Where to stay in Andaman and Nicobar Islands State
Andaman and Nicobar Islands State hotels & accommodations
I have never met such an amazing helpful and kind staff. Starting with the check-in at reception and check-out i just had great memories at the Hotel. I can not do justice with words regarding the hotel staff. They were simply amazing. Room: The rooms were cleen and well maintained. Great ambience and I can assure the comfortable stay with nothing but just great vibe...
This place should definitely be on everyone’s must-see lists, and I pray that tourists keep treating it with care and respect the wild nature around it! The resort is located at the best part of Radhanagar beach, and I have never seen such a beautiful beach before - with the water so clear and the sand so white and soft, perfect for swimmers throughout all day. The vie...
I stayed 3 nights in Munjoh and loved every minute. As a not-so-young female solo traveler I always felt safe and comfortable in a resort that included families, newlyweds and couples. Every day I did a different activity, including a bike tour along a fabulous beach and inland roads, snorkeling and kayaking. I toured the island by bike and by tuk-tuk, all arranged b...
Though the hotel costs in Andaman is comparatively high than other places..but staying at Symphoni was very satisfying. our room was booked 'cottage room" . But they upgraded the room to lagoon suit which was very close to beach. private beach is not bad at all. Buffet dinner & break fast was fine. Only missing swimming pool.
it's my second visit in Andaman and i have to stay there staff is so good rooms are neat and in front of the beach meeting amit there itself is a fun and he is very nice guy.
The resort is located in Beach No. 5, a perfect location with the option of a lot of restaurants and attractions around. The hotel itself is nicely decorated, there is absolute privacy between rooms. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, where the food was amazing. The hotel staff were friendly and very nice, they helped us with everything needed (exchanging money, b...
The location of the resort is great. The sea face is close by. Although a rocky beach, it is worth spending hours at the beach bench watching the sea change its myriad shades. We stayed at Andaman Lagoon and Andaman cottages. Both types of rooms offer value for money.....very clean and well maintained. The cottages are made of high quality wood. The washrooms are dece...
The best hotel and the best beach on the East coast! We’ve explored the East coast all the way from the jetty to the very south of the island, and can ensure you that Silver Sand beach resort totally has the one and only beach perfectly suitable for proper swimming there. The water is clear, so is the sand - the staff carefully looks after it, and even during the low t...
Our family had one of the best beach resort stays in the Coconuts beach resort. We booked 3 huts. Walking to the beach in the morning with a hot cup of tea and enjoying the nice breeze is an experience I will never forget. Sitting on the beach with my kids in the night, looking at the sky with not a single airplane or artificial blinking light in the sky, going over th...
The Flying Elephant Resort is one of the best in the islands. Pros: 1. Location wise the resort is presently the last resort on the way from jetty to Kalapathar Beach...thus you can enjoy full isolation from the outside world. 2. We were lucky enough to stay there on days which had clear skies. Lack of settlements and thus light pollution meant that the Milky W...
Hotel is well located near the airport and you can walk there! Staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much for them and the food was excellent and the staff and in particular Charan advises you on the dishes and the chef cooked the best fish in Andaman!! I would recommend you to book this hotel for your stay in Port Blair
Pros: Ranjith 9932567242 He is like an one man army who can help you out with anything you wanted He helped with each and everything. He treated us like a family If you don't believe me look at the reviews for this hotel "The Shelter" you'll understand Rooms make you feel you're at your home. Staff also so friendly. Must visit this place if you going to stay at po...
Nice clean property with polite staff. The view from the rooms is good and they are spacious. But there are a few things lacking. A working WiFi with internet is required. They had a WiFi which was not working and they did not even make an attempt to fix it. Secondly, the options in the restaurant were limited. The waiters and manager kept complaining about the difficu...
The hotel is located right at the sunset point on the island only problem was there was still some construction work going on.. however the staff and workers were courtesy and tried their best to avoid work during odd hours.
Pros: 1) Very close to jetty. 2) Close to sea with mind blowing views. 3) Supportive staff to arrange 2 wheelers and attend to any issues in room 4) Food was very good. Cons: 1) pickup and drop to be provided by hotel on complimentary basis. It's very short distance, they can easily afford and bring customer delight. 2) Wi-Fi available only near reception. 3) There ...
I booked this as a transit stay after completing my entire trip of Andaman before boarding my flight back. After experiencing their hospitality, I have only one regret that WHY I MISSED TO BOOK THIS FOR MY ENTIRE STAY IN PORTBLAIR DURING MY TRIP? . My wife and little daughter gave number one to this among-st all the different hotels we stayed during our trip. Definite...
It was one of the best resort of my andaman tour. Situated near vijay Nagar beach. Good beach and Hotel and staff. Everything fine
Nice place for one last Hurrah when you wrap up your Andaman trip. Rooms are comfortable. Food is good and service is reasonably quick. Breakfast spread was OK. The selection needs a bit more imagination. Wifi is non-existent, but that's so with most places in A&N. However, the credit card machine worked at the time of checking out.
Even after booked for 4 adult and 2 kids, they refused to give extra bed for kids. Had to fight for 2 hrs to get one. Without booking voucher, do not even travel to Andaman. They do not value our time and make us wait to resolve any small matters.
before checking in, we were seated at the beautiful lounge overlooking the bay. the view is breathtaking and makes one look forward to the stay. we had booked 2 rooms. for check-in, all our ids were photocopied.(senior citizens & kid included!) the receptionist told us this is standard procedure for andamans. strangely, we did not come across this "standard procedu...
kindvand very helpful staff. food was nice for lunch and dinner complimentary breakfast is not that great. wifi only in reception and Andaman has only 2g . 3g rarely some areas. here 2g was also bad. 10 min from airport. 4/5 overall rating
I have visited this hotel during my honeymoon at Andaman. Hotel staff is quite supportive and hotel reception is good. Internet at reception was better than other hotels I stayed Port Blair. Room and other amenities were good. No specific view can be seen from hotel rooms. Definitely recommend.
The place is amazing, MUCH more comfortable than the Emerald Gecko at Havelock. The room was clean, bed comfortable and hot water is available. The resort is about a minute from Sitapur beach (which we had mostly to ourselves). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and even went out of the way to arrange a surprise (rasgulas, as cake wasn't available on the is...
I was a bit apprehensive after booking the Hotel. But it was a right choice. The rooms and bathroom are clean. No insect or cockroaches as I read in reviews. The look of cottages was certainly heart pleasing. On top of that, the beach which is located just next to the Resort. It was raining slightly when I reached Havelock. I was informed that there won't be a...
Have you ever seen the view of a bay with rocky hill and a lighthouse printed on a 20 Rupee currency note? If you wanna enjoy the same view, you need to come to Andaman Ocean Breeze. It is not a hotel in its conventional sense.... owner claims it home stay...but it is even more than that! A true hidden gem in Port Blair, especially for the family people, who travel w...
Pros would be the location and food. The resort overlooks couple of the harbours and is very beautiful. It is close by to many attractions like cellular jail, harbours to reach Havelock and Ross island. Cons being it is not unmarried couple friendly.
We were disappointed from the moment we were shown our room, which was not like the one pictured, dirty with cockroches. I asked to be upgraded to the room actually pictured and they moved us, but the next day began hassling my wife and I to pay them more money. I spent a long time on the phone to their "travel agent" based in Calcutta who listed the hotel on Agoda an...
This property is rated as four or five stars on some travel sites but make no mistake this is not more than three stars. It is expensive and far from the main city. All said, the property itself is set amidst beautiful landscapes and the beautiful wandoor beach is just a stone throw away from the cottages. we stayed in deluxe rooms and there are more costly deluxe cott...
Booked Gold Star as interested in individual cottages. But due to off season the management gave Suite room in a hotel opposite to this resort for one night. later night i requested for change to cottages where they gave me a beach view cottage. The veg food is good but do not go for rice in these Islands. Staff are friendly Suit room is awesome, later cottage ion anot...
We traveled as a group with 2 young children & we stayed in Andaman Castle for 4 nights in Jan 2019. Andaman Castle was a good choice. The hotel is not perfect, it is not located at the heart of the city, it is tough to get regular transport - auto, taxi, bus, etc., but otherwise the stay was rewarding. Andaman Castle is located on the East coast of the island, the vi...
Cheap places to stay in Andaman and Nicobar Islands State
We had a booking, paid a fortune to get there to. E told they had no rooms. They did not help in anyway and we were stranded, with no internet in the middle of no where.

My overall experience is good. I traveled on the month of June, its almost rainy season started hence mosquito are more (i suggest take a backup of mosquito repellent cream, i could not get any in port blare shop) Pros: Very close by to catch the government Ferry. Emergency measure taken on the all floor. Cons: Rooms are...
Hotel owner and his son were gentlemen. They were helpful and they offered advance money of Rs. 10000/- so as to succeed my North Bay island day trip. They offered to use their computer and internet. They tried their best to book Jolly Buoy island trip for us. Their cars were in excellent condition and drivers were punctual and polite. Cleanliness was very good. Bathr...
Impressed by the facilities and services at property. Only missing was swimming pool due to shortage of water which was informed by property at the time of booking. Room was fine and indeed food was tasty a little bit costly. Family Stay was comfortable and we enjoyed.
Cleanest okay. Close to airport. A/C working well.
Wifi was inoperative. TV was not working. Frequent power outage and they don't have any generator back up. The owner thinks he is God and does not answer phone calls. The servant boy is not available even if you call. He does not share his phone number. There are 4 guest rooms and you get no service at all. Booking. Com and Agoda will lose their credibility if they co...

The owner mr Sebastian is very nice. The staff is very cooperative. During the entire trip of Andaman Islands , we could not find a genuine person like him.
This hotel was a pleasant surprise to be honest, nothing dirty, staff good, food a little limited from the restaurant, but what they had turned out to be tasty. It's a considerable way out from the centre which makes it relatively peaceful, it's elevated position catches the sea breeze and realistically, if all you need is a place to put your head before heading back t...

When we reached the hotel, the Reception staff flatly denied booking being there. The superior was reluctant to make enquiries even after Booking Confirmation Voucher was produced. We were directed to a nearby hotel, which was good. Within minutes, the Holiday Inn Staff came running and said accommodation will be provided in Holiday Inn. They gave us 2 double bed rooms...

Go for it if you are planning to visit cellular jail and near by market. it is very close to most of tourist visit places and rooms are also maintained nicely... it's purely a home stay and thus expect accordingly. Mr Nasir(owner) was very helpful in planning my itenerary to Havelock and neil island.

Self with family booked room dec 6-9. Reached hotel dec 6th for check in; no vacant room was available. star rating not given as we didn't stayed in hotel when enquired about matter reception staff informed it is technical issue related with online booking . This is hopeless place. It looked like an abandoned place. No cleanliness, no facilities. Worst place I ever had a stay. Agoda should remove this hotel from online booking.

I stayed in their double bedroom for 2 nights. The housekeeper was friendly and the room was very nice, with all the amenities one might expect. The view of the airport runway was wonderful. The location was a bit of a pain though, requiring a rickshaw ride to the city centre and there were not too many good eateries in the neighborhood. Some might be okay with ricksha...
We have been travelling budget style in India for many many years . I have never not stayed at a place I have booked , however the Andaman Residency was so bad we left. When we arrived, the man at the counter was very very rude. I asked to speak to the manager via phone who was very polite but said we could not get another room ( we were below ground level) until 7pm t...
The hotel is really close to the airport, infact the runway can be seen from a point in the hallway. It took us 8min(approx.) to go to the airport from the hotel with moving traffic. The hotel by itself on the first glance from the outside looked unapplealing, the lobby was pretty small. The rooms were great, the sheets and towels seemed clean and washed. The room was ...

should have some food loption. the staffs are polite but they should be clear with booking sites exactly what to be paid and not disturb the customer every now and then. rooms are neat and quiet
This place is a little out of the way and not fancy, but an amazing spot. It's tucked away in a small village on the island. It's about a 45-minute car and ferry ride from the port. The hotel arranges pickup (for a fee) and has very friendly and excellent drivers. The rooms are basic, but air conditioned and the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful with bookin...
Well its a good budget hotel with minimal facilities. The rooms are very good and spacious. The hotel is 3/4 floors but there is no lift instead there is a narrow staircase. The hotel does't have a good restaurant though its conveniently located.
Rooms are not big ,hardly 1.5 m length available from your bed. *local drinking water provided. *Food at hotel are reasonable rate and good. *stayed for two nights on different dates still got the same 3rd floor and same rooms.

Havelock Island is expensive compared to mainland India. By Havelock Island standards this hotel offered everything you would expect in this piece bracket and everything was delivered with a smile. We had a fabulous time and would recommend.

This resort is like an island paradise. Our best stay during our Andaman trip was at Seashell Neil. They have awesome cordial staff who are always ready to help. Superb cleaniness and maintenance. Service is top notch. They will truly make you feel special
Excellent Hotel Book Room with Swimming Pool Access from the room. Also book 2 nights atleast you wil miss 1 night if you book for only 1 night. You will love swimming in the pool. Those who love drinking would love drinking at the swimming pool bar while swimming. Room is awesome and luxurios.
