The place is a little old but great deal for the money. The pools are nice, location is good, rooms are big with a balcony, internet setup sort of sucks though.

The price I paid was well reduced because of the corona virus.”
The resort looks good outside but rooms are old and in need the update. Although staff is doing a good job by cleaning the rooms, it is alsmost impossible to get them, especially bathroom totally clean. The shower was a disappointment: very low water pressure and mostly no hot water. There are places of better value for the price in Jomtien/South Pattaya.

Expected usual standards but did not receive them”
Arrived 21:30 after 15 hour road trip to find the resturant & bar shut. Checked in quickly and went out to local place to eat (plenty of choice). One of the few pluses was the fact that the beds were Western Style as opposed to hard Thai variety in many hotels. Pool also good but in six days not once did the pool bar open (nor did the main bar) As I had my young daughter with me I couldnt frequent the local girlybars for a drink so had to get some cans from 7/11 and drink in room. Pool table remained covered for all six days. Needed to walk 400 metres round trip from room to reception every day before breakfast just to get new days wifi code before could go on line. To say breakfast was disgusting would be to over rate it. Had to wait 10 min EVERY morning whilst girl turned the hot plate on to heat the cold fried eggs . Shower pressure so bad that after 5 min water still not deep enough in bath to cover my feet Stayed in various Jomtien hotels over many years but never one this poor

Good location, but worn and broken. Staff unreliable.”
Room was not in good state: one bathroom electrical socket was loose just above sink forming a electric hazard, and one door threshold was cut in two sharp ends pointing upwards where kids easily hurt themselves. After first complaint to reception the threshold was fixed but the electrical socket not. Reception said "we did not see any fault in sockets". I had to take a photo- only after that hotel finaly fixed socket. I had to pay 1000THB deposit when cheking in, but when checkin out I asked about the deposit: -Reception:"You have to show the copy of reciept" -Me: "I do not know if I still have it, but you have the original reciept in that room file where you have all documents of our reservation, I saw you put recipt in it" -Reception: "no original- you have to show the copy" - smiling widelly. So I had to unpack the taxi, go trough my suitcase and recover the reciept copy. Only after that the deposit was returned - not smiling anymore.

Terrible Wi-Fi”
First of all, they will not give your wifi password. Once we completed the checkin and get at the room I see there has no wifi details. So I called them and asked for wifi details and they asked me to go to their reception (It's 2 minutes walking distance from my room). So I had to sign and get unique username and password. They told me, I can only use 2 devices. So basically, Me and my friend only can use in smartphone but not in my mac. The disappointing issue is, Their internet is too slow and I can't get the internet working in the room. I had to go to balcony to get the slow internet. The balcony was too dirty and full of dusts. The only thing was great that was the location and the pool. I am not recommending this hotel if you need wifi for your work.

Too bad which stay this hotel on holiday”
I was expected that this hotel will be nice and comfortable with me. The fact, It is too bad. 1. I booked 1 qreen bed as superior room but i got 2 single bed. I came with my couple. You know that it is bad for our holiday. I aked the receiption. He said that hotel sont have qreen bed. Hotel have only 2 single bed only. WHAT!! Why OTA inform that have 1 qreen bed? We would like to change room but Staff dont find out . He only inform that have only thus type. Too bad!!!! 2. We can stay in the room long time. Due to room is old and bad smell from a dust. Floor is dirty since the door to the balcony. ( Bedsheet and pillow is clean) glasses on the friege have dust inside. 3. Water in the bathroom have dirty smell. 4. In the morning around 9 o'clock , We can't take shower and clean our face from washbasin. Because of water in pipe is brown color. We used drink water which buy 7-11 for washing and clean our body. Hard to description anymore. Staff informed that water pipe was broken.

Many things to be done in the resort to run a proper service and make guests happy”
If you browse through all the reviews, you will find good and less good reviews. If you see the not so happy guests, talking about and describing things to be improved, services to be done better, refurbishment to be started and so on. You will agree with me, that those things in the reviews are repeated again and again over years now. Every time the management thanks for the words and promise to improve. My stay at the resort could describe all those things first hand. I could repeat again all those matters. I won't do, because it is listed in all the reviews above and I don't want to bore you, dear reader, by repeating and repeating. You can now think and decide about the reasons, why they simply don't improve in the resort. One possibility is, that they are running out of money and the resort will be closed down in the next time, so the owner thinks, it is not worth to start the refurbishment. Nevertheless, as it is now the resort isn't really cheap and so not value for your money.

Out dated, not good Maintenance, not clean room, mosquitos in room; not clean”
We booked De-luxe room through AGODA; Arriving late evening being informed during check in that the swimming pool is out of order for the 2 days we booked; After checking in we were guided to the room; There was a bad smell in the room; (lack of fresh air / ventilation) Many mosquitos, unable to stay; Contacting front desk - they were supportive finding an alternative room (standard room) to change; Still a smell in the room, less mosquitos, so we agreed to change; Missing hand towels, which were organized and brought later; However clear was a lack of quality check after they perform their duties / dirty room, an underwear was left in the bathroom from previous customer; That the TV signal (poor cable) connection is a only small side effect; Front desk personal was friendly and helpful; However this seems to be a serious management Problem; Coming and living more than 20 years in Thailand, our worst experience we got;

Hotel rooms are not good. bad smell from room, aircon not enough cool , no coffee/tea in room. Hot water in Shower takes long time to receive and not enough hot.

The rooms are smelly and maitainence is so cheap. Floors are broken and overall it is DIRTY in every corner. Airco was noisy shower was broken and mold was everywhere. Dont go here!!!.

Very miserable staff that are unable to smile... Breakfast cold and inedible... I paid online for three guests with breakfast included. When I arrived I was demanded to pay extra for the third persons breakfast. Rooms are very outdated.

Relaxing time at Splendid Resort”
2 adults 2 young childern, we has a great time at Splendid Resort. The place probalby could do with a new coat of paint, but has a great feel and setout at the end of a small soi (road). The pools were great and a real winner with the kids and myself, was really quiet, bing back form the main Jometein beach main road. Slight negatives were the unclear 'free breakfast' only covered the adults, and the additonal price of 100 baht per child per day a bit high, given the kids only at a little. The wifi was noted to be free, but again this was only 5 hours a day. In this day and age, wifi should be unlimited all day. We had to pay 100 baht on occasion to use longer hours per day. That aside we loved the place and the staff were great for us. If we are back this way, will definately look to stay here again. N

2nd time in this hotel, over new year, got upgraded. Nice rooms, shower has a bit an issue: Takes very long until hot water comes.Should be fixed. Breakfast much better this time, apart from normal Thai organisation problems (missing spoons, food plate empty). Very nice pools, clean, parking good. Outside many beer bars, not boring at countdown! Very good family hotel in center Jomtien, just opposite beach. Problem sometimes with ride to Pattaya: No taxis, most songtaews full. But not Hotel's problem. Warmly recommended!

Stay away”
This hotel is used as hub/base for chinese tour operators shipping people between Pattaya and other regions. . Its quite during daytime, but in the evening from 8pm to 1am its very noisy as 4-5 buses arrive with a new group every night. The tour operators have wake up rounds on the resort, knocking and shouting outside every door from 6.30-8.00am. The breakfast is not continental/american as the majority of the people staying are chinese. Rooms are nice and the location is central on Jomtien beach.. The staff seems to have resignated as the majority only stay one night, limited service is provided. I will not recommend this resort.
