Scenic view, wrong map location, no service at all”
First of all, the map location is way off. If you go to the location shown by the map, you end up at another site that has the name Sumnung Sunrise Villas on the gate, but it is only one of the villas they let out, and even tho it has something akin to a lobby just inside the entrance, it is NOT where you check in. This caused massive confusion for me, and took two separate attempts and much time wasted trying to figure out why no one would check me in... Which brings around an even bigger issue: The actual lobby is usually not staffed at all, and when it is, no one can or will speak English! There is a phone number to call, which also most of the time goes unanswered, and again when someone does, they refuse to speak anything but Thai. I was lucky to meet some nice guests who cleared it up for me and even took me to the actual lobby on a motorcycle, for which I am grateful! After this I had low expectations for the room, but it turned out to be nice, spacious and with a great view!

Yes, don't let the looks deceive you. From the looks of it, the place is beautiful and indeed it is but there are many things travellers you must take note when u book this place. i shall elaborate.... Firstly finding the place is hard as the GPS does not truly reflect the exact location of the place. (its actually on the turn before the jungle restaurant if you are coming fm chwaeng beach).There are barely any signs to help u along the way so u hv to really strain yr eyes to look for the side banners that are badly torn n worn out. 2nd- the place is barely 50% ready as only few villas are ready n construction is still underway. 3rd the breakfast we had we ordered fried n scrambled eggs but as it turns out both are fried eggs. my gf also has hers mixed up n there was a fly in her orange juice. 4th- The place is abt 2km fm the turn fm the main road not like 200m as the staff has told us when we call them, so be warned unless u hv a motor or car else dont bother to book this place. 5th- there are many steps leading to the villa so one must be ready to do some climbing each day if u book any of these villa. The villa is nonetheless beautiful and the pool too is the best consolation fm this ordeal, overall i w rate is as 3 star but not 5
