The hotel staff members were excellent and the best part about the stay. Siya (sp?) spoke excellent English and was especially helpful. The tatami room was lovely and the hotel's location near Kochi Castle excellent. The restaurant and coffeeshop were not particularly memorable, however, and the beautiful picture on Agoda makes the hotel look much more picturesque tha...The hotel staff members were excellent and the best part about the stay. The restaurant and coffeeshop were not particularly memorable, however, and the beautiful picture on Agoda makes the hotel look much more picturesque than it actually is, as the "garden" is really a small closed-in courtyard.

Spent 2 nights there and surprisingly impressed by the top quality of services that the hosts provided to clients. For example, I don’t eat fried fish and the host help provide alternative course for breakfast. Besides, it appears to me that the hosts are very attentive to details, and top quality of facilities, decor and furniture are used. The view of the accommodation is excellent overviewing the Shimanto City and surrounding green belt! Nevertheless, it also means that the uphill location could only fit for those travelers who drive. Highly recommend to those travelers who demand quality services!
