Great location on Chewang Beach, excellent swimming and sand. Great friendly staff. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. Very clean. Great family environment. I would recommend to anyone travelling alone or with the whole family.

Quiet and relaxing”
My husband and I were transferred to Fair House in Maenam due to renovations at the Chaweng property. The garden room was surrounded by tropical palms and close to the pool and beach. Room was very spacious with a huge comfortable bed plus large bathroom with great soaking tub. The restaurant offers bar snacks and delicious meals although options are a little limited if staying for an extended period. The holiday was made most memorable thanks to the staff. Da, Boss and Sa (there were many others but too many to name them all) are a credit to the property and we honestly feel we have made new friends that will be missed until our next journey. HIGHLY recommend this property if you are looking for a chilled out base in Koh Samui

Fantastic location, quiet but close to the centre with loads of restaurants and bars. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. Specious rooms. Beach is cleaned daily and probably is one of the best on Koh Samui. The only downfall was that the room has not been properly cleaned each time and sometimes it's been cleaned very late afternoon. I would still come back.

Restful, beautiful location and grounds”
We prefer to be out of the nightlife area and in natural settings. Fair House provided just that--a quiet place with older clientele where you can relax, listen to the waves, walk through the gardens and smell the wonderful scent of plumeria flowers in the air. The facilities are a little older, but well cared for. We highly recommend one of the bungalows near the beach. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous at the Sea Paint restaurant right by the sea. The supper fare was a little less "wow," but the French fries are the best we've ever had. The tour coordinator was very helpful and informative. We would definitely return here when visiting Koh Samui again.

Excellent”
We were were grandparents staying with our family with children ranging from 2 to 24. We had three rooms next to each other close to the beach, pool and restaurant which suited our needs well. The rooms were spacious, quiet and well equipped. The site is on quite a steep hill with reception at the top but golf cart transport was always available with a phone call. The staff were always pleasant & helpful. The food was was quite good but not brilliant. Had to go off site for more verity, better quality & price. The wine was particularly expensive. The beach was lovely but a little spoilt by the presence of litter, not helped by an absence of litter bins. We were there for Christmas & the New Year & the hotel put in a huge effort for those celebrations. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

NICE PLACE, BUT COULD BE BETTER AS USED TO BE”
I stayed in this place in past 20 years few times, the hotel is in beautifull location near Chaweng beach, hotel beach is large and nice, horrible thing is smoking permited on the beach, expecially russian turist love to smoke on the beach and of course leaving the cigaretes in the sand - horrible matters.... hotel should post NO SMOKING signs as other hotels do, if no should clean the beach daily, next door is the mariott hotel.... look how they beach is perfectlly clean. Only one non understable think is fruit selection on breakfast banana, melon, pine and lime... very poor for tropical island where the fruis cost almost nothing. very sad for such a nice place

Nice Suites, Nice Beach, not so great restaurant”
Room was really nice, bath tub, soft beds, but a bit far from the beach. Some staff were exceedingly helpful and accomodating, but front desk staff were not very good - we waited three hours for check in, and still bags were not delivered - we were told to wait in the restaurant until our room was ready but had to go back to front office (which is actually a 6-8 minute walk up the hill) to finally get our key and bags. However, the weakest part of the hotel is the restaurant - the breakfast included is good, but do not eat lunch or supper there - small portions, poor quality and high price. Down the beach is the Blue Monkey - much better.

Unfortunately, our stay at check-in was spoiled by a very unfriendly member of staff. copy of a small child´ s passport required otherwise no check-in possible! We can go somewhere else, we were told at reception. My child does not have a passport and does not need one ! Only here, what for? That could have been solved professionally and friendly. The accommodation was otherwise okay, the breakfast was very rich. However, because of the check-in experience, we will not return to this hotel

Always an excuse to get something”
My room was ok. I asked for an extra key and i was told they only had one on file and that it was impossible to get a second key. My window was broken and basically defeated the purpose of having a key since you can enter through the window. Housekeeping wasn't the best as i some friends over one night and in the morning after housekeeping came they didn't really do a great job at cleaning. When i do return to Koh Samui i won't be staying here

The hotel does not live up to expectations at all and does not keep what it promises when booking. The room gives the feeling of a better hostel. Lots of stairs everywhere without a lift and hilly hotel area. Very wavy beach. But serves a very good breakfast at a nice beach bar.

Amazing! 5 star experience”
Usually stay in beach bungalows in Thailand but the weather turned into a monsoon so we decided to check into a hotel with WIFI and a pool and gym for 4 days to have some creature comforts! That's exactly what we got. Before we even arrived here Fair House reservations team rescued us from our previous hotel in a monsoon with one of their taxis through 1m high water. We were hugely grateful! From the moment we arrived we were treated so well by the friendly reception staff and a buggy organised to take us to our beautiful spacious room (8502) near all the facilities. The room was very clean and had a huge bathroom. A fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar, TV and safe. It was serviced daily and even a lovely oil burner set up to make it smell fresh! Free beach towels and umbrellas provided. The restaurant manager is wonderful. So helpful, thoughtfully reserving a table close to the food stations for us as my partner uses crutches and can't walk far. The food is lovely. Make sure you get breakfast included and have the omelettes! Delicious. The gardens are lush and very well kept with hidden tables and a pagoda to sit in and read etc. The beach is gorgeous and kept clean and the bar is really nice to relax in. There is also a pool table. The gardeners work very hard to keep everything perfect. The WIFI is fast and works perfectly at all times in all areas and the room. There were a few power cuts due to the weather but power was restored within 5 minutes each time and torches provided in each room anyway so not a problem. They've thought of everything in advance! This hotel is well managed with friendly attentive staff and lots of smiles all round :) There's a 7/11 and pharmacy 1 min walk for supplies if you need. And a reasonably priced taxi service on site. There is also a shuttle bus to Chaweng throughout the day. I can't fault this place so I can't understand the bad reviews on here! Highly recommend! Thank you to everyone at Fair House for

A nice place to unwind”
We are just back from our 4th stay at the Fair House Beach Resort. The fact that we keep going back says something. The beautiful clean beach here is the big draw. The Fair House is quite inexpensive compared to some of the other nearby properties. Staff is helpful and pleasant and the restaurant serves good food, especially at dinner. There are a number of good local food options nearby as well as 7-Eleven and Family Mart. Most of the other guests were German and Russian. Breakfasts are decent, not spectacular, but there is a good variety of options. I don’t care for their coffee – so if good coffee is important to you, bring your own. You may also want to bring mosquito repellant. The rooms are getting worn a bit, but are pretty acceptable for the price. We love being able to get a spot right on the beach. We don’t go there to sit in a room. We did encounter a bit of an issue on this trip, which has now been resolved – but it is something that anyone booking here with Agoda should be aware of. I had booked a Grand Deluxe Bungalow (which is beachfront.) When we were checking in, the clerk showed us on a map where our room was located – and it wasn’t beach front. I explained that there was a mistake, and we started to compare notes. It turns out that my confirmation from Agoda was indeed for a “Grand Deluxe Bungalow” but through booking.com, Agoda had told the hotel I had booked a “Deluxe Bungalow.” I was shown the email from booking.com to the hotel. We got a manager involved. Mim called Agoda on our behalf and it was worked out that we would get the Grand Deluxe Bungalow, but that I would have to pay for the upgrade from the Deluxe – and then send the receipts in to Agoda and they would reimburse me for the extra cost. Getting the receipts to them turned out to be a hassle, but I am now able to report that the refund has gone through. In my opinion, the hotel handled this well and made sure we were satisfied. Best Place in Koh Samui”
Best place to relax and have fun in Koh Samui. Hotel is located right on the best beach of Koh Samui. Vegetarian food is an issue but gets compensated by nearby restaurants available. Key attractions of this island are located in a vicinity and can be explored by hiring a bike available at a reasonable cost in the hotel itself. To enjoy the best part of thailand you need to stay here for 3 Nights.
