Romantic hotel at riverside.”

The Seven Seas Riverside Ayutthaya could be the perfect place for a honeymoon, if you not are looking for a 6 star luxurious hotel. It is situated on the riverbank close to Ayutthaya centre. But because of its location at the end of a small soi, it is a very quiet place. No traffic noise at all. But only 5 minutes walk to 7Eleven and other shops, and restaurants. The view from the room and the balcony outside the room is superb. (Our room type was Deluxe Jacuzzi Riverview with Balcony). The room was nice and clean, and the big bathroom very romantic with Jacuzzi and candlelight. Everything was functioning. The owner of the small hotel was very friendly and helpsome with everything. E.g. when we wanted to go and have dinner and shopping downtown, he recommended a very good restaurant, and called for a tuk tuk to bring us there low price. When sitting in the hotels nice restaurant build out above the river he always helped us starting the fan and bringing water and coffee and etc. And always with a big smile. The only minus about our stay was that the kitchen of the hotel was closed. But the owner told he would order food from another restaurant if we wanted that. And there was free coffee or tea and boiled water all 24 hour. Another thing was that the hotel was very difficult to find. We had to ask more people before we found it at the end of a narrow soi. Only a very little sign was telling us where to go from the main street. And don't trust the map on the website showing the location of the hotel. Then you will end 15 - 20km away from the hotel!!! Tell the taxi driver instead to look for a location at U-Thong Rd opposite the Wat Phutthaisawan temple.

Was OK for last minute choice”

This was a last minute reservation, with limited choices available. The Seven Seas is ok but quite basic for our tastes, It may suit others just fine. English was not available except via the phone to someone off site. Good for one night but don't expect a whole lot. Jacuzzi didn't work, but that seems to happen to us everywhere. I do emphasize the cleanliness and neatness of the hotel and location on the river as positives. The non-English speaking staff was very attentive to our needs.

Probably the best place in Ayutthaya”

perfect place to relax and unwind after bangkok. the hotel is very cosy and situated right at the bank of the river. its very quiet there, you can watch the river and the boats passing by and the ancient temples from your room window or the hotel restaurant. the room is perfectly clean and nice (which was a nice change after kao san hotels), and the bed is very comfortable. the wi-fi is fast enough. the exterior of the hotel is very nice too, its great just to sit on those nice chairs under the shade. there are also tea-coffee making facilities near the room. the owner is attentive to the needs (though doesnt speak any english). there is a lovely park 5 minutes away from the hotel. the hotel doesnt operate the restuarant currently but thats not a problem as you can find some restaurants 5-10 minutes away.

I would go back again! First, it is very hard to find with no sign and down a really narrow alley. Second, no on spoke English. If you can get passed those problems, it is one of my favorite hotels. On arrival we were told because of the holiday the staff was away and the restaurant was closed. I was disappointed because I picked the hotel when I saw the beautiful sitting area for the restaurant. They made up for it by ordering food to be delivered to us. It was a wonderful night. Also, very comfortable bed with nice sheets and cotton towels that actually dry you off, not just move the wet around. There was no cable TV and the regular rooms share a bathroom, which I didn't notice when I booked. The hot tub worked in the jacuzzi room.

Nice, very clean hotel”

It's very hard to find, down a small alley with no signs, and no one spoke English. If you are with a Thai, not much of a problem. When we arrived we were told that because of the holiday there was no food offered on site. This was disappointing because I picked the hotel for it's seating next to the river. That night the manager called and had food delivered for us! Wonderful service. The bedding and towels were also high quality. Very nice to dry off with cotton towel and not a plastic one that only moves the water around.

Quiet and relaxing.”

This home-stay only has 4 rooms. 3 rooms share 2 bathrooms on the ground floor. Only the room with the in-room Jacuzzi has its own bathroom. The owner only speaks Thai, but he is a genuinely nice host. He prefers a quiet place, so he doesn't operate the restaurant at all. If you want to eat at the hotel, order take out food from one of the roadside restaurants or stock the common fridge with snacks.

A room with the river view and herritage temple”

It was good to stay there and finish my paper. The hotel does not provide food but you can buy food from outside. Those who do not want to go out , may feel uncomfortable.

Nice place ”

After a 22 hour flight this was a relaxing place to catch up and get rid of the jet lag. Sitting by the river and watching the barges and boats go by was nice. A short walk up the back alley was a little resturant for a quick bite and then back to bed because of jet lag so was a very quiet place to catch up on some much needed sleep

The room was adequate but nothing special,the furniture and fittings rather dated .We looked forward to using the jacuzzi but each time we tried to fill it using hot water the main switch kept tripping out. After taking 30mins to fill the jacuzzi i turned on the water jets but the noise from the pump was deafening,a big let down i am afraid to say. There is a beautiful restaurant area next to the river but alas no restaurant.On reflection the stay was a disappointment,although with improvements this place could be exceptional. It is also expensive considering it is a home-stay and no breakfast is included.

Très beau guest house, le propriétaire ne parle pas l' anglais mais appelle son fils pour nous venir en aide, la salle de bain est au bout du couloir ce qui me faisait peur avant d'arriver mais c'est très propre, fonctionnel, l' accueil est irréprochable. Location de 2 vélos à la journée pour visiter la ville. La vue sur la rivière et le temple est très romantique surtout au couché du soleil. Restaurant dans les rues derrière.

Le patron est tres sympatique, endroit calme et simple, belle vue sur la riviere et sur le temple de l'autre cote de la riviere! chambre propre. Place de parking (2 places) comme un gite rural. agreable et chambre propre. Pas de salle de bain dans les chambres deux salle de bains et toillettes au fond du couloir.

Der Aufenthalt war nett allerdings gab es kein Warmwasser was für eine Nacht aushaltbar ist jedoch bei längerem Aufenthalt ein no go ist.

เหมือนจะหายากในตอนแรก แต่ก็หาจนเจอ อยู่เส้นเดียวกับร้านขายสายไหมอาบีดีน เลยไปประมาณ 1 กม. ก่อนถึงจะเจอคล้ายสะพานเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เตรียมชิดซ้ายได้เลย จะเจอป้ายร้านก๋วยเตี๋ยวใหญ่ๆ เตรียมเลี้ยวเข้า ซอยหน้าเล็กๆ อาจดูยากไปนิด พอไปถึงก็รู้สึกได้ถึงบรรยากาศที่แตกต่าง ห้องพักที่จองเป็นห้องที่มีห้องน้ำในตัว อยู่ชั้นสอง กว้างขวาง สะอาด เป็นโซนของตัวเองชอบมากๆ มีเก้าอี้หน้าห้อง สามารถซื้อของมากินเล่นเอาบรรยากาศได้ ยิ่งวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม จะได้ยินเสียงสวดมนต์จากวัดฝั่งตรงข้าม และพลุสวยๆที่จุดตรงกลางแม่น้ำ ได้บรรยากาศสวยงาม สงบ แบบที่ไม่ต้องไปแย่งกับใคร

ทางเข้าหายากเนื่องจากป้ายหน้าปากซอยไม่มี แต่จะอยู่ในซอยหน้าร้านก๋วยเตี๋ยวโฟกัส ตรงถนนริมแม่น้ำฝั่งตรงข้ามวัดพุทไธศวรรย์ แต่พอถึงที่พักแล้ว จะรู้สึกหลุดไปคนละบรรยากาศ คือเงียบสงบ ริมน้ำเห็น ๆ ตกแต่งสวยงาม รู้สึกผ่อนคลาย คล้ายอยู่บ้านตนเอง เพราะเป็นโฮมสเตย์มีไม่กี่ห้อง แนะนำต้องชวนครอบครัวมาพัก จะเป็นส่วนตัวมากมาก
