Ras al-Khaimah hotels & places to stay

We enjoyed our stay, customer service is really good, all of the staff are helpful, Khurram , Claire, Navendra, Padam , Michael, Hamid and Archie! Thumbs up to all of you guys for being so helpful. The only thing i dont like is the shower, its really confusing . we stayed in a 2br suite together with my friend who have seperate booking, all of us spent hours in the shower figuring out how it works haha. . will come back for sure because of these lovely staff.

i would strongly recommend this hotel to visitors of Ras Al Khaimah if not interested in beach access, value for money was really good, room was spacious enough, food was excellent, staff are very helpful and the pool was great for the kids hotel location almost in the center of the city with short distance access for many locations in Ras Al Khaimah if you're using your own car, note that it will be very difficult to park in the night as the hotel is an attraction for the cafe visitors from all around, while parking in the morning is very accessible restaurant is nice with a good view on the swimming pool, and the food variety was nice, food was fresh, fruits and juices as well, breakfast is well recommended and also the cost if very fine i recommend it to my friends and diffidently will visit it again soon with my family Badr Helmy Manager Rak and Sun Tourism

AL Hamra Residence & Village is one of our favorite place for taking short break from our routine life in UAE; and we are never disappointed during any of our visits including the last one during July 2018. We not only got the warm welcome as usual, but also an upgrade to the 3 Bedroom Family Suite with nice Sea View in the Main AL Hamra Residence, though we had originally booked 3 Standard Rooms in AL Hamra Village. This was a gesture to accept our request to allot the 3 rooms together (at AL Hamra Village Villas) with at least one room on the ground floor as we had an elderly guest in our family who had problems climbing stares. Needless to say that the Family Suite had all the necessary amenities in place including a Fridge, Oven, Elec. Cooker besides other things. Once we had checked in and settled in the Family Suite, the real experience of enjoying the high standard of facilities at the resort started; may it be the swimming pool, the beach, the bar or anything else.

Our stay at Mangroove by Bin Majid Hotels & Resort was excellent. At the time of Check in, We were given a free upgrade to Executive room from Standard room! The hotel has comfortable rooms with great service! Moreover, You never get bored when you stay in this hotel as its located in Corniche area and during the evenings it is perfect to relax with a cup of coffee at Costa Coffee just diagonally opposite to the hotel. Overall we had a great stay in the hotel! If you are going to Ras Al Khaimah and want to stay in Corniche area then this is the Hotel to go for!!!

Our villa was comfortable and clean, and in the position we had requested during booking. The view of the ocean through the smal window in the bedroom was wonderful to wake up to, and the breakfast was amazing - so much choice! The staff we came into contact with were all extremely pleasant and helpful, and we were grateful that they extended our checkout time for as long as posssible for no extra charge. We actually live in Ras Al Khaimah and have been members of the beach club for several years, always leaving for home at the end of the day, so it was a real treat to be able to relax and feel like we were on holiday even though we were only 15 minutes from home! Rather expensive, but well worth it!

We spent a summer weekend at the Hatta Fort Hotel. It was a very relaxing experience. Our Rooms were on the wing attached to the main hotel reception, and so we had easy access to one of their 2 pools and the restaurants. I would recommend the chalets on the lower level, as they have a better view. We only had breakfast at the hotel, which was a very good spread. Didn't try any other meals there since they were 5 star restaurant prices, and we just wanted a low budget getaway at a good location. There's a mall and several cafeterias nearby where you can get a quick snack instead. The hotel grounds are vast with a second pool, a little hill to climb up, archery, mini golf and a small area with peacocks wandering around. A short drive away from the hotel are the Hatta springs and a little Heritage village. All in all a very relaxing weekend spent there. Would definitely visit again, and would recommend to others.

We stayed in a cabana (near the pool area) for three days and the kids had a wonderful time. They played in the pool, ran around the garden, enjoyed the tiny goldfish pond, etc. The weather was beautiful, the sun was shining and the water was cool. The location was remote and removed from RAK city, but still five minutes from the Al Hamra Mall and taxis were cheap and plentiful. That was nice because the food was badly overpriced and not worth eating. The coffee was instant nescafe from a pack and priced at 20 aed per cup. The room was spacious but the bathroom was small and you needed to manoeuvre in and out of if. The AC was also weak, and due to poor ventilation, the air always felt damp and smelled of our pool things. Room service took an hour to deliver two coffees and a vegetable sandwich, and speaking to reception about extending our stay for another night was an exercise in frustration- every different person told us a completely different price for one more night, and you got the impression they were making it up as they went along. Having said that, I would come again for the pool and just eat out at the Al Hamra Mall (which is what we ended up doing). If you want a lovely pool & beach, a place to change and sleep, and have expectations of functionality vs luxury, then stay here. This place is more like 2.5 star than 4, but I would still come back. Next time though, with my own kettle and proper coffee!

i had a good time staying in this hotel even for a very short time. i really like the great location where it is situated on elevated and mountainous regions of Ras Al Khaimah & Fujairah. the worst thing is that we lost in our way going to the hotel. on the junction going to Khatt Spring, Fujairah, Sharjah from Ras Al Khaimah, there is no exact sign directing the location of the hotel or even the location of where is the Khatt Spring Area. i hope that there will be a good signage that could guide the other people and travellers who would like to visit and stay the place.

very relaxing. you need a car to get about as the hotel is remote. if you are travelling on the emirates road (e11) take exit e119 go straight and the hotel is about 10km on the right hand side. don't travel into ras al khamia as you may get lost. if you pass the e119 travel to the end of the e11 and take a left at the roundabout (in the opposite direction of rak city) travel about 15km until you see the al hamra mall on your right take the first u-turn after mall and turn right before ceramic tiles go straight and acacia is 4 minutes on your right hand side. excellent valve for money you won't be disappointed!

Had an excellent stay. Staff were brilliant, rooms excellent and more than happy. A 2 min walk from the mall next door (Al naeem mall) Some pros and cons Pros Value for money Excellent staff Excellent location Very clean Cons Shower pressure was very low Ac goes off when you leave the room. I understand the eco benefits, but the flip side is I couldn't sleep comfortably for 2 nights due to this. Summer in the Middle East means ac is your best friend, so an override button is essential. Other than that, a great stay overall. Breakfast usual fare, eggs stations, sausages beans and hash browns along with croissants and cereals etc

The holiday in Hilton Al Hamra was indeed a one to cherish. The facilities were just excellent and the sea view from my room was what I enjoyed the most. The staffs were all so caring and made it clear that we were at comfort. As it was holiday season, we faced heavy traffic at check in, and room allotment was delayed by 1 hour, as the room was not ready which was expected due to the high number of travellers in the hotel. The restaurants were found to be expensive, rather to check out goodies in Spinneys in Al Hamra mall which is just a km away from hotel. The private beach is the fun part. With excellent water sports and security provisions you will enjoy every bit of it. On the whole, its a holiday we shall always cherish Best Regards.. Jimin Jacob

This was my 2nd visit to this "resort", I booked as usual 2 rooms for all the weekend for me & my family. The staff was so professional, the facilities are excellent, and what to say about food! It is really awesome! The swimming pool is so clean with a part dedicated to the babies & young children. The beach is so clean as well, I just found the stairs to reach the beach from the hotel level little bit long but to be honest it is worth it. You will find a clean sandy beach with crystal clear water that you can enjoy swimming from early morning till 7pm. (Even though we sometimes were swimming after 7pm untill it was all dark). Around 8 to 9pm, we were visiting the coffee shop of the resort where we were enjoying nice food and shisha (Hubble Bubble). I highly recommend this hotel to any person willing to enjoy a great vacation on the beach in a friendly clean environment.

Stay was better than what we expected, nice sea view of the room, good service every where. But few things that was little disappointing the inside heated pool was not warm enough to swim. The lunch at AL LIWAN restaurant was a total disaster & food was cold & not tasty & over rated & also expensive! They charged us Aed 150.00 per person same like the outside guest no difference!! The breakfast in the same restaurant was really good in the next day though. Other than that we were very happy & the kids were thrilled. Thanks for the staff & a special thanks to Ken from the reservations he was very sweet & helpful.

normally i book into the hilton on their own website so it was a change for me to use agoda. when we arrived they did not know i was a silver card holder. this caused a flurry of activity and the management and staff were very keen to impress. i was upgraded and given excellent service throughout. breakfasts were lovely. we had dinner over the road at the old hilton as the double tree is no smoking. drinks on the roof by the pool were pleasant. ras al khaimah is a small sleepy port. not much nightlife except in the hotel bars. nightlife and posh shopping are 1 hour away in dubai. hotels v cheap compared to dubai.

tolerable, the staff is very helpful and tries to accommodate any way they can, although there are problems with equipment and the facility they work hard to solve them. The hotel seems to be under construction. Many services advertised are not actually available such as laundry and swimming pool. But is a good deal for the cost in Ras Al Khaimah where many hotels are extremely over priced.

A mixed bag. When we stayed in July only 2 restaurants were open along with the general buffet. However when we tried to book the restaurant we were told it was full (this was at 12 noon). Ok no problem we will use the buffet. A wide choice of mass produced mediocrity I am afraid. So marks down for the food. The option to pop into a café whenever you wanted a coffee was nice and there are endless supplies of ice cream for the kids which is good. The pools are all on top of each other and can be somewhat over crowded. The usual practise of placing towels on sun loungers and disappearing for the day was an issue. The hotel is frequented by many eastern Europeans and one woman could not understand why I was annoyed that she was letting her toddler urinate in the pool (he was standing on the side of the pool at the time). She was leaving the pool, what did she care! Facilities for teenagers was basically video games in a nice space. But my son is younger and was not allowed so he had to go to the other 'play area' which was mainly for toddlers. The staff were nice but the kids were unsupervised and again mostly eastern European. The hotel is located away from Ras Al Khaimah so you will need to get taxis if you want to leave the hotel. Perfect for us as the area was nice and quiet. Room was very comfortable and clean. The mojitos bar was quite nice but understaffed with slow service (to be fair they were great under pressure). Overall a decent hotel with some 5 star facilities

This was the best desert safari that we have done, nothing was rushed. We arrived at 4pm and were able to drive right up to the camp even in a normal car. We had time to enjoy the tranquility. You could do unlimited sand boarding. Chill out on the cushions and enjoy sheesha. The staff were very welcoming. Unlimited soft drinks. The bathroom facilities were very clean. Fixed toilets with full flushing, electric lights and proper sink. Food was excellent with buffet area, grilled area and freshly made Arabic bread. There was a tanoura dance and belly dancer. Both excellent entertainment for kids and adults. As it's a more personal camp rather than commercial it is smaller so you can sit right up to the performers. We stayed in an igloo tent to have an almost full camping experience ( well we had mattresses instead of sleeping bags) We paid for 2 adults but had a 5 year old and requested a family tent. They gave us one which was much more comfortable We were sleeping under the stars. It was a great experience We watched a beautiful sunrise. Buffet breakfast was served at 7.30. Selection of continental and hot stuff. And noodles which was awesome. Sitting in the desert enjoying breakfast in the tranquility on the dunes is something I never imagined before. Check out is 9am. Definite must do if visiting Dubai. But better in cooler months or in summer it will be too hot

Excellent and helpful staff who can't do enough to help and make your stay enjoyable. Very comfortable room with everything needed. Breakfast is served as room service, limited choice but well presented and plenty of it. As long as you remember this is not a hotel as such, they offer well appointed comfortable serviced studio appartments in a residential area which represents value for money. I would recommend for a quiet get away.
