I was amazed at the lack of management in this hotel. Reception staff are more interested in their phones than in attending visitors needs. I have been many times in Thailand and always appreciated the kindness and support from hotel staff, in particular the receptionists, This is the first time that I have to report a unwelcoming attitude. I was tolod that there is no Manager to refer to and seemed to be a good hotel with no sense of supervision. Even the staff who would take care of luggage were more interested in their cellphones than be available to the customer needs.

A bad hotel!”
We were not very happy with this hotel. Shabby rooms and lots of noise from elevator, kitchen and other things. We booked a room with a big bed and the booking went through but after a while an email came from the hotel that our wishes could not be met. At check out we have to pay 30 thb for a bottle of water from the room! This was our first and last night at this hotel.

Very poor food mainly for low income level Chinese. South Chinese Hong Kong style food of poor quality. Pool facilities very poor. Rooms have no complimentary coffe or tea. I could not recomend this hotel to a travelling dog.

We managed to get a flash deal on agoda. We were pretty lucky. 50% off. It was a very relaxing and plesent stay. Very quiet compared to the rest of Pattaya. I thought quite family/couple orientated. We stayed in a room on floor eight. It was one of the cheaper rooms but it overlooked the pool below, the sea to the right, derelict land and mountains to the left. We really liked that we were allowed to use both swimming pools, as there were two. I especially liked the newer of the two pools that our room overlooked. Raised up on the 2 floor, the pool itself was not deep but designed nicely with a nice view of the sea across the road. The road suprisingly was not that busy. I presume because we were away from most of the hustle and bustle of the main area round there. I thought the buffet breakfast was good. It had a variety of food from all over the world. I thought the fried eggs could have been heated up as they were a little cold. But a small criticism. Overall, very impressed. A short 20 baht songtaew ride to the centre of Jomtien or central Pattaya from outside the hotel. A place which we would probably visit again if we managed to get it for a similar price.

The good and bad”
I will start with the bad. 9th floor rooms are below the roof area and there is a constant noise all night from air con or some other pumps. This is bad but that stops around 5.00 am, you can then hear the water pumps kicking in every time someone throughout the hotel uses a tap or the loo etc. Air con in the room is hideously noisy but it drowns all other noise so I suppose it serves it's purpose. I had enough by 5.15am and went down to reception to get ANO room. Staff were unsurprised and very accommodating so I guess they get this complaint regularly. DO NOT be booked into 9th floor. The next room was OK, good shower, TV, room size and good bed. Bad smell every now and then in bathroom, no tea and coffee, no balcony furniture so it was unusable even though it was nice with a good view, air con OK but not terribly effective. Ground floor pool was poor with hardly any water and a lot of leaves etc but no matter there is a great pool on the second floor. Wifi was fine but had to log in every 3 hours and get new password daily. Brilliant staff all cheery and helpful, they are the hotels' salvation. There are some really nice public areas and the hotel is generally pleasant, well kept and clean. Breakfast I found to be fine but you have to adapt to Thai cuisine and not be stuck in "bacon and egg" mode. The dining room is very nice and absolutely spotless, breakfast staff are very attentive to replenishing and keeping the place clean. The local area is fine if a little off the central area of Jomtien. Plenty of restaurants 7 11's etc. I would have been very unhappy had I paid room rate but with discount, on balance and ignoring the first night, I think it was fair value.

nice room with side seaview. Staff is polite and very helpful. Will be back with the kids. You can take tuk tuk for 10BTH per person to go to pattaya city and jomtien night market.
