Good View and Great Service”
The Oriental Hotel in Legazpi is one of the better or probably the best hotel in the city. It has spacious, clean and 5 star looking rooms. The hotel has amenities like a spa which is open until midnight, a pool, and a gym. There is an option for buffet breakfast to sample local fare. Transportation to and fro the airport is included free, and you can arrange for land transfer in the city conveniently. They have excellent coffee, desserts as well as high-end version of local foods.

we stayed at the legazpi oriental after a morning of swimming with the whalesharks in donsol. the hotel was a very welcome treat after a tiring morning - with very comfortable beds, very good aircon, strong shower and lovely toiletries! the plush bathrobes were also very useful to keep warm after a swim in their infinity pool. very helpful staff who ensured that we were quickly replenished with coffee during breakfast, took our family photos and even provided free transfer to the terminal for our camsur trip.

Great View of Mayon”
I guess that's the #1 asset of the hotel, the great view of Mayon. It is also has a good view of the Legazpi City downtown & the Albay Gulf. Food is quite expensive for a 5-star hotel in the province. Outdoor resto beside the pool served great food but check out the price first before you order (the price is per 100gms if I remember right). Their free buffet breakfast though is superb! lots of choices. Communication was a disappointment though. About a 3 weeks before our stay, they did email that they were undergoing renovations & I specifically said it's ok as long as the pool was open. Problem was, the pool was being treated that day! The jacuzzi was open but obviously needed to be cleaned too. All they could say was, sorry! I tried to send an email to their email addresses, left a message on their FB Messenger but didnt get any reply. The Hotel Staff had an entertaining performance in the evening (fire dance was cool & they would let you take photos with them).

Awesome Hotel with awesome staff!”
We have now stayed in the Oriental Legaspi 3 times, and will continue to return there anytime we are in town. It's relaxing, luxurious (for the price) and has the best staff I have encountered in any hotel at any price anywhere in the world. There are lovely pools, great views over the city and a fantastic view of Mount Mayon which is the big arse volcano located here. A bit out of town, but for P100 you can be in the city center in about 15 minuets using a tricycle or P300 if you use the hotel shuttle. And being out of town has the advantage of peace and tranquility. I recommend you stay here if you are in Legazpi.

The hotel is undergoing renovation so front lobby furniture and carpet need attention. I was put in a new renovated room facing the country side but beautiful view. The room renovation was excellent. Had small refrigerator but no microwave that I can remember. My Fiance has decided to have our wedding there and she is excited about the choice. The staff is excellent and the facility was clean as I did not expect after reading a previous negative review = so only booked there at the request of my Fiance and glad I did stay there. Breakfast buffet was the best that I have ever had in any 5 star hotel as I am a long time world traveler. Looking forward to my wedding at the ORIENTAL. I highly recommend the ORIENTAL REGARDS CARL

Magnificent hotel and excellent service”
This hotel is the BEST in the city of Legazpi. Location is unbeatable, situated on a hill. The view of the Mayon volcano is superb. The personnel who welcomed us were so friendly that when I told them upon check-in that I was not feeling well, she immediately took their medicine box to offer me some first aid medicines & offered to call for a doctor. The entire service is just terrific. Overall, we were all (12 pax) very satisfied, both for the hotel rooms, facilities, restaurant & service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the BEST place to stay in Legazpi.

Great looking hotel”
We arrived around 9am and were surprised that most of the rooms we reserved ( 4 in total ) were already clean and ready for use. This was such a great customer service! The hotel has big rooms and super nice and clean bathrooms. The view of Mt. Mayon from many parts of the hotel is purely outstanding! The breakfast buffet was quite satisfying. We rented a van during our stay so going out to visit the tourist attractions was never a problem to us. The price we paid for our stay was really reasonable and worth it! We could stay again in this hotel in our next trip to Legazpi. Oh! By the way, their pillows are like 5-star pillows! Super nice to sleep!

Magnificent hotel and excellent service”
We were a group of 12 pax and everyone enjoyed their stay in this beautiful hotel. It's huge & new, located on a hilly side of the city. From your room you can have the overview of the whole Legazpi City. Not to forget, the service of the hotel is perfect, friendly staffs & excellent food. There was nothing to complain during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a BEST place to stay in the city of Legazpi. Hotel offers a free shuttle transport to the airport which is about 10-15 minutes away.

Best pool view overlooking at Mt. Mayon”
The best thing I like in The Oriental Legazpi hotel is the perfect view of swimming pool facility, it is overlooking of Mt. Mayon! And their restau / food lounges have also great view! Their room is nice and clean, and has balcony with Mayon view too! Their staff are really nice and friendly! Only thing is the location, because it is located at top of the mountain, it is not really accessible to ride jeepney or tricycle. You need to ask their staff to call a cab or tricycle for you and it costs 100 pesos just to be in the city.

This is best hotel in legazpi no doubt the staff are great the food is cheap but its presentation ,service and staff are 5 star .The rooms was big and comfortable with large shower and room service was really good but so cheap for 5star where at a 2 star in manila now and its double the price and not as good !Our only problem was the pool isn't clean i understand being in direct sun algie grows but it was quite bad to be honest although not noticeable from surface.This hotel should be investigated over their ridiculous wages for their workers its well below award and we were disgusted for their friendliness and service appalling typical chinese owners shame on them

Enjoyed our stay at the Oriental Hotel nice large rooms , staff were all very nice, water stopped in our bathroom and they had it fixed within 20 minutes of letting them know, lovely area for breakfast . Hotel is a little away from town and you would need a short taxi ride . if in Legazpi again i would stay at the Oriental hotel .

i enjoyed my stay and definitely will come back in legazpi and stay in the same hotel. few points though, i think the food selection and taste of it should be improved to justify the price. there's no hotel slippers which is a must i think. the room is good and the bed is relaxing especially after a long and tiring day of roaming around the city. good points: hotel service is good and the staff. cleanliness of hotel, so so good view in the pool for the mayon. wifi service

First thing that I would really want to share was when we entered to the hotel, they served us a complimentary "welcome" drinks at the counter. We feel like VIPs at The Oriental Hotel. The Staff performances and their services is way better than other 5-star hotels! They are so efficient when I need something in my room. About the ambiance and interior decor, I love it. Simple and yet classy! All I can say, this hotel is highly recommendable! The only draw back is when we had our morning breakfast. They only have few choices of food. But overall my 2-night stay @ the Oriental was amazing and worth every penny!

Everyone is extremely helpful and polite and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely go back if given a chance to go back in Albay. Had a great view of Mayon even if it was cloudy when we were in the pool area. Buffet breakfast options are quite limited but it is not a hindrance for us to enjoy the meal and be full. We were able to avail of the free airport shuttle after checking out and it was a good 15 minute ride to the airport from the Hotel. If you are commuting, hotel can be visited via a tricycle from the Albay church.

We had so much fun with our trip to Bicol. First, when we arrived at the airport we were welcomed by the driver from Oriental Legaspi with a very welcoming smile. As we are reaching our hotel so impressed with the view of Mayon Volcano and the mountains surrounding the huge volcano. Oriental Legaspi has the perfect location for Mayon. When we checked-in the people in the reception were so accommodating and knowledgeable of what they are doing. It didn't take us long to register. The rooms and bathrooms were so big and beds our very comfortable to sleep on. Wi-fi is so fast and no interruptions. The breakfast buffet has a lot of selections and fast service if you need something. I have recommended the hotel my family and friends prior to writing my comment on this survey!

Great service and good views”
arrived in legaspi airport and was taken by van to the oriental hotel, driver was very nice and when i got to hotel they gave me lemonade and cold face cloth. they upgraded my room to a mountain view on 2nd floor. the hotel was helpful with planning activities like going to donsol or climbing the mountain. the main con to the hotel was the free breakfast, it just did not taste very good but if all you need is some coffee, toast and eggs you should be fine. the spa at the hotel is good too, i got the full body scrub and massage and was well pleased with the service. overall probably the best hotel in legaspi
