us there on a moped without hesitation, free of charge. They also helped us with booking a shared taxi to Mandalay.

Clean, good hotel.”

Clean, spacious room and bathroom. Room has a fan if you prefer not to use the air cond. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast. It's not fantastic but still pretty good. Location is abit far from town although i'm not sure if being near town is necessary since we only stayed for one night. Restaurants is about 5-10 mins walk. Local food joint and convenience store is about 2 mins walk. Worth staying here.

Great stay in Pyin Oo Lwin ”

We stayed for one night after taking the train from Hsipaw. We were greeted with a welcome drink which was great after a long journey. The room was clean and bright. The breakfasts were great with both western and local dishes. I would recommend staying here. The location is a little out of the town, but you could hire bikes to get around.

Exordinary experience ”

We had a wonderful stay at the Royal green. The room was spacious, we booked a superior room and it was very clean. But the experience was made exordinary by the friendliness of the staff. They booked our bus to kalaw and helped with all questions we had. They even called our hotel there to tell, that we would arrive late in the evening. We felt very welcomed! So if you are looking for a friendly and lovely stay in pyin u lwin we strongly recommend this hotel!

Stayed 3 nights and had a pleasant clean room with amenities, though shower pressure could have been better. No complaints. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast good for Myanmar. Thought this was a good hotel, and did not mind being a little way from town centre. Would recommend and stay there again.

Great hotel for one night”

We stayed here for one night after the train ride from Hsipaw. It's a family owned hotel, very friendly and helpfull staff. Good room, good shower, good bed. Hotel is justviutside the center but there are 2 restaurants nearby (5 minutes walking). Hotel helped us with (shared) taxi to Mandalay for a reasonable price.

Great hotel located in a gem of a city”

Really nice overnight getaway from dingy Mandalay. Such a clean city in the mountains. The staff arranged a 2 hour colonial buildings/taxi tour that was awesome. The amazing botanical gardens are about 20 minute ride on their rented bikes or a $5 tuk tuk ride. They also booked us a night in thier simular fab hotel in Mandalay for later in our trip.

Nice option for pyin oo lwin”

Room standard was good and it's in a quiet area off the main highway. Some tasty local eating options just down the road. Try to book a room on the sun side of the building as otherwise it can be a bit cold at nighttime. Breakfast was pretty dismal and needs improvement. Internet best in the lobby. Be sure to spend time at the National Kandawgyi Gardens. Lots of fun to see the locals out on parade. Try the delicious tea leaf salad at the restaurant there. Also the Pan taw win restaurant on the way to the gardens is very good.
