Good amenities but needs to be refreshed”

2 nights stay with children, with an extra bed in the room, the room is fine with good aircon, clean, and quiet at night. The bathroom sanitaries needed a fix and the walls a refreshment, but hot water in fonction ok. The stairs walls and floor are old-fashioned and stained, a redecoration would be necessary for a better image. The breakfast was great (coffee or tea with milk and orange juice and toasts, then a plate with eggs and ham and sausages). The location is fine, in the center of city and 10 min by taxi from the bus station.

first they couldn't find our booking, they didn't speak english and they don't have a map from the city. we first had to find out that new sukhothai is pretty far away from old sukhothai. the room was terrible, very old, also the floor of the stairways were very dirty. we didn't want to try the breakfast there... and it was pretty noisy at night outside. the pool has it's best years behind.. don't forget to bring your own sunchair, as there still aren't any!!!!

We didn't like the hotel and new Sukhothai at all. Not a nice area to stay, the rooms were dirty and the hotel staff didn't speak English. We booked and paid for 3 nights but left already after 2. The only good things were the swimming pool and the breakfast. We recommend others to find a place at the historical part of Sukhothai.

Good for overnight stay”

The location is really nice. It is accessible by foot to the night market and some bars. Also, during the day, its closer to the new town, which has food and all. However, its a little too far from the attractions. Plus, I think its nice to have 7-11 just right in front of the hotel

If you like snooker there is a good little club at the back of this hotel with good quality tables, the breakfast is quite good too, apart from that there isn't a good word I can say about this hotel, pool shut due to "previous flooding", looks like it will never reopen too, same goes for the hotel, looks like it is about to close, I wasn't expecting a lot for the price but this was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, dirty room, badly designed for comfort, no lift, I could go on like forever.

Clean hotel although room looks old”

Room is clean but the walls have yellow marks, looks kinda old but in general it was good. staff were acmodating and speaks english :)

Never again”

I booked 2 rooms with breakfast for myself and my son and his wife. Upon arrival we were given 2 rooms with 2 small beds across the corridor from one another. The owner or the designer of this hotel clearly need to visit and stay at some good hotel to learn. First, the only 2 electrical outlets in the rooms are for a refrigerator and a TV. We had to unplug both the recharge our cell phones and to use our notebook computers (guest room WiFi was fast and free). The bathroom was small and in bad condition with missing tiles and dirty grout. The shower was actually over the toilet! The plastic shower head was not adequate. It spit out water in the form of tiny pins. The noisy aircon was preset to 25 degree and I normally sleep at 27 degree. I had to get up at 2 a.m. to turn off the aircon. The rooms are far from sound prove. The 2 rooms that we got were right in the middle of a high school group tour rooms and they were extremely loud. The worst part is that the reception didn't do anything after I complained about the noise. I had to come out and told a bunch of high school kids to keep it down. In the morning at the Cafe (Cafe is a very small room.. located way in the back of the parking lot) there was only one option for breakfast which is American set. Only one cup of instant coffee comes with the set, no refill. After my first bite into the buttered toast, I noticed that it tasted funny so I look at the butter wrapping. Of course, it's expiration date was over 2 weeks ago. The waitress got upset when I told here about the expiration date. Sorry for the bad review. But we were totally disappointed.

First of all I was quite astonished, and then mad, that someone puts his offer online without any skill to speak English. The service and the receptionists do not speak English. Only basic: yes or no. They have no idea what is going on in their own city and were really surprised that I could rent a bike to get to the Old Park. They didn't even have a map or any folders. The room looked very basic. The breakfast very small with limited amount of coffee (one cup only).

It was nothing like in the pictures!”

It seems like the hotel is about to close; a lot of things are worn down or broke and despite a huge number of staff, nobody seems to care or use time repering/cleaning; the carpet was stained, the wallpaper ruined by water, the tiles and the filter in the swimmingpool broken, the pool extreamly dirty, dust on glasses and furniture in the restaurant/hall, the floor in our room had holes ecc. And even with 4 floors and many rooms, we seemed to be only 2-3 guests - even though the hotel also has a pool, a restaurant/cafe, a snoocker-club and some kind of bar, nobody was using the b, not even people from outside. but, the breakfast was fine, the rooms clean and the staff was helpful in sending clothes to landry, calling a cap ecc. all in all, we were very disappointed having seen the nice pictures on agoda and then see the reality - it has been many years since the hotel looked like in the pictures!

It was a very bad Hotel, swimming pool roundabaunt dirty, no shower funktion outside, inside the showers very dirty. I went from this Hotel after 3 nights!!

Terrible hotel in a terrible little town”

the staff barely seemed able to communicate with each other, let alone understand basic english so checking in took almost forty-five minutes. they have a lovely pool but no beds/chairs for it, so if you want to sunbathe you have to use the floor. the first morning we had a lovely breakfast but the second morning we were just handed some toast by a waitress who looked like she just couldn't be bothered. easily the worst place we've stayed in during our two-month travels.

Nos dieron una habitación si aire acondicionado y de los grifos no salia agua, al reclamar en recepción dieron el agua, que salía negra y desmontaron el termostato del aire y nos dijeron que lo utilizáramos así obviamente exigimos un cambio de habitación. Nos cambiaron de habitación y nos dieron una con aire acondicionado pero con agua sucia igualmente, aparte la habitación estaba muy deteriorada y con muchas humedades. El personal chapurrea ingles y es difícil entenderse con ellos
