Acceptable place to stay”
Not many choices near Mahidol University Salaya Campus. This hotel located near the bus station and taxi stops. Few local restaurants for breakfast and dinner nearby. The inside decorations are old.

Very High Value”
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. About us - typically we seek a low cost, clean, and safe hotel to sleep, and shower. This hotel met our needs completely. The price was very low but there was great value for the money. The hotel was quiet. We were surprised by the quality of the food available at the hotel's cafe and restaurant. The owner's son graduated with honors from culinary school in New York City. Upon arrival, the air was filled with the aroma of freshly baked chocolate cake which he made into Black Forest Cake which I enjoyed twice. We ate two dinners at the restaurant and were very pleased with the food. Breakfast is not avaialble until later in the morning but it is not a problem. A very short walk around the corner brought us to many food booths, food stalls, restaurants as well as 7-11. Our bed was a platform bed that you could only access from the foot of the bed - for us it added to the charm, for others it could be an issue. The TV had one English channel - Fox HD movies, and about 4 Thai stations - it did not matter to us because we return to the hotel exhausted from our day long sightseeing excursions.

Helpful manager. attentive.”
We mistakenly took train to NakomPathom station. But the hotel is near frm Salaya station. NakomPathon Province. We took back the return train to get Salaya. Very nice area. good local food vendors on the street. Nice hotel. Manager speaks English very well. He is so helpful and quickly replaced lights upon request.. very nice.

Great.”
We were happy with our stay at the Palm Resort, because of location from Mahidol University where we were visiting for a conference (great walk with all the stalls) and the food at The Palm was simply excellent. Staff were really helpful as well. Few things we couldn't address as we were so busy : 1) shower (a little too high for our height and it was little broken so water wasn't hitting properly unless we held it) 2) Tall lamp in the room didn't work 3) We would've really appreciated hot water to drink and make tea in the room 4) Aircon or heater was bit noisy (but we had earplugs so it was ok) 5) We really truly wished you had breakfast from 8am as we left early to conference daily. Otherwise it was good. We would stay there again. Thank you for the hospitality.

Friendly hotel with a great restaurant ”
The stay is excellent although the owner seemed to be very new for the hotel business. My check-in is a little bit struggle but friendly. You must try the food here, delicious! This place is around 10 minutes walk to the train station and about few minutes walk to the bus stop.

Great value”
This hotel was a stop on the way to Phitsanalok and a visit to Wat Sichanalai. It turned out to be very far from anything that was open at night, was quite expensive to get to and also very far from town to get in to see the temple and then on to Sukhothai. That being said I probably should have paid more attention t to map when booking. However the rooms at this hotel are excellent and unbelievable for the budget or midrange traveller . Wifi was good (not like many other places) and the staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended hotel if wanting to stay in a very quiet spot.

Super staff - good value for your money”
The staff were showing the famous and BEST quality of the Thai people: VERY friendly and helpful. I arrived late but they still prepared and served a very delicious Thai dinner/meal. Only beware that you cannot get breakfast in this hotel (so had to go my 1st meeting on empty stomach). Good value for your money.

Outdated Room/Malfunctioning A/C”
Very close to Mahidol University and the main road, so location was good. However, the room was outdated and could have been cleaner. Water stains and basic maintenance that can easily be dealt with by staff. Major annoyance was the A/C malfunctioning; it both continuously dripped water and it barely cooled the room. Reasonable price point for what you are offered.

Could do better”
Pros - Great food at restaurant. Cons - A/C noisy, bathroom dirty, noisy house opposite the hotel. They play loud music starting at 6am and continue all day until 9pm. Staff refused to do anything about it. My room was at the end of the building and my bed was rattling from the bass. There are better places to stay as there are some very nice condos and apartments in that area. Bundit and MU house were fantastic. These are high end condos with pools, gyms, etc and only 500 to 600 baht a night.

two stars, that's it!”
Cheked in but didn't bother to stay. just went to another hotel. Room too small, layout too strange, shower too shabby, front yard too deserted. Do yourslef a favor and find a much better place, for around additional B500. It looks cheap, at the rate of B1000, but it doesn't include breakfast, and this is the area you can't find a place for breakfast on the street.
