Where to stay in Anhui Province
Anhui Province hotels & accommodations

We stayed in the basic twin room at the North side (south side rooms looked much better). It is connected to the main South building via an indoor bridge, or the outdoor pathway. The room was still nice and cosy. The toilet was quite small, and had a matte translucent glass; may be slightly uncomfortable depending on who you're staying with. Bed was very comfortable. ...

Location - Very strategic location. Need to climb 20 mins (0.5km stairs) to reach the bright summit. Consider the nearest hotel to the bright summit. Hotel - Hotel consists of few blocks. As we booked the expensive economy room, we stayed the same block as the reception and restaurant. The hotel has a spacious outdoor space in front, and a very welcoming lobby. They ...

We hiked all day and arrived at the hotel after surviving a long day of rain and snow. All we wanted was a hot shower. Much to our surprise the hotel was very clean, service was great and the rooms were wonderful. The rooms were clean, tv had western channels, The bathroom and shower were hot and clean. They even had extra warm winter jackets for us to wear. The restau...

The staff in Cheng Jin hotel is super helpful, we arrived at the hotel one day before our actual stay (we spent the first night at one of the hotel at the mountain to watch the sunrise). So we went to Cheng Jin hotel to see if we can store our luggage one night before we stay. And yes, we can do that for free. The staff also recommend us an achievable itinerary in expl...

This is by far the best Crowne Plaza I've been to. That was an expected surprise considering I was in Hefei China. The building is quite new, and it's very pretty at night. The room was excellent. It was modern and decorated with all sorts of nice art work. I'm pretty sure it's the best hotel in Hefei, and the price was very cheap.

Due to miscommunication between Agoda and the hotel, check in was a bit chaotic as we were told that our reservation couldn't be located. There really isn't any substitute of similar quality hotel nearby Hungcun and I overheard another conversation between a hotel guest and staff that rooms were fully booked... so I was slightly paranoid at that point, especially I was...

Really nice hotel. Very close to the train station (maybe 8 RMB taxi), very luxurious feel, and the breakfast buffet is a good selection of well made food. I stayed at 7 hotels on my most recent trip to China, and my travel partner said this was the best hotel of all the 7 we had been to. When I walked into the hotel room it was such an amazing feeling. I was not e...

Paiyun was full house and we were upgraded to Xihai Hotel. XIhai is a much better hotel than Paiyun in terms of location and star. Xihai is very clean and comfortable. However, do note that all hotel rooms in Huangshan are divided by thin wall partition (all building materials are hand-carried to the site). As such, I couldn't sleep well on day 1 as the closing of nex...

This is one of the best hotel in Huangshan, its located near to the cable car if you come from front gate(ci yun temple) of Huangshan. The hotel is clean, bed was comfortable, good shower, the room also comes with buffet breakfast which was great and satisfying. But the hotel is not located at the center point of Huangshan, making it difficult if you like to check in t...

we accidently had to stay the night in Hefei after missing a bus and were a bit stranded, when lo, we saw the neon green of the holiday inn sign amidst the unfamiliar and daunting facade of inner hefei at night and were saved. A good shower, some room service and a sleep and we were fine. A familiar brand with familiar service, maybe not your first choice, but on this...

We spent 2 nights in this hote and have had a comfortable stay. The interior and the furniture in the room are of high standard and tasteful. However we considered the foods in both the cafeteria and the Chinese restaurant are not up to a 5-star standard.

Arriving at this hotel one is met by courteous staff who guide you to check-in and whisk you to your room. The check-in was smooth and efficient. I had booked a King Hilton Deluxe Hot Deal and was shown to a beautiful room on the executive floors where one can access complimentary afternoon tea and soft drinks and complimentary breakfast in the private executive restau...

Amazing hotel, though is located quite far from high-speed train station in a newly developed zone. I don't think I've stayed at a fancier place for the price - so hands down the best value here. Bed was extremely comfortable and staff couldn't be more helpful. I consider the breakfast about a 6 out of 10. Other Hiltons do a much better job. Such a wide variety of cho...

Booked this room for it's deco, when we had visited some chinese bed museum , we were quite worry about the size of the bed, and only realised later that this room stated single room, as we were wondering if it's for single, but it state double bed, owner were very responsive through agoda, replying my question in English. End up, this room is quite spacious, with a w...

I chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced but advertised itself as four star. I knew because it wasn't a western chain there wouldn't be a lot of english spoken, but everything worked out without major problems of delays. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. Breakfast is an extensive buffet and even the most fussy westerners could find lots of choices. Th...

This is a boutique hotel housed in a Anhui style building. It is clean, comfortable and staff very friend. Hotel staff helps with trekking route up Mt Huangshan. Hotel is located about 15 min walk to bus station that brings you to the entrance to Mt Huangshan. The rooms at the back will get you face-to-face with nature with the slope of the hill close-up. Rooms at the ...

This Crowne Plaza hotel is the best international standards hotel you can get so far, if you plan to visit Huangshan and neighbouring attractions. My special view room comes with a view of the river, and is a good place to take sunset photos at the balcony. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I dined at the Chinese restaurant on G/F and the All-Day Dining Cafe on 3/...

Incredible hotel and staff. Rooms were huge and the food provided was all locally grown/raised. Best meal we had during our trip! Staff came to pick us up from the train station and even portered our luggage to the hotel. Will definitely stay here again!

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel where the room was promptly made up and linens changed. Checking in was a breeze and we were directed to the sign board which showed the directions to our rooms. I was surprised that there was no porter to help with our luggage and showed us to the rooms. The hotel staffs would respond to queries but would not go extra mile to rende...

The food at the restaurant is very reasonable and considerably delicious as compared food served at the hotel at top of huangshan mountain which is triple than what we paid here and with much lesser quality. Breakfast is of good spread, dessert is also available too during breakfast. Hotel's room is very beautiful with good view too. The staffs' performance for xuanyua...
Cheap places to stay in Anhui Province

- 15-20 minutes walk from bus station - Near to mart - After been in China for 4 month, this hostel have the best wifi. - Staff friendly and will try their best to help you - Stay in dorm for 3 nights, just me. But i dislike about the kettle, they put in toilet.. so disgusting. Overall 9/10, will stay here again if come to Huangshan.

It was just a short overnight stay for us as we treated it as a base before going up Mount Huangshan the next morning. We had arrived in the evening, check in was smooth and the ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We stayed in the triple room, and it was large enough. Basic amenities were provided, no major issues. Had a quaint patio just outside the ...

Located 10mins from the train station (10-15y taxi) this lovely hostel is welcoming and spacious. Huge ensuite rooms and good food stand out. Bus to the mountain leaves at 0630 and takes 1h. Pay the night before at reception (20y). 30 mins walk from old town, nice for a few hours. Overall, very hospitable.

one of the best hostel i've encountered in china. the staff, especially mr john who speaks fluent english was very helpful and informative. i should have come here and do all my reservations on buses and hotels in mt huangshan instead of planning from my home country whereby i paid more than 70% higher on mt huangshan hotel room rates. i would definitely stay here aga...

A wonderful stay at. The great host fed us well with her wonderful cooking, both for dinner & breakfast (extra cost at reasonable rate). It was nice to dine in the small living room with the hosts during the cold night & to enjoy our hearty breakfast in the nice outdoor, once the sun came out in the morning. is so nicely done up, with warm & cosy decor & beautiful b...

The owner is great, he showed us on a map what would be the best route for us to follow for the hike and it turned out to be perfect! Also he came to pick us up with his car in Tangkou (we took a bus from Huangzhouto Tangkou) The room is spacious, clean and very bright. Beds are very comfortable. Bathroom is asian style and a bit dated but largely ok for two nights. ...

We were very blessed to have someone from Ala Hotel to pick us up from the bus station. The bedroom was kind of spacious, bed was comfortable and water pressure as well as hot water was great too. Front desk officer was very helpful and even explained to us the easier route to Huangshan, the types of food/drinks/other necessity to bring along, the best time to de...

This is the second time I stayed at Jinjiang Inn Ma'anshan. It is located near the train station as well the long distance bus station so quite convenient if one's travelling from Nanjing. Rooms are very clean as usual and the Business C room I booked was larger than that in other cities. The large king bed and its wonderful pillows are the things I look most forwar...

Do bear in mind when considering this hotel that it is only 2 star. Only hand towels were provided. No large bath towels. No soap is provided. No complimentary water are given daily. No cups in the room (and yet there is a kettle...) Bed is too hard (Acceptable for some but not for us so is considered bad point). Very little privacy in the en-suite shower. Rooms are no...

The Green Tree Inn in Shexian is walking distance from the interesting and historic Huizhou Ancient Town, just across the river. About 25 minute taxi to excellent bonzai at Bao's Family Garden and Tangyue Memorial Arches. The hotel is reasonably modern, attached to a small mall with grocery store and restaurant. My room was spacious, but smelled strongly of cigarette s...

if you are looking to stay just outside the np this is not the hotel. huangshan city is not same as huangshan np. we loved our stay at this hotel, big room, nice staff, everything worked, great night market to try out lots of food just to the right of the hotel, on next street.

This place is clean and tidy, but you need a taxi or Didi to get here from the Hefei South Railway Station. It’s close, but not walking distance close, so you’re probably better off just staying in a more central hotel if you’re only staying ‘cos you think you can walk from the station. Staff were friendly and super helpful - I changed my room because the first had no ...

The stay was good since it was very clean and the staff was nice. However, as a warning, they do not speak English which was fine for me but if you are not a seasoned traveler in China you might want to be prepared. Additionally, upon checkout, they kept stating that they did not receive my payment through Agoda (which they should have) and forced me to pay again on ...

We stayed here as a band performing in Hefei and so looked for somewhere cheap to stay. For the same price as some very basic hostels, we were able to stay in what felt like luxury compared to some of our recent accommodation. The internet was amazing, rooms were air conditioned and generally we had a great stay.

1)pada hari pertama check in ada masalah, hotel tidak dapat comfirm my e-booking from agoda. bila saya sampai sana sudah penat dan letih. saya tidak puas hati dengan masalah ini. 2)Mereka tidak menerima kad kredit luar negara!!?? 3)makanan tidak banyak pilihan. 4)layanan kakitangan bagus membantu atau cuba menyelesaikan masalah. 5)internet lambat....

The owners of this little gem of a hotel give a whole new meaning to the word hospitality. From the moment the owner picked me up at a nearby bus stop to when he and his wife sent me off, I felt as if I was in the best of all possible hands for making arrangements to visit the many fine local attractions, including Mount Huangshan. Mr. Zhu Negwu and Mrs. Zeng Junli arr...

My stay was nice, the rooms were clean and had everything you need. Good hotel located close to shuttle buses to go up the mountain. The staff spoke little English but were happy to try their best and assist where possible. Didn't try the breakfast, there is a KFC next door if not to comfortable with Chinese food in the middle of nowhere.

The Old Street Courtyard was a great little hotel right on the old street in Tunxi. we have a mitigated opinion about that hotel. rooms are large, value is excellent, amenities are good, the hotel staff is helpful. the loft layout really provides a feeling of comfort as the bedroom is separated from the living room and there is 2 toilets/bathroom (1 upstairs and one downstairs). also, the hotel is brand new, so everything is extremely clean and ni...

Hotel is directly opposite the bus station where most travelers, besides those driving, will need to board buses from here to the cable car terminal. Being near to the bus station is important especially during peak season. Lots of restaurants nearby, including a KFC outlet. Staff are friendly. Lovely Hotel. We're glad to have chosen this hotel as our 2 nites stay in Yiwu. There are lots of local restaurants serving local delicacies n cuisines at a reasonable price. The Bing Wang nite market is just 500m away from the hotel. Location is further away from the Futian Trade Center but plenty of taxis n mini electric bicycles around can take you there for RMB20-3...

The room is clean and looks fairly new. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is reasonably good. No decent restaurant nearby, so I had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. This place was absolutely fantastic. The location is right at the centre of Old Street. The building is beautiful. A 100 year old classic style Chinese building, but the rooms themselves are well equipped and clean. The staff are helpful. The breakfast was very nice. Nothing to complain about in this place at all. Best choice for the village.

Hotel location was right in the area of Tunxi street. Facilities were amazing, there were so many areas to relax and enjoy. Service provided by the staff was great and they went to the extra mile to ensure everything was comfortable for us. Definitely a hotel to recommend for all ages!

I had a good time at this hotel, but what happened after I checked out made it an EXCEPTIONAL time. After checking out and reaching my next destination hotel I had realized that I left my passport and a large amount of cash in the safe deposit box at the Gansu New Century Hotel. Since I did not have a Chinese mobile phone they could not contact me. When I arrived at my...

Stay at Julong Hotel was a good experience, it situated at a central location. Room is clean and well-kept. The hotel uses sandalwood incense for the corridors which is very pleasant. As we check in quite late, the hotel walk way to the room was very dark with few lighting on, this make the hotel feel very ery and gloomy. Not very comfortable stay. This place was absolutely brilliant. As soon as you go through the gates it's like a paradise with beautiful gardens and characterful rooms. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was truly awful, coffee had more milk than coffee, orange juice was diluted with water and has no taste. The hygiene condition of breakfast area was terrible because it was understaffed. The shower was broken. Air conditioning was too cold.

The hotel has an independent yard with a big lotus water pond in front of it which separates us from the tourists. Very quiet and cozy place. The food is yummy at a very reasonable price. Staff is kind and very helpful. I would definitely take my whole family visiting them again!

We stayed in Cha Hotel for 3nights to see & hike in the Yellow Mountains and surrounding area. Cha Hotel is a small family owned Hotel.
