Dirty, bathroom is under standard, no hair dryer, doorlick is opd fashion, buffet has two choices. Most walkways have no lights because they save utility bill. Better to stay some place else or wait until after pandemic.

Disaster”
The owner should go through the check in and out and stay for a full day in his totally run down property. Moldy bed room walls, bathroom walls, rotten carpets, and a rotten smell everywhere you go. Check in without any whatsoever assistance, empty reception, had to call out loud to get the attention that we arrived, Breakfast poor. This hotel should be closed and demolished.

Enjoyed my 2 night stay here with breakfast. Breakfast is standard thai fare, an omelette and a couple of those rubbery thai sausages but you also get fried rice with pork or pad kapao which was quite nice. I didnt leave hungry lets put it that way. Room was big and clean with good internet. TV reception was extremely poor i dont enjoy looking at a snow storm but to be fair it was a minor negative issue. Would i stay again, definately no doubts at all.

the hotel not good value for money the hotel are making some improvements but slow breakfast not good one orange juice egg sausage if no Chinese staying but if they do breakfast very good

Bit of a dinosaur, the Rimpao could be the best in Kalasin, but it feels aged and has had no one with the energy or motivation to move on in 2023. Relic of a previous era and shabby by 4 star standards.

Good value for money ”
The good, breakfast was adequate. Our room was quite large. Good bed. Bathroom was fine.It's very quiet, very big pool but very deep, 4m so watch the kids. The not so good: water stain on carpet.no safe, toilet in common area not clean. Furniture around pool very basic. If you are fussy about everything being spotless you probably need to stay in Bangkok 😅

The carpets were in terrible condition (8th floor). The room (and dining area) had mildewed walls and ceilings. The large pool is the only thing for this hotel…..which was undoubtedly a jewel in its day (50 yrs ago?)?

Have stayed here many times. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Good size, clean rooms. Great restaurant. Large clean swimming pool. Plenty of parking. Best hotel to stay in Kalasin.

De prijs is erg laag en eigenlijk krijg je meer dan genoeg. Vriendelijk personeel. De accommodatie is echter wel vergane glorie. Goed voor een tussenstop van een nacht.

Schoon maar vergane glorie”
Dit hotel was ooit prachtig maar is behoorlijk versleten. De badkamer (en met name de badkuip) is een aanfluiting (geverfde badkuip met bladderende verf) en de gaten vallen in het beddengoed. Het zwembad is uiteraard een enorm voordeel. De reden waarom het toch nog acceptabel is, is omdat het wel schoon is.

Troosteloos”
Was vroeger zeker een zeer statig en mooi hotel. Nu is het oud en moet echt gerenoveerd worden. Kamers zijn ruim, bedden goed, maar de rest is oud (gordijnen, badkamer, wanden, vloerbedekking, etc). Kamers worden wel goed schoongemaakt Hotel staf niet onaardig, maar zonder ‘Thai Smile’. Ontbijt is erg karig. Ruime parkeergelegenheid op eigen terrein. Groot pluspunt van het hotel is het grote buiten zwembad. Het is ook eigenlijk het enige hotel in Kalasin dat een zwembad heeft. Dat is ook de enige reden dat we dit hotel (2e keer) hebben geboekt. Toen wij er waren was het hotel nauwelijks bezet. Als we weer in Kalasin zijn zullen we zeker weer dit hotel boeken, zo slecht is het er ook weer niet. Wel jammer dat het er allemaal zo troosteloos uitziet. Corona zal ook wel impact hebben gehad op de de bedrijfsvoering.
