Very satisfied!”
The review wasn't great, but it was actually really good when I stayed there. I want to go again. The food was delicious too. Highly recommended.
Very good”
The building is old, but the food was delicious and plentiful. The hot springs were enjoyable, including the Utaseyu.
That's great!”
I didn't have high expectations because the reviews weren't very good, but the room was clean and the staff were friendly. The bath was also very comfortable and great. I didn't eat at the restaurant because I had made a reservation at a different place, but other than that, I was quite satisfied with what I got for the price.
My first experience at Ikaho Onsen.”
"I came to Ikaho Onsen for the first time in a long time on a trip. Ikaho Onsen is very beautiful and the stone staircase at night was fantastic. Although the inn is old, it was clean and the hot springs were satisfying. It was a little disappointing that the dinner at night was changed from steak to shabu-shabu. The breakfast was a hearty Japanese meal and I was full. I would like to use it again."
We had a wonderful one-night stay”
My husband, baby, and I stayed at Sanyo for one night in late August. Check-in was easy because we can speak Japanese. I do not know if any of the staff can speak English, but it's very possible they can. The front desk staff took our car key in order to give us our room key. When we went out later for dinner, we handed back the room key to get the car key. Our room was a smoking room, but didn't smell of smoke. We appreciated this. The room was pretty spacious. I think I should have asked for one more futon for the baby. The room could sleep 4 guests so I think this would have been fine. The onsen was very nice. I enjoyed it twice. Once when we arrived and once in the morning. Breakfast was wonderful. Good variety.
