Great hotel in the calm area of Chaweng”
It is located in the calm south area of Chaweng. Everything, from the welcoming (bed was decorated with flowers, love and swan) to housekeeping, was great. Staff also very welcoming and talkactive. Perfect for pairs who want to have a calm vacation but still stay near the main attractions. Everything was quickly reachable via motorbike. I'll definitely come back

Small resort. Quite and comfortable. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. We booked a deluxe room which was no surprise. We paid to upgrade the pool access room which was feeling better. Room size is same as deluxe room, a queen bed and a small size bathroom. But the shower was good. The room was cleaned. We were stayed for 4 nights. No complaints.

This hotel was lovely, very clean and the pool was nice.. However, due to covid I think Chaweng is not the location you want to be staying in. Most nights we had to get taxis to Fisherman’s Village as that’s where most of the nightlife/nice restaurants were.

I had very loud guests next door playing music all night so it wasn't the most pleasant. I would say it didn't exceed my expectations for the price and it was for an overnight stopover so it was good enough - I likely wouldn't stay for a vacation spot though.

Location and cleanliness could be better”
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, in one of the rooms with pool access so we were super excited to spend time there. However, when we entered our room, we saw lots of dead bugs smashed on the walls by previous customers and a spider web next to the mirror which was a bummer. The pool also was not very clean, there were black build-ups in between tiles which were getting into my fingernails if I touched them and they were also floating in the pool when let loose. Location wise, the hotel is far away from all the action so if you want to see where all the people are during the night time, you have to walk like 30-40 minutes to the north, area towards the Central Samui shopping mall. If you pove the peace and quite, the location is perfect. Apart from these points everything was nice, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Small but with all you need for a relaxing holiday”
Stayed for 6 nights at Canale. The impression given by the photos is of a larger resort hotel, but in fact there are only 34 rooms arranged in 2 blocks at an angle to each other overlooking a small pool. This is not a negative, as it was nice and quiet. All rooms look over the pool and there are 6 rooms on the ground floor with direct access to the pool. The hotel is tucked away just off the end of the main beach road at Chaweng Beach. 15 minute walk or ride in the back of a taxi pickup to the shops/bars/ restaurants (there are 2 restaurants opposite the entrance if you don't want to go too far). The pool is a relaxing place to stay as it faces mainly south and west so catches most of the sun throughout the day. The whole site is well landscaped and feels like a bit of an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the resort. Breakfast is typical for this standard of hotel with a mixture of fruit, cereal, bread and Thai hot food, as well as freshly prepared eggs (scrambled fried or boiled). The hotel is modern and fresh and the rooms are of a good size although there is very little storage space other than a large wardrobe. The beds were clean and comfortable. We asked for a change of room after getting one with a massive bed and spa bath. We prefer a shower and the walk in shower in the second room was large and powerful. Some of our party complained about a nasty smell in the bathroom but this wasn't bad enough to spoil things. All staff were friendly and helpful and did everything to make this a relaxing stay. All in all if you want to stay on the east coast of Koh Samui but want somewhere a bit quieter but still near to facilities this hotel would be a good choice.

It was a cute resort but the air conditioner in the room was very very heavy. Even with 25 degreees I was freezing. The toilet also had a very very bad smell :(

Really nice rooms and poolarea! The staff were really helpful. The only negative thing is the location, the hotel is located a bit from the center. You can rent a motorbike from the hotel though, so this wasn’t a problem for me.
