Pingtung County hotels & accommodations

I really enjoy my stay. The room I booked is with a nice balcony. Swimming Pool is not far away from the room which is good! I enjoy the pool outside with warm water during the night. The Stars were beautiful outside. :-) I can't wait for the next time I come back. :-)

We booked a jacuzzi room and loved it. The hotel is truly a five star with world class service and amenities. The room includes complimentary daily fruits (apple, orange, banana, and kiwi) along with complimentary daily drinks (two bottles of water, small can of sprite, iced oolong tea, vegetable fruit drink and sport drink). The bathroom includes your standard ameniti...

My friends and I stayed at Howard for two nights on a trip to Kenting. We stayed in the deluxe double (mountain view), which was a large room with who king size beds and a balcony. I was 100% satisfied with the room. The bathroom included a separate shower and tub, and the shower areas was enclosed - this is not the case of many bathrooms in Asia, but is certainly my p...

brand new seaside resort near the kenting area. excellent view from my corner deluxe family suite, which contains one huge bathroom with separate shower and bath tub. the suite has 2 connected bedrooms with an ensuite in one of the bedrooms. this caused a bit of an issue. i wish the entire suite has one more full bath as we need to juggle our shower/bath schedule. ...

Great location. Just a bit out of the harbour area so it's nice and quiet. Could hear frogs and crickets at night and see the stars. Rooms are clean, large and spacious. Bathrooms very nice with a seperate shower and toilet stall, two sinks. No pool. Breakfast included. Front desk staff were pleasant and used google translate on their phones to speak with us. Air condi...

We booked the hotel a few days before our trip as we didn't have time to plan anything before the holiday. We are more than pleased that we chose such a nice hotel. It's not the peak season for traveling to Kenting as it's quite cold and hence water sports are not suitable for the seasons. Despite not being able to swim, the hotel provides sighting seeing activities, ...

I would give Four Sisters more than 5 stars if I could. And I can't decide if I want to leave a review for others to know, or keep it as a secret so it wouldn't be over crowded in future. Having stayed at many 5 star hotels before, I could only say most 5 star hotels esp the chain hotels tend to be pretentious, albeit with good expensive hardware. Four Sisters takes th...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights just before the Chinese New Year holidays. The first impression of the hotel was good. It had a big lobby, with nice decoration. Our room was spacious and tidy, with really large beds. I especially liked the picture frame on the wall which showed a beautiful panoramic view of the kending beach. This hotel was quite near the ...

One of the best I have ever stayed. The hardware is classy, unique, environmental friendly, comfortable and cosy. The best part is the service and hospitality of the staff, they are so friendly and helpful and it is done with sincerity and heart. They jovial mood and warm attitude make the stay like a home away from home. Will recommend to anyone who is visiting Kentin...

Title says it all. If you're staying in Fangliao, rather than going all the way to Kenting, this is the place to be. Really nice and new hotel with friendly staff and lovely rooms, though I think I booked a room with a view and that didn't really happen (balcony looked over some other buildings toward the north, rather than to the ocean to the west). But still a really...

Advisable. Great for kids, with a big clean pool WITH full-time watchman. Games in the basement. At my reduced week=price at 35usd per night, we had 2 decent single beds. As a veggie, hotel food is always a problem, but not in this hotel. Staff will help out. Minuses are regrettable and few, for this is a good hotel. --Parking in the basement is not always possible,...

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I had plans to travel to kenting which is not too far. You have to take the express kenting bus from the main Hengchung station. It's about a 5-10 minute walk straight down the main road of the hotel. You can also take this bus to the aquarium and hubitu, a small fishery with cheap sushi a plate of twenty small peices for 100 nt. t...

Room was spacious, clean and overlooked the sea. However, breakfast menu was limited and only served western food. Hotel is located 10mins drive away from kenting main street and getting a taxi may get a little tricky. It was one of our best stays in Taiwan nevertheless!

Hotel is situated in the middle between houbihu and eluanbi. Staffs are friendly and helpful. We managed to get a car to and fro the hotel with the help from the staffs and even managed to book an electric bike via the hotel. Am able to ride to the attractions with the bikes. There is no water kettle but there is a general water dispenser for use. There is tea provided...

Satisfactory: 1. Very nice place and cozy rooms, very clean. Can enjoybhigh quality hot spring 24/7. 2. Good quality foods. 3. Can enjoy nice Taiwanese fruits at all time. How...

The staff is so friendly and helpful. I had to book a room in another city at the last minute. They helped me find a decent hotel right next to the train station where I was going! They picked me up from the bus stop. They took me around Kenting. They also had the morning staff cook my breakfast early so I could catch my bus to the next destination. It was the best sta...

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels across the word and it is very rare to find the place that you can truly say is faultless. Everything about my stay was superb, location, rooms, cleanliness, facilities all excellent. Faultless. Walk out the front for street night market and cheap food, walk out the back for the beach. Onsite parking, coin laundry available. Pleas...

I have been to Kenting four times during the past year. Canan B&B is the best one I have ever stayed in. The location, the price, the service, the room, the parking conveniences, the staff, and the breakfast are all excellent. I like taking landscape photography in Kenting National Park, that was why I visited Kenting frequently during the past year. I surely will ...

We booked a 4 persons seaview room. Unexpectedly they upgraded us to a 2 level family flat. we were so happy. The scenery is excellent facing South bay. Within 5 min walk u can jump into the beach.n South Bay is full of people playing water activities. Not much restaurants around. u better go to the main Kenting street to eat. breakfast is in simple buffet typ...

This hotel would get 5 stars for location if we were driving. It is very close to the Ma An Shan bus station but the buses are not as frequent during off seasons. Therefore I would recommend the hotel to those who have a car. The rooms are clean and staff are friendly.

i have plan a graduation trip to thailand with my friends and we booked this hostel for 2night. the hostel room price is reasonable ,just per night. when compared to other hostel or hotel, b&b's price is lowest. the location of b&b is near to the mtr station and is located in a quiet and peaceful area. when we arrived the hostel, the staff is so nice to guide us t...

Probably the best hotel that I have ever lived ! The hotel is newly built and every facility is like brand new. The location is so convenient and it embraces the sea view of south beach. I sincerely thanks the staff for their hospitality and the breakfast they put their efforts to cook for the guest especially thanks to vivi who has helped arranging a birthday surpr...

Hotel is in a nice secluded setting, very easy exit off the highway but immediately in a quiet and peaceful place. Well of course the car race truck is very close by so during the day can hear the tires screeching and engines roaring, but not in the evening or at night when it is quiet. Great location to go to Dapeng beach and bridge or to Donggang harbor. Staff was v...

It's located just at the start of the night markets, so location was most convenient especially for midnight snacking. Didn't have a problem with the noise level as some had. It's 5 minutes from one of the entrances for the national park. A very convenient location, the staff were very helpful when one of the members of our party required a doctor. Breakfast is provide...

An architectural joy our stay here was a rejuvenating and nourishing experience. Good hotels like this one appeal to all senses and are a rare find. As are the staff who were warm, accomodating, quick to laugh and genuine. They loved their building, as did we, and appreciated how it captured light, sky, symbolism, and it was infectious. A wonderful experience.

I am a Malaysian student who studying at Taiwan. Here was a great place, the boss is very friendly, she even help me to bring my bag to IWOW when she knew I just rent a bicycle. This hotel provide breakfast too, so fantastic!! When you get whole day playing at outside, IWOW provide free mask for us inside the fridge, to prevent the sunburn. A place good to go.
Cheap places to stay in Pingtung County

Hospitality at Time House was awesome.. I was provided with recommendations on where to go and the best route to cover based on the amount of time I had there. Located in HengChun, it was less noisy compared to staying in Kenting and yet still being able to enjoy Kenting which is just minutes away. Electric scooter rental is available at Time House - no hassle needed t...

It was a great place to stay, near the busstation! Sarah and Rene are incredible hosts (sharing food, stories, advices, looking up staff in taiwanese/chinese and help you organise/plan your trip) and made my stay like home. And this home incl. a lovely cat. Got a rich and delicious breakfast which changes every day. Nice comfy beds, big bathroom, a cozzy common area wh...

Not having a word in English on the building, advertising the place, is unacceptable and discriminatory towards all non-Chinese. Don't offer to the international clientele, then! I'd I didn't have the exact address and house number, never would I find it. It's a shame, because rooms are cozy, beds pleasant and clean.

The owner, Gaga was very nice to help me to organise my trip in Kenting and to contact the driver for transportation. The place is very clean and comfortable to stay. Just that have to take note if you're bringing bulky luggage as the female sharing room is at the top floor. But luckily her husband was nice enough to help me to carry the luggage up to the room.

Despite no reviews we risked it. Staff spoke no English. No water dispenser, only water bottles provided. No common area or kitchen. No soap/shampoo in the shower. No towels provided. Cleanliness was ok until we were bitten by bedbugs! Location is good in the city center. Ac worked fine. All in all, it is the cheapest in town so you get what you pay for.

We had booked a VIP family suite, which is quite spacious for four adults. Clean and tidy. We enjoyed the direct sea view although it is partially blocked by the trees as the suite is on the second level. It was very cozy stay in this hotel and enjoyed our south Taiwan holiday.

I could not sleep at night because the wooden house was clattering and the window was shattering. It was just my luck that the day I checked in, thunderstorm came. I believe the place would be nice to stay if it had been a cloudless night. The bed in the room was rather hard and so for someone like me who enjoys soft and fluffy bedding, I made a wrong decision to stay ...

David n Ada are very nice, helpful, friendly, approachable, easygoing owners of this minus. They are running this minsu responsibly. As they are cleaning the rooms by themselves everyday, it makes the minsu very tidy n clean. I was impressed by the interior design of the minutes. It is so homely and comfortable.Ada n David gave us a very informative introduction about ...

Highly recommended place to stay: very central (across Kenting express bus stop, 100m to 7-11 & Family Mart, electric scooter rental on the corner), large room, clean shared bathroom, hot & cold water available, towels provided. But most of all, David (who runs the place) is the best! He speaks English (pretty rare so far during our stay in Taiwan) and helps out with a...

I booked the Quad room at A Fei's Surf Inn during our "tour de taiwan" biking trip, and I'm glad that I chose this place! The staff (Hidi) was extremely helpful before we check in when we asked if we can send our bags ahead of time, and once checked in, she did everything to help us get settled and even allow us to use laundry for our sweaty bike clothes. The dinner w...

We loved staying at Capsule Hostel. The staff received us very warmly and always reminded us that there's free soft drinks, hot and cold water, bottled water, noodle soup, biscuits... They helped us book a scooter, which is right in front of the hostel. The nightmarket is right outside too, though it is not noisy. The capsule we stayed in was very clean, perfectly equi...

We were welcome by very friendly staff, free wifi was accessible within hotel. We were upgraded to the 4 people room, it was very comfortable, but not that extremely clean. Later we changed to a smaller 2 people room, it was smaller with no windows. But loved the bathtub, very comfortable. For the cost, it's definately worth every cent, would highly recommended, you'd ...

Kenting MyHome really best in everything (1) strategic location (situated in kenting main road & night market, walking distance to bus stop) (2) superb facilities (free flow of soft drinks, coffee tea, cup noodle, complimentary laundry, board games available etc) (3) delicious breakfast (fried chicken, waffle, salad, egg & tea/coffee) (4) cozy bedroom (unique design & ...

there is a bus stop very close to this hostel where the bus from Kaoshiung stops. this hostel is exactly in between Kending street and Hungchun street so you can enjoy both night markets! 7 eleven is only 5 mins by walk and bike rental shop is 2 mins by walk. The best thing is the staffs are very kind and warm. interior & design of this hostel is amazing. everything ...

As the hotel is newly opened, and I had booked the place for the 1st time, I didn't know that I would expect the same when I reached the place (just studied the pictures provided via internet). There are a few steps to walk up to the service counter, but once we reached the place, we felt the warmth and care from the young and energetic staff. As I brought my mum along...

this b&b is brand new, beautifuly decorated with lots of tasteful details. the owner uses only the best stuff from furniture to top quality beddings. a very comfortable and quite home away from home. the staff are unbelievably friendly. they will treat you like family and provide any help they can. absolutely great holiday experience.

The room seemed very new and clean. The beds were comfortable, the A/C worked great, good water pressure (and hot water) in the showers. We had a few questions about things in the area, and the staff was very helpful and polite. We felt it was a reasonable value for the money and would stay again. There is free parking provided right in front of the hotel. It's kin...

I highly recommend this hotel if you can ride a scooter and like peace and quiet. The location is only a short scooter ride from the lovely Baisha beach, 10 minutes from Hengchun and 20 minutes from Kenting. The room was gorgeous, with a really big, comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and a nice balcony with a stunning view of the bay. The weather was a little chilly (and ...

Swan Lake resort hotel gave me a very relaxed holiday in southern Taiwan. The staff here is friendly and often smiling to me. I especially liked swing, boating and cycling inside the resort while the weather and the surrounding is so beautiful. I saw swans, mallard and Canada geese swimming around While I was rowing and sitting on the balcony . In the evening, to sit o...

Went there straight after leaving airport to drop luggage off as I would be staying at nmmba(recommended stay with the Beluga whale) on the first day. So yes, you can drop your luggage there one day earlier than the booking date upon request(we told them by fb, seems agoda's chat ain't working). The route to the place wasn't easy, it's up a hill with a narrow one wa...

We had looked forward to some beach time in Kenting but as the typhoon had just hit the week prior, it rained the entire time we were there. Nonetheless we had a great stay, thanks in large part to the excellent service and wonderful rooms of this Guesthouse. The whole design of the place deserves an award (if it hasn't gotten one already): the designer/owner has ma...

Very close to the pier, especially when you go with your suitcase and heavy raining, that's really a nice local. Including breakfast and you can also enjoy the smart TV with netflix in your room. Staff are very helpful and have nice recommendation for your trip. I would love to book again next time.

The room we stayed in was gorgeous, a tad small but perfect for couples and had a lovely ocean view. I loved the design of the entire building. The common area was really well designed and made it feel more at home. The bed was very comfortable and the food was good. The location is okay but it is a bit far from any major shopping areas. However, the hotel did have a f...

Fairly nice hotel. It is what they called "love hotel", meaning normally people stay there by the hours and do you-know-what. They don't allow check in until 6:00PM and we were asked to check out every morning so they can rent it out to horny people for few hours. Thankfully, it wasn't that busy during the days we were there and with little kids and many luggages, they...

this hotel claims to be 4-star on the agoda website, but unfortunately it sub-par in my opinion. it seems the hotel was repainted and some cheap decorations were put up. the room decor was just odd & some rooms numbers were taped on their respective rooms!! personally, our bed was the hardest bed i have ever been on. i even complained to the front desk & they said ...

Upon arriving at the gate, a 姐姐 picked me up in a buggy and took me to my 木蓮 villa, which was the first villa from the entrance. Once I opened the door, there was soft music playing and tea prepared. Essential Travel Tips for Pingtung Adventures
Before embarking on your Pingtung adventure, it’s helpful to familiarize yourself with some local customs and etiquette. The Taiwanese are known for their hospitality, so a friendly smile and a simple xie xie (thank you) can go a long way in making connections with locals. Simple greetings like ni hao (hello) and zai jian (goodbye) are appreciated by locals.
When it comes to dining, it’s customary to wait for the host to invite you to start eating, especially in a formal setting. Tipping is not common in Taiwan, as service charges are typically included in the bill. However, if you receive exceptional service, leaving a small tip is always appreciated. Additionally, be sure to respect local customs, such as removing your shoes when entering someone’s home or certain traditional establishments.
