Great value for money!”

We really enjoyed our stay at Valentine Inn. The room is very basic, but clean and definitely good value for money. Everyone at the place was very friendly. We highly recommend the Bedouin style dinner buffet (7JD per person), so much variety of food including kebab and vegetable BBQ :)

Just ok”

They were not aware of my booking made through Agoda, so it took some time for them to check in their system, which I can understand. But then they were chasing me showing other person’s voucher telling me there was a mistake in the booking and that I was supposed to pay 25% more, which I refused, and it was sorted out finally. They tried also to rip me off with 6% lower exchange rate, from the actual exchange rate you can get in the exchange offices in the city, so my advice is if you book this place make sure you have enough Jordanian dinars with you. Staff is not welcoming, not rude either, just ok. My room had no fresh air, as windows are placed in the corridor. They say there is hot water available only from 5-7am and 5-7pm, which was not the case while I was staying there two nights and anyway, if you do Petra sightseeing you will most likely cone back to the hotel after this time, so forget about hot shower, even if this happens to be true (which in my experience it wasn’t). The hotel is quite far from the historical park (40 minutes walk downhill) but on a positive side they offer free shuttle at 7am. Breakfast is offered at 2 jd, which I didn’t take but I saw they served enough food and it should be quite ok, as well as for buffet dinner offered at 5jd. The outside seating area is nice and quiet. Also while it is located far from the visitor center, the advantage is that it’s near the local bus station (10 minutes walk) and restaurants in the area are way cheaper than thise around the center. Overall, if you are traveling on a budget this could be an option for you, but do not expect much.

A budget room”

It was very cold at night and not very clean. WIFI was only available in common area. Walking distance to bus station, bakeries, few rotisserie( good chicken rice set for 4-5JD), and Petra entrance. Free shuttle to Petra, bus station.

Totally money-minded! Ughhh”

Do not opt for the dinner buffet. The dinner was supposed to start at 7.30, we paid early and we went there at 7.45 or something. By then, most of the items were already done by other people. Of course, people can eat as they'd have paid for it too, but the real problem is the finished items are never re-filled and you're expected to just eat whats left over. Only when insisted that we at least need some chicken (the only meat that day), they gave us two mostly-bone pieces. It was a total rip off. Do not pay any attention to the lady in the counter/reception (perhaps the owner or his wife; but not a staff; what do I care). She alleges that there are no places to eat nearby, but there are! - much better ones with cheaper price, down the road. She alleges that there are no laundry services elsewhere and pushes you for their super expensive 5JD per kilo laundry; the best part is she doesn't show the weighing and just says some round number. You've been warned.

Good Deal”

It is very easy to visit Petra when you book in valentine Inn, the staff will help you withinformation and trasfer car to the site, and the sunset from this hostel is very beautiful

Bom”

Had a decent 2 night stay here. Room was a bit dated, but clean. Had a fridge in the room which was useful. WiFi worked in the room. We got welcome drinks on arrival, which was nice. Staff were ok, but we booked a fan room and there was no fan in there. Asked at reception and was told that someone would put one in. Finally got a fan a few hours later. Nice view over the town and a good view of sunset over petra. We had the buffet dinner one night which was ok, not great food. And didn't really feel the breakfast was worth the price. Overall, a decent stay. Would stay again.

Staffs are friendly but not hot shower”

Have shuttle service to go petra and back hotel, but there is no hot water for shower and no network at room, but the dinner buffet at 5rd is nice, recommened

Run down and dirty”

Not a pleasant stay at this hotel. The carpet in our room was filthy, had stains everywhere. The woman at the front desk was very rude and didn't ever want to help us when we had questions. The bathroom in our room was TINY. When getting into the shower the space between the wall and toilet was so narrow your legs brush against the toilet seat. Gross. Restricted hot water hours and hardly any hot water when it was turned on. The paint was chipping off of the wall and the headboard was also falling off of the wall. Worst hotel we've ever stayed at. If you can spare a bit more money, stay somewhere else.

Incrível”

Very good WiFi. Excellent buffet dinner for only 5 JD. Ride to & from Petra each morning & afternoon. Packed lunch for only 2.5 JD.

Perfect for what it needed to be”

I stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Petra. The hotel was all it should have been accept for the fridge that didn't work in my room and the lack of hot water.....but who cares in summer, you get that on the big jobs. I walked back from Petra twice. Cosy stay. Cheap. Did the job.

comfortable hotel with good view”

it's comfortable inn with good price..it is situated on the hill and only a few minutes walk to the busy wadi musa downtown. besides, it have a great view of the wadi musa and petra. moreover, it provides a variety of tour to the nearby sightseeing.

variety of food are served in dinner at 5jd, while breakfast is below average at 2.5jd. room is old. water use is restricted for washing cloths.

Chambre avec 16 lits et juste une douche et toilette , pas de chauffage obliger de dormir en blouson , pas de prise pour le téléphone pas de wifi dans la chambre le pire hostel de toute la vie !! A fuir vous en avez de meilleur dans le coin

Mala idea ir en invierno”

Habitación helada, sin calefacción ni estufa (dos mantas) y sin agua caliente. La señora de recepción no era muy amigable. Lo mejor fue la comida, sin duda (7JD la cena bufet).

Nice place to stay.”

I spent 4 nights in here and everything was good. It's a cheap place but nice to spend your stsy in Petra. they have a nice patio with views over the city, perfect to chill out, the can prepare you lunch box to petra, nothing special but enough to survive the day. Breakfast and dinner is not included. Not expensive but I didn't took it. Is 20min half hour downhill to arrive to Petra by walk, but they have shuttle buses at 8 &9 am and al 5&6pm so is good specially for going back when you are tired.

Wi-Fiはロビーのみ可能。ドミは10人部屋タイプでベッドが横並びで間隔は狭い。私が宿泊時は少人数であったため、トイレシャワーは1個だが問題なかった。ホットシャワーがでるが排水溝はつまりがち。中心街からは徒歩5分もかからないが少し坂道を登った奥にある。ペトラナイトは宿で申し込むと無料送迎あり。日中は7時8時、帰りは17時18時と無料送迎あり。砂漠ツアーは40JDだが、往復交通費、入場料？5JDは追加で支払わなければならない。

スタッフいまいち”

トリプルルームとドミトリーに一泊ずつしました。やたらと夕食のビュッフェを勧められます。7ディナールだけど断ると5ディナールになります。種類も豊富で良いと思いますが、節約したいなら外でもっと安く食べれます。沢山食べる人なら十分元は取れるのでおススメです。 シャワーはホットシャワーで水圧も問題無し。Wi-Fiがロビーしか入らないのが欠点かな。あと宿のお金払ったら領収書もらった方がいいです。払ったのに払ってないと言われて少し揉めました。

シャワーはぬるいお湯しかでません。 部屋ではWi-Fiが全く使えません。 朝食、夕食をしきりに勧めてきますが、近くの地元の店で安くお腹一杯に食べられるので私は断りました。宿の人に会うたびに食事を勧められて少し面倒でした。
