1 minute from the bus station”
For me, this accommodation was ideal because it was right by the bus station. The staff were friendly enough, and the dorm room was very clean. Things to note: The screens on the windows in the dorm keep mosquitoes out (big win), but smaller bugs still come in. This meant that I had a lot of little bugs creeping over me at night, which was a bit like camping. I didn’t mind this, but something to bear in mind as it won’t be to everyone’s taste. :) There are also a lot of sounds at night, and the bathroom is separate from the room, so I psyched myself out a bit with this because I was alone in the dorm. The door can be locked from the inside, however, and there are lockers. The walk into the main new town isn’t long—10-15 minutes, and you can take pleasant backroads. I have just two recommendations for the owners: 1) newer bikes would be great...the bikes available for rent are very old, and the one I used was super uncomfortable. The ride to Old Sukhothai is about 15 km each way, and the bike definitely made me feel them. I’d happily have paid a bit more for a better bike. 2) it would be good to close the gap beneath the sliding door of the dorm room. I was woken up at 2 AM my second night by a rustling noise that turned out to be a plump old cockroach busily inspecting my backpack beside my bed. I was able to chase the cockroach out the door, but mosquitoes flew in in the process, which—combined with visions of cockroaches scurrying up my legs—resulted in a very poor night’s sleep indeed. Cockroaches can happen anywhere and this property was super clean otherwise, but it is easy for them to slip under the gap at the bottom of the door.

Great cheap place to stay”
Great cheap place to stay in Sukhothai. It is perfectly situated right next to the bus station. The bathrooms were clean and there was hot water. Even though the rooms look a bit weird like children’s room, it was really good with curtains, and a small table to put your stuffs at night. You can rent a bike from there. I recommend this place.

Good value for money”
Very close to bus station - good when you need connections. Nice, clean and cheap. We rented motorbike and went to old city and also to holy heart. A bit further to city center but 15 min walking is ok. Friendly stuff, just they extensively watched tv in the countyard. Having windows there, it's a bit noicy(also when cars and motorbikes leaving/arriving). Hot water with good preasure, comfy bed.

Great stay with some minor stuff to reconsider”
It's a very basic guest house with a great location. It's literally 1 min walking from the new bus station. Overall, it's good and the room is huge! The staff speaks English and friendly. The guest house does not have any special facilities you may see in a hotel, but it is expected for the price. They also rent out motorbikes for 200 baht per day. For the downside, I found some cockroaches coming from the bathroom. The bathroom also needs more cleaning. It's also a weird thing that they have ceramics with a picture of a half naked woman as a decoration in the room.

Perfect location for people arriving by bus”
Although this hostel is in the same compound as the bus station, there is very little noise. After a long bus ride, only having to walk a few metres to the reception is fantastic. I arrived at 1.30am and the reception were waiting for me, chirpy and friendly. It was an excellent welcome. I stayed in a double room with fan which was more than enough to keep the room cool through the night. There was a long sturdy concrete desk with mirror which was great to do some work. The bathroom was usual Thai style, with hot water and shower. The hostel rents out scooters which are a necessity to get around. Although you'd be hard pressed getting lost as it is one long straight road to the historical parks. It won't take long to get there on a scooter either. There is also a lively heart shaped island not fa rf from the hostel and also a great coffee shop on the way to the island. When I visited the island it was free and I was the only person there. A great place to chill out and look at a shrine. I would like to pay a special mention to the staff of the hostel that were lovely and friendly the whole time I was there. They made me feel very welcome and even were kind enough to help me out with a couple and scooter problems I had. I think whether you are staying in dorms or a private room, you can't go wrong by staying here. Great value for money.

Exceptional”
No problems. Really good for one night, just in front of the bus station. It was perfect for us, cause you can rent there a bicycle and enjoy a nice ride on the countryside roads to the sukhothai historical park.

We were in the dorm room and the beds are super old. I could hear people turning and twisting all night and could feel the springs in my back. Staying here by the bus station is ideal of you have an early bus to catch the next day , but I would stay here for any other reason.

Perfect location for the bus”
I chose the guesthouse as I was arriving by bus in the evening and departing in the morning, so I wanted somewhere near the bus station which Rueang Sti Siri definitely is (beware the taxi drivers, one tried to convince me it was 4k away). There also is a regular bus service to the old city during the day, making the guesthouse a convenient starting point for this, too. It is a bit away from the centre of New Sukhothai and the impressive night market, but you could always hire a bike or scooter, or take one of the taxis hanging about the bus station. The staff provided me with a map on check in and were helpful whenever I asked them anything. The room was spacious with tv (only Thai channels though as far as I could tell) and although the bathroom/ shower could have been more spacious and cleaner, I have seen a lot worse. Would definitely recommend this place, especially for travel convenience.

Nice stay just next to the bus terminal”
My fan room was big, nice and clean, with complimentary water and toilet paper - great for the price! The guesthouse is really just opposite the bus station, and there is a path next to it that will take you to New Sukhothai in 10-15 mins (walking). The staff are extremely polite, I was even a bit embarrassed, feeling I might have walked into a fancy hotel by mistake. The only not quite pleasant thing that happened was a power cut for a couple of hours, but they did their best to fix it quickly. Oh, just in case, the bicycles are not free for everyone, at least they were not included in the price of my room.

Great place for small budget backpackers!”
We had a large and clean room+bathroom with good wifi signal and TV. We didn't expected such quality for this small price ! Staff is really nice and accommodating :) The plus is the location, just in front on the bus station. Then you can rent easily a motorbike (at the guesthouse) to go down town and to Sukhothai. Breakfast can be better.

Value for money ”
The room "looks like" not that nice if you see it for the first time. (probably the bed sheet and curtains they used is fancy, and the colour floor) However, I have a good rest for 2 nights in the mixed dorm. Each bed is attached with a fan, so you could switch on the fan, the fan will take away all the heat. The room is clean and comfortable. Location is the best: opposite the bus station, 1-2min walking distance :)) There's songthaew to Sukhothai Historical Park daily from 6am to 5pm departs from the bus station. The toilet is located outside the room, but it's not an issue. Toilet condition is acceptable, tissue is provided. Staff is friendly and helpful. I got one bottle of drinking water first night. There is alway a staff stand by at the receptionist.
